For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Gilston QLD for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Gilston QLD Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Gilston QLD sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

l am an animal lover and a professional dog groomer working and caring for dogs daily. I prefer caring for small to medium sized dogs of all breeds and ages.
I have a large home with a secure garden on Sovereign Island. My nearest park is 100m away and we are surrounded by many beaches on the backwater and ocean front. Since childhood, my husband and I have shared our lives with family dogs. My husband is British, and I am Australian/Chinese, so we are fluent in either English or Chinese and we have no children.
All dogs we care for have a secure clean garden with access 24 hours a day through a doggy door when our main doors are closed. We also never restrict any parts of our home to dogs who are within our care. Our care includes rest and play periods when the dog(s) desire it and two outside walks daily, once per morning and another late afternoon, or otherwise as per your instructions, and dogs are never left alone or out of sight 24/7.
We have a small Toy Poodle called Chocky who is 13, who we adopted as a rescue dog since he was 1.5 years old. Chocky is calm, well behaved and very sociable towards other dogs. We have ample play areas and doggy toys for an enjoyable stay with us.
We welcome you to bring your furry family member along to visit us for a home inspection and an introduction to Chocky.
(Please note: Our pool and canal boat dock areas are securely fenced off with no dog access)

I have had a passion for animals since my earliest childhood, and I've proven my love for them since I had my first pet. I just love them.
I love to take walks, and if an animal accompanies me, I enjoy it much more. I live near parks and areas where your animal will be happy.
I like to spend as much time as possible with them, enjoy their company, give them long or short walks (depending on what the owner decides), and always give them a lot of love.
On sunny days, I usually take them for a walk on the beach so they can cool off, I do this as long as I have the permission of the owners, as well as some excursions to make the stay more enjoyable.
I want to help you take care of yours, walk it, have it on days that you can not take care of.
My house is fully fenced.
If you need someone to take care of your pet at home while you work or are away for any reason, I can care for your pet until you return.
I only ask that you be sincere when describing your pet's character so it receives the proper treatment.
I hope you trust me.

Hello!
My name is Laura and I live in Varsity Lakes on the beautiful Gold Coast, in a peaceful, green neighbourhood perfect for walks, playtime, and relaxing in the backyard.
I've always been passionate about animals – I've grown up with dogs, cats and horses! My biggest motivation to become a pet sitter is to share that love by giving your furry friends the attention, care, and adventure they deserve while you're away. I truly enjoy making pets feel at home, happy, and loved – there's nothing better than a wagging tail and those joyful moments together! ️
My experience with dogs:

I was lucky to have a dog when I was younger, named Kery – he was a very cute, trained, and well-behaved poodle
Last year, during a full year, I was living with a Polynesian family in Tahiti and took care of their dog, called Given – he was very athletic and lovely! 🦮
Also, I very regularly pet sit 2 dogs: a very young energetic Frenchton called Elio & a big Beauceron that is a quiet strength called Senna! They are truly the best

I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to ensure everyone's safety. This keeps things secure and stress-free!
I'm reliable, patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog's personality and needs. I always send photos and updates. I offer daily dog walking, doggy day care at my home, overnight boarding, home visits, and pick-up/drop-off services.
Your four-legged family members will be in loving, caring hands!
Looking forward to meeting you and your companion
Laura

I am 25 years old and animals have always been an important part of my life, especially cats. I truly enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their unique personalities, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. Being a pet sitter is not just a job for me, but a responsibility that I take on with genuine care and dedication.
My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my deep love and respect for animals. I understand that every cat is different—some are playful and social, while others are more independent and prefer calm routines. For this reason, I always adapt to each pet’s needs, respecting their habits, feeding schedules, and rest time. I make sure they receive attention, playtime, cleanliness, and companionship so they feel at home.
I offer pet sitting services in my home, providing safe, calm, and loving environment for pets. I can take care of daily feeding, fresh water, regular walks, playtime, and basic hygiene. I also give pets plenty attention, affection, and supervision, and I can follow specific instructions such as medication schedules or special diets if needed. My home is clean, and suitable for pets, ensuring they feel relaxed and well cared for while their owners are away.
I have previous experience caring for cats and other animals, both my own and those of family and friends. This has helped me learn how to recognize signs of stress, hunger, or discomfort. I only accept vaccinated pets, as I believe maintaining a safe and healthy environment is essential. If you are looking for a responsible, patient, and loving pet sitter, I would be happy to take care of your furry friend .

