We’re a couple who truly love dogs and share our home with Milo, our very friendly 4-year-old dachshund. Milo is very social and enjoys having dog friends around, so visiting dogs usually settle in quickly with him.

One of us works mornings and the other afternoons, so your dog would rarely be alone for more than about an hour. Most of the time they’ll have company from us or from Milo, and we make sure they feel safe, relaxed and part of the home.

We treat our dog as a real member of the family, not just a pet, and we would care for your dog the same way. We know how hard it can be to leave them when you travel, so our goal is to give them a calm, loving place where they feel comfortable.

When a new dog arrives, we take time to introduce them slowly to Milo and allow them to explore the apartment at their own pace. We can provide daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of attention and cuddles. We’re also happy to follow any specific routines your dog is used to.

We live in a carpeted apartment, so we can only host small, well-trained dogs that are toilet trained and comfortable in an apartment environment.

Hello, my name is Heidi, and I am 25years old. Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of growing up with dogs, which has fostered my deep love and passion for animals. I am an experienced and dedicated pet sitter, committed to providing a safe, loving, and happy environment for pets in my care.
Currently, I work full-time as a Family Assistant/Estate Assistant—a role I was fortunate to receive through a family I met while pet sitting for their dogs. As part of my job, I get to spend my days with their pets, which brings me so much joy. My love for animals is at the heart of everything I do, and I am known for being a compassionate and attentive caretaker.
I have two fur babies of my own - full breed chihuahua, Bambi and chihuahua cross, Bibble. Bambi is a sassy little girl and Bibble is cuddle bear but very frightened of life due to her being a rescue. 
As a vegetarian with a strong passion for animals and fitness, I love spending time outdoors—especially on walks, which I’m sure your pet will enjoy too. Over the years, I’ve had a variety of pets, giving me broad experience in caring for animals of all kinds.
I now offer pet sitting services from my own home in Denman Prospect. While I do live in an apartment, I understand this may be something you’d like to consider—so I’m more than happy to arrange a meet-and-greet at my place beforehand. I also continue to offer pet sitting in clients’ homes if that’s your preference.

I'm Cary. I'd love to walk your dog or care for your pet overnight/s.
I have been lucky enough to share my life with many wonderful pets (mostly dogs and cats) and I know how special and precious they are. And also how critical it is to provide some social stimulation and exercise on a regular basis.
I have decades of experience walking and caring for dogs and cats, puppies and kittens and many more mature fury family members. But I'm new to Pawshake.
I am recently retired and have plenty of time to walk or look after your pet.
I love to stay active so would welcome some company on a walk (or slow jog). I can meet your dog's preference for a long walk or more of a short walk with lots of time for sniffing, or just meet and play in the backyard or park.
Our dog (a 15 year old jug), Finn, passed away a year and I miss him and the time we enjoyed exploring our neighbourhood or just spending time together.
I love all size dogs and very happy to pet sit cats too.
If it's overnight, I'm very happy to water the garden and pot plants, take out the bins, keep your house tidy and secure, and keep your pet/s company and feeling safe and secure.
I live in central Canberra, but happy to pet sit anywhere.
I'm happy for one of, ad hoc or semi regular walks....whatever works for you and your dog/s.
