Hi, I'm Shea!

My husband and I live in a lovely 2 storey town home with a fully fenced in courtyard and are only a 5min walk to the stunning Banks Street Reserve.

We are in our mid 30's and early 50's. We are looking to help some locals out whilst enriching our day to day lives with your beautiful fur-baby, whilst we do not have our own dog, we have both owned dogs previously and do plenty of dog-sitting for our friends and family.

We enjoy being outdoors as much as we do relaxing in our courtyard listening to music and having a BBQ, the local pub that is dog-friendly is also one of our fave spots to visit!

Our space has a spare room for lounging in the AC on hot days, all tiled floors with carpets upstairs - don't worry, we have a professional grade carpet shampoo machine if there happens to be any little accidents.

We can't wait to hear from you and answer any and all questions you may have.

I was an animal shelter volunteer for 8 months at a shelter in Singapore and am an animal welfare enthusiast. You can be sure that I will treat your pet and family with utmost respect and care.
At the shelter, volunteers are trained over 2 weekends on how to walk, leash, bathe, feed and overall handling of dogs. As such, i have had experience of handling dogs of varying sizes.
Right now I have availability on the weekends to dogsit if you need the 2 days to getaway. 
I have dog-sat for my neighbours and friends. My references:  My ex neighbour had full trust and faith in my dog-sitting abilities and even passed me a key for safekeeping! I am able to provide references from 2 dog owners- one is my ex-neighbour and the other is a friend, both for whom i have dog-sat (Harley) and house-sat (Lucky) for. Happy to giev your their numbers for a chat. 
Please note my house is not available for pet sitting. However, i am able to watch your dog at your house during the day and overnight (should the location of your home be a reasonable distance form the Annerley) I do not have kids or dogs of my own. I can also do house-visit for your cats. 
I am really good with walking dogs giving good scratches and pats. I love the company of dogs and have so for as long as i can remember and am waiting for my house to be completed before I get my first Samoyed!

**Please Note: I am able to mind only ONE dog at a time (or 2 from the one owner). I have a senior aged little JR, and I need to take her needs into consideration (though don't tell her she is nearly 17!) She gets on absolutely great with visiting small dogs(refer photos), and besides, that way, your little dog will get my full attention. I do have another Jack Russell, (born April 2021) - LOVES company. Both are well trained, and gentle.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Having recently retired, and after doing some traveling for house and horse sits throughout South East Qld, it's time to stay home and mind some lovely little dogs for their owners to get away.&nbsp;
I have recently installed a 6-8' Colorbond fence, I offer a safe secure yard with plenty of room for your little mate to play and run in. And it IS escape proof! From the owner of a true Houdini, this yard has finally beaten her! My house is also in a very quiet safe area. Lots of doggie beds, toys, shelter, water bowls, etc.&nbsp;
Being retired, I am home all day. I live in a flat area, close to a lovely park should your dog need a walk (NO extra charge and only if you want your dog to have a walk, and I do not let visiting dogs off the lead). My yard has plenty of cover, back patio has a doggy door, no garden, and dog can have access to the house. I am more than happy to mind senior dogs, dogs with ailments (deaf, blind, medication, post op, etc). My older Jack Russell is extremely well behaved, very gentle, well trained and LOVES company, but I do need to stipulate - I am only able to mind small/smaller breed dogs. Care for puppies upon individual requests, but again, only small breeds.
I also offer pick up and drop off if needed - I will need to discuss this individually with clients.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Please note that overnight rate is per 24 hours, though an extra hour or 2 acceptable. To drop off at 7.00am one day and pick up 8.00pm the next day is both an overnight charge, and a day charge.&nbsp;
