"Ozgur and Ref did such an amazing job looking after our dog for an extended period of time. They were extremely conscientious and dedicated to caring for our high needs and anxious dog, and took great care with medication and specific requirements. "Cheryl and her family are delightful, caring dog sitters. Fergus had a great 3 night stay. Updates were regular, and Cheryl provides excellent communication and help. She has been so patient and kind in getting Fegus settled and happy while we were away, which meant we could enjoy our trip."

"Agnes is a sincere and great dog carer handling multiple dogs in a spacious and great home environment. She took care of our spoodle (who is a challenge at times 😂) for 10 days, communicating daily and notifying us if everything as it happened.

"Mat looked after my dog for 6 nights and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. We did an initial meet and greet at his house beforehand, which made drop-off super easy. When I brought my dog back for the stay, he immediately recognized Mat and went straight into the house with excitement — which says everything about how comfortable he felt there.
Mat was fantastic with communication. He sent daily updates about how the day was going along with lots of photos and videos, which was really reassuring and nice to see while I was away. He’s also very responsive whenever I messaged.
His house is clean and he has a huge, spacious backyard for dogs to enjoy. The court location also makes it feel more secluded and ideal for dog sitting.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d highly recommend Mat. He’ll definitely be my new default dog sitter going forward."

"We were a week out from leaving on an interstate family holiday when our dog sitter (my parents) announced they were off to NZ the same time we would be away….they’d completely forgotten Mochi, our large exuberant Harrier Hound, was going to stay with them while we were away.
Enter Pawshake. Dale was the first and only person we contacted - obviously time was a factor in our case, and her responsiveness, prices, easy going nature, and the fact she knew what she was talking about (plus she said nice things about our doggie!), meant we didn’t need to contact anyone else. (We looked at a few profiles on Pawshake and the number of people, young people, saying they could handle large excitable dogs in their one bedroom “insert trendy inner suburb here” apartment was laughable).
Mochi isn’t yet 2 years old and he’s huge (40 kg and my height -165cm when he stands up on two legs), he is a hound, bred to think a certain way (which is often “I’m doing what I want regardless) and on top of all of this, Mochi just wants to be loved and be around you. He needs someone who is going to give him all the love in the world while not being a pushover.
Dale knew how to respond and interact with Mochi from the start. He came back to us happy, healthy and very tired (we struggle to tire him out so this was brilliant).
Dale has the space, set up, location and knowledge for you to be able to leave your pet with her and not be worried about whether or not you made the right dog sitter decision. She updated us daily with photos of Mochi- it was so heartwarming to see Mochi wasn’t just another dog at their house; he was very much a part of their family and in the mix of it all for the 6 days he was with them.
We will not hesitate to book Dale again. Thank you so much for taking care of our boy! "

She was able to take on board pet at very short notice. It was the Christmas holidays no less.
Pamela took great care of our dog while we were away. She was very responsive to messages and gave extra care. Showed us how to use the site and even cooked her too. We were very happy with the experience and did not have to worry at all.

"We couldn't be happier with the dog-sitting services provided by Cassie. She understood our concerns (first time being away from doggo) and sent us frequent updates in the form of videos and photos, which gave us reassurance that our dog was in good hands.
