Hey there! I’m April, a professional in Pet Care. I offer animal training, pet sitting, pet visits, dog walking and adventure days, and horse care. 

We have two kids, live on acreage with our horses in Tallebudgera, and can offer a loving, secure family home for your cuties when pet sitting, while you go do life. Whether it's long term pet sitting, a couple nights or doggy daycare, we'll treat your pup like our own with lots of walks, cuddles and play.

I have a lifetime of experience with animals, training dogs and puppies, cats, horses, experience with reptiles, birds and small pets. You name it, I know it! I’m also a volunteer for Wildcare Australia and have experience with rescuing injured native Wildlife.

Located on the Gold Coast, and make weekly visits to Brisbane for dog training or adventure walks, or happy to travel south of the border if needed.

I’ll treat your pet like my own, loved and cared for at all times and love going on adventures like beach walks or hikes, so having more furry friends as company for these is amazing.

I have my certificate in canine behaviour, and can help with with any issues you need to work on with your pup. These include basic puppy training which is important in the first 20 weeks of life to set them up for success, dog socialisation, lead behaviour, mild dog aggression or aggression with people, anxiety and other reactive behaviours.

We also offer Horse Training, Horse Care Visits and Riding Lessons.

Hi! I am Sophie (31) and most likely will be taking care of your pets together with my partner Ben (39). We used to live in the Netherlands (I am Dutch) but are now happy to be back in Australia. We love the outdoors and going for walks (preferably with animal friends). We play tennis and enjoy going to the beach for a swim or a run.&nbsp;
We both work online from wherever we have internet. I am a sportspychologist and Ben is a writer of kidsbooks. At the moment we are exploring Australia, partly to see the country and partly with an eye for where we'd like to settle down. Petsitting is the perfect way to experience these wonderful places as a local. A furry friend (or many) makes this all the more fun, especially since we work from home a lot, they are a welcome distraction and good excuse to go for a walk. Our petsitting journey began 2 years ago, and since then, we've had the pleasure of looking after a variety of animals, from cats and dogs to horses, cows, chickens, and fish. We understand the importance of routine for your pets, so we make it a priority to stick to their established feeding and walking schedules. If your pets require medication, we have experience in this area, Ben's cat was a diabetic and we have looked after pets with different conditions.
In the Netherlands we had a nice little house, that we renovated ourselves. We are houseproud and would truly enjoy taking care of your home. Without pets of our own at the moment, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet and pamper your furry or feathered companions. Whether it's a leisurely walk, a game of fetch, or just some cozy cuddle time, we love it all.

We are a small and quiet family (myself and my daughter) and new sitters to Pawshake.We are looking forward to giving your fur baby a '5 star home away from home' - so you can relax and feel calm while you are away!Understandably being new sitters, we don't currently have any reviews as yet so feel free to call first to chat and/or visit our home to make you feel more comfortable.&nbsp;Information about our small quiet household:&nbsp;I have always shared my life with adopted fur babies and after recently loosing my 15 year old shelter dearly loved pussy cat, I wanted to give back to other pet owners by giving them the reassurance that their beloved hairy members of the family will be loved and cared for just as they receive at their own homes.I know how important your fur babies care is and how difficult it can be in finding suitable accommodation for them when you are going away. I hope that this will make it easier for you in feeling comfortable and ultimately allow you to relax and unwind while you are away.&nbsp;We are in a unit with security screens and a non-smoking family so you can be sure of a safe 'holiday' home for your beloved hairy babies.&nbsp;There are no other pets and we have lots of hideholes so your treasured companion can feel secure and safe to take a leisurely nap before taking a stretch and wander in the basking sun coming through the windows.  It's definitely a cat's life!&nbsp;&nbsp;Otherwise we can visit your home within the suburb of Labrador if this is more convenient.In addition, I have got alot of experience with guinea pigs having had 5 of my own at one time!  As they are delicate creatures, I can ensure that with knowledge they will get the extreme specialist care they require.

A spoilt pup that would really enjoy keeping yours company.&nbsp;My husband Steve, and I work from home and have time during the day to provide lots of love and attention to your pup. We live a few minutes away from a beach, and Rufus gets multiple walks a day, so your pup will be part of our daily routines.&nbsp;I will only take one pup at a time in my home and will take small dogs only. Happy to also provide house visits or walking. (this can be provided for bigger dogs)&nbsp;If your pup is spending the day or overnight at ours, we have a fully fenced little yard and they will have access to inside and out 24 hrs a day. We are happy to have your pups snuggle with us inside or spend their time wherever they are most comfortable.
