Hi, I'm Megan, I am 31 years old and I am currently living in Ipswich with my husband and our three budgies, Basil, Bleu, and Indigo. Currently I do not have any children. We did have a much- loved Miniature Bull Terrier named Amos who was our fur baby, and who sadly passed away.&nbsp; &nbsp;I have always loved animals since I can remember, enjoy seeing the different characteristics they all have, and the love and loyalty they give. I am currently working a casual job that some days it requires me to step out out of the house. I do have security cameras to keep an eye on your pet whilst away. I will work around my schedule so your pet gets all the attention and care they need. I decided to join Pawshake because I want to work with animals, and to help people out who need someone to look after their much beloved pet when they need it the most.&nbsp;Growing up I had fish, birds, dogs, and a duck. Being surrounded by animals my whole life has given me the joy, experience and love for them. I've had my own pets, and I've looked after family members pets also. I've looked after dogs, chickens, and birds.&nbsp;I like getting out and going for walks, whether it's along the beach, the bush, and or suburb area. We have a large doggy door so your pet can come in and out of the house. We have a low set house with no stairs which is perfect if you have an older animal.Your pets will be loved just like my own. Hi  inmy service is provided constant company with lots of walks and lots of love and cuddles.&nbsp;
I can administer medications if needed. I also did a grooming course and will make sure your furbaby is always brushed and looking good.&nbsp;
I also competed in dog obedience, agility and dog showing. So I am used to training dogs.
I can board 2 dogs at s time if I am assured they get along well.
I walk dogs 2 to 3 times a day for at least half hour each time.
I work from home so I am always with my boarders giving them constant company and love.
I live with my labradoodle called Fifi and mum's dog a King Cavalier Charles Spaniel called Charlotte who comes over every day. I also live with my tortishell cat called Misty. Also my cockatoo called Ted and 6 budgies called Belle, Bluey, Baby, Sky, Daisy and Sunny.
I always allow dogs to sleep on my bed and couch or their own bed if supplied.They have complete access to my entire house and I will be with them 24/7.As well as walks and trip to the off leash when nobody but us are there, we can play in the lounge room or the patio or backyard.&nbsp;
I also have a fully fenced backyard that is always secured. So I can't wait to meet and look after your precious furbaby.







As a mum of five humans (ages 7 to 15) and a very proud mumma to two absolutely adored dogs, chaos, cuddles, and unconditional love are just part of my everyday life.  There’s almost always someone around ready to give your pet a pat, a cuddle, or a bit of extra attention.I know firsthand how hard it is to trust someone with your fur babies—I use a pet sitter myself, so I get it. You want someone who treats your pets like family, not just a job… and that’s exactly what I do. Expect belly rubs, chats, playtime, and plenty of “who’s a good boy/girl?!” moments.We offer overnight stays at our place, check-ins at yours, and day sitting during school holidays—flexible care to suit you and your pet’s needs.We also make sure your pets stay comfortable and safe in the Queensland heat—walks are done early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler, and outdoor water bowls are refreshed at least twice a day (more often on those extra hot days).To help your pet feel right at home, dogs are welcome inside if they’re toilet trained, and we even have a doggy door they can use. They’re welcome to sleep inside or outside—whatever they’re used to. We also have a shaded patio area with a fan where they can relax and stay cool. And if your pet prefers some quiet time, we can easily create a calm, cosy space just for them.When we welcome a visiting pet into our home, we do our best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and accommodated as part of our family. We will feed visiting pets separately and, if needed, keep them separate from our own dogs to ensure everyone feels secure and relaxed. We do prefer dogs to be desexed.Before the first stay, I would love to arrange a meet-and-greet at your home so your fur baby can get to know me, and I can also learn more about them, their routine, and their surroundings.Pets can be supervised both inside and outside the home. We have cameras around and inside the house so we can keep an eye on them at all times, even if we are in another room.Our yard is fully fenced and includes a separate fenced-off area on the left-hand side, which is perfect for separate feeding, quiet time, or giving pets their own space if needed. Our fences are high and secure, and we also have dig-proof barriers in place near the smaller side gate for extra safety.Now, full honesty… I have a soft spot for about 90% of pets If it has eight legs, a stinger, or slithers… we might need to have a quick chat first Otherwise, your pets will be loved, spoiled, and cared for just like my own—because that’s exactly what they deserve.
