Hey there my name is Lana, I am 23 years old and I'm originally from NSW but have recently moved to Perth with my partner to live with my sister and her boyfriend. I'm missing my 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel who I love dearly, which is why I'm super keen to become a pet sitter. My motivation for pet sitting comes from my love of all animals. I’ve always had dogs in my life and find nothing better than being in their company. I'm happy to have your fury friend stay at my house for overnight stays but also open to staying at your house, I'm happy to stick to your pet's usual routine, including feeding, exercise, and playtime. We live right beside Mills Park (Beckenham) so there are lots of routes to walk dogs and let them run around. I'm also cool with giving medications if needed. Ive been a dog lover all my life, grew up with them licking my face and sleeping with me. Over the years i've had Ridgebacks, flat coat retrievers, labs, kelpies and all sorts of mixed breeds. I'm retired now and have plenty of time to walk and enjoy my current mate , Ren. A boarder collie kelpie cross. Both he and i enjoy lots of walks and socialising with other dogs and people.&nbsp;
Quiet time, a safe home environment, comfortable living, and a good diet are also important for him .&nbsp;

I grew up with two fur babies and been petsitting my cousins pets when they're away for as long as I can remember. 
I’ve looked after both cats and dogs before, all with very different personalities. Some want lots of cuddles and playtime, others are more independent and just want their space and routine respected. I’m happy to follow whatever your pet is used to, whether that’s feeding times, medication, walks, or just quiet company. I’m very patient and I pay attention to the little things, especially if a pet is shy or takes time to settle.
I understand how attached we are to our pets, and I also know how nerve-wracking it can feel leaving them with someone else. I try to make that easier by being calm, attentive, and treating every pet with the same care I’d want for my own.

Your pup will have full access to our open-plan living area, complete with large windows that overlook the backyard and pool. In summer, dogs can enjoy a supervised dip to cool off, and we provide safety jackets for extra peace of mind.