Hi there!
Our names are Verity and Logan, and we’re both 30 years old.
We have a son named Maxwell and we also share our lives with our 2 x Japanese Spitz (Alfie & Loui) and our 3 legged Rescue Kelpie (Lexi).
Animals have always been a massive part of our lives, and we absolutely love what we do! This passion is a big reason why we moved to the quiet suburb of Wonglepong. Together, we now manage 2 acres of lush, beautiful land where our family – including all our pets – can live out their dreams in our very own puppy paradise.
Between us, we have plenty of experience caring for small to medium dogs, and if you choose us to sit your beloved pet, we promise they’ll enjoy all the love, care, and cuddles while you’re away.
We know how important pets are to a family, and we’ll treat them just like one of our own. ️

I’m a reliable, caring and responsible animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. I currently have a dog of my own back home with my family in New Zealand, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is receiving the same love, attention and care they would receive from you.
I’ve also cared for friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs and rabbits, sometimes for several weeks at a time. This has given me experience managing feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic care and different personalities and routines.

I understand that every pet is different, and I’m comfortable adapting my approach to suit their individual needs. For anxious or nervous dogs, I take a calm and patient approach, giving them time to settle in rather than overwhelming them. If a dog has behavioural challenges, such as separation anxiety, nervousness around new people or other dogs, excessive barking or difficulty settling, I follow their usual routine and any instructions provided by their owner. I’m also happy to care for multiple pets at once and make sure each pet receives individual attention, while keeping feeding, walking and medication routines organised.

I’m flexible with my availability and can provide daytime visits, regular walks or overnight house sitting depending on what works best for you and your pet. For visits, I can provide fresh food and water, playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks and exercise. I’m also happy to stay overnight if your pet is happiest in their own home and familiar surroundings.

I love taking dogs on regular walks and can provide walks from 30 minutes to over an hour, depending on your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine. I enjoy giving dogs time to explore, sniff and enjoy the outdoors while making sure they remain safe and comfortable.

Your pet’s safety is always my priority. In an emergency, I would contact you immediately, follow your instructions and seek veterinary assistance if required. I’ll also provide regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you’re away.
Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and genuinely care about making them feel comfortable, loved and well looked after.

Hi,
I'm Ben, I live in Burleigh with my dog Obie, he's a 3yo rescued gentle giant that wants nothing more than to go for walks, drives, swims & of coarse eat every chance he gets,
Myself, I'm a Self Employed Carpenter, that enjoys a healthy work to life ratio, I believe it's important to have a happy, healthy life, so I take on smaller jobs, so I can have more time for myself, the pets & my hobbies.
There's room in my home & yard to look after your pets for short amounts of time, max a few hours that Obie & myself can keep them entertained, trained, with walks, beach trips, runs, swims till they're worn out & ready to sleep, but I believe pets are always more comfortable at home so aternatively I prefer to provide home visits, training, walks, house & pet sitting, this way your furry friend gets to stay in a yard & sleep in a home that they are familiar with.
I have a Ute so I can provide transport & do multiple trips/visits per day, so you can be assured your furry loved our will get lots of play time & walks in new locations with lots of new things to sniff. Walks can range from 30mins to an hour & any other requirements can be discussed.
I also have had reptiles & am more than happy to look after these amazing creatures also.
Anyway let me know what you & your pets needs are & I'm happy to help!!
Ben.

My name is Jose. I’m an Agricultural Engineer and my partner Cecilia is a veterinarian. We moved from Argentina in 2016. Since then we did many per sittings here and overseas as well. We are responsible, organised and non-smoking people.
Because we love pets and we can’t live without them, we started pet sitting 7 years ago.
Registered last year as a house sitter. We took care of every breed of dogs and cats, and any kind of pets. Each time we obtained great reviews from home owners.
We have also volunteered a few months ago in India helping injured street dogs and farm animals. We learned about first aids and critical care during that experience.
We would love to take care of your pets and are more than happy to give them cuddles, play and take them for a walk. I know what an important role they play in our lives, and I am willing to exceed in providing serious and proficient care to them.

Hi! My name is Juana, and I’m a caring and responsible pet sitter who genuinely loves animals. I have experience looking after dogs and cats, and I currently have a dog back in Argentina who is a very important part of my life, so I understand how much trust is needed when caring for someone’s pet.

I’m available most days and can adapt to different schedules depending on the owner’s needs. When I’m pet sitting, I make sure pets are not left alone for long periods and I always follow the owner’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free.

I’m confident handling different behaviours, from energetic dogs that need active walks to calmer pets that require patience and gentle attention. I always pay attention to safety during walks, keeping dogs on a lead and avoiding risky situations.

I also really enjoy taking photos and videos of the pets during the day, so I naturally like sharing little updates and keeping owners connected and reassured while they’re away.

In case of emergencies, I stay calm, contact the owner immediately, and follow any instructions provided. I also make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, and get proper care and companionship throughout the day.

My goal is to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. ️
