Hello everybody!  My name is Sonia. I am a 26 years old girl from Italy, now living and traveling around Australia. after doing some traveling and explore this beautiful country, I decided to plant roots on the Gold coast, so here I am!  My pet sitting journey started with cats. I was around 12 and, as I couldn't get a cat myself, I thought about taking care of my neighbours' cat. I fell in love with animals this way and I was finally able to get not 1 but 6 cats!   Since taking care of animals is something that passionate me, I started to learn about animal behaviour and to take care of dogs as well. I have now experience with rescue dogs, farm (and working) dogs and I have some basics of dog training!  In my years of pet sitting experience, I also took care of farm &amp; smaller animals such as hamsters, birds, tropical animals and much more!  I know how pets can suffer when their owner is not home with them, and I want them to feel loved and cared as much as I can even when their family is far away! I work as a marketer from an office just twice a week and I run my business on the side: I am loving the laptop lifestyle! This means I can be as flexible as you need and I don't have really strict schedules to follow.  I love doing overnight house sits job because I can fully focus on your pet! I usually arrive early in the morning or at the time you are leaving and can wait for you to arrive back home!  Mi casa es tu casa so I will take care of your home the same way I would with mine. Watering plants, collecting mails, putting out the bins and collecting them and other light housekeeping duties.  oh and of course, pictures of your puppy in funny poses are included ;)

I have two beloved family dogs in the UK that I haven't seen since before covid! Both are rescue dogs that were very timid at first, and we showered them with love, affection and support to become the strong, confident dogs they are today! I really miss having dogs around, and so I have really enjoyed looking after my friends dogs when they go on holiday, as it means I get all the love and fun of a part time pup, and my friends get to have a break away if they need to!
I work 4 days a week, however on my days off I have lots of time and patience to offer your dog, and will treat them like my own, lots of lovely long walks on the beach and around the park in the daytime, and cuddles on the sofa in the evening watching tv.&nbsp;Your dog will be a part of our family for the short time that we have together, and you can have peace of mind knowing that he or she is being well looked after!
I live with my partner Phil who loves animals as much as I do (especially frogs and lizards funnily enough). We have no pets and no children so we have lots of time to devote to your furry best friend!
We live in a lovely secure apartment in Broadbeach, and there are dog friendly cafes in the area for us to go to.
