"My 6-month-old puppy has had a few day stays with the girls, and we just recently left him with them for a week whilst we were interstate. It was his first time staying anywhere without us overnight. He had the most amazing week ever! The girls were so kind to him, and treated him with love and care. They took care of all his food and exercise needs exactly as we had asked them to, and they went above and beyond to give him lots of chances to socialise with other dogs too. I was getting so many photos and videos of him having a wonderful time, I didn’t think he’d want to come home! 😁 Our pup absolutely adores Linda, Loida and Connie. It was very reassuring for us knowing he was in such good hands while we were away. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing either a day of sitting or a longer stay. "

"Ozgur and Ref did such an amazing job looking after our dog for an extended period of time. They were extremely conscientious and dedicated to caring for our high needs and anxious dog, and took great care with medication and specific requirements. We'd feel more than comfortable booking them again."

"Agnes is a sincere and great dog carer handling multiple dogs in a spacious and great home environment. She took care of our spoodle (who is a challenge at times 😂) for 10 days, communicating daily and notifying us if everything as it happened.

"We were a week out from leaving on an interstate family holiday when our dog sitter (my parents) announced they were off to NZ the same time we would be away….they’d completely forgotten Mochi, our large exuberant Harrier Hound, was going to stay with them while we were away.
Enter Pawshake. Dale was the first and only person we contacted - obviously time was a factor in our case, and her responsiveness, prices, easy going nature, and the fact she knew what she was talking about (plus she said nice things about our doggie!), meant we didn’t need to contact anyone else. (We looked at a few profiles on Pawshake and the number of people, young people, saying they could handle large excitable dogs in their one bedroom “insert trendy inner suburb here” apartment was laughable).
Mochi isn’t yet 2 years old and he’s huge (40 kg and my height -165cm when he stands up on two legs), he is a hound, bred to think a certain way (which is often “I’m doing what I want regardless) and on top of all of this, Mochi just wants to be loved and be around you. He needs someone who is going to give him all the love in the world while not being a pushover.
Dale knew how to respond and interact with Mochi from the start. He came back to us happy, healthy and very tired (we struggle to tire him out so this was brilliant).
Dale has the space, set up, location and knowledge for you to be able to leave your pet with her and not be worried about whether or not you made the right dog sitter decision. She updated us daily with photos of Mochi- it was so heartwarming to see Mochi wasn’t just another dog at their house; he was very much a part of their family and in the mix of it all for the 6 days he was with them.
We will not hesitate to book Dale again. Thank you so much for taking care of our boy! "

"We went out of town for several days to attend a festival a few hours away, and this was our first time ever using a dog sitter for Seelie, our 3-year-old medium spitz mix.
From the very beginning, Sara and Mike were kind, caring, and incredibly responsive, with clear and prompt communication that immediately put us at ease.
It was obvious that they pet sit for all the right reasons and have a genuine love of dogs. We went to their place for a meet and greet and immediately felt relieved that they were happy to understand Seelie’s personality and her unique needs, and were even happy to learn her commands and tricks so they could engage with and communicate with her.
The absolute best part was that they gave us so much peace of mind. We weren’t worried for even a moment because they sent so many adorable photos and videos that clearly showed Seelie was happy, well-adjusted, and truly enjoying her time with them. It was clear that they loved and enjoyed her, too!
We feel incredibly grateful to have found such thoughtful, attentive, and trustworthy pet sitters, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book them again or recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog."
