My name is Mandy and I share my home with my two children, aged 11 and 14 years. We have a love for animals and have previously cared for our own guinea pigs and cats. We have bred budgies, chooks. ( I Love Chooks) had lorikeets, a snake, pet rats, fish and longed for more
Then we inherited a georgeous black and tan silky terrier whose name was Auzzie. When our son (Jake) was born Auzzie found his purpose in life
Then followed Nicci, Lilly and Max
We knew Max was dying. He was the smartest, most tenacious little Jack Russell. Lots of heart and soul. Max just recently passed on and we miss him heaps. This is why we are officially beginning this journey. We have cared for family and friends pets along with our own.
They have always had freedom to be in and outside. Your pet can sleep with us or on our covered deck.
Our son Jake will exercise and play while Ian and I will feed, medicate, soothe and cuddle and your friend will have our constant company.
Our house sits on a fully fenced 800 s m block. Very safe playground.

Our home is on 3/4 of an acre in Moodlu, which is on the outskirts of Caboolture. We provide a safe, secure, calm and quiet environment where your cat will have the run of our home, as if it were their own. We are surrounded by peaceful nature, tropical trees and bird life with large glass doors in the lounge, where your kitty is sure to enjoy watching nature and soaking in some sunbeams and fresh air. We both have flexible working arrangements, so you can rest assured that we will be spending plenty of time keeping your cat/s company and giving them lots of attention (when they want it). We have an understanding of cat behaviour and will take the cues from your cat as to when they want to be lavished with attention or when they would prefer to be left alone to sleep or relax. We will gain your cats trust and confidence by reading their behaviour and signs, in order to make them feel as comfortable and settled during their stay as possible. We will keep your cat safe and secure inside our home.&nbsp;
We ask that you give us as much information about your cat as possible, so that we can ensure they are in alignment with their regular feeding schedules and routines and so that we can understand any special quirks or requirements. We will provide daily play and brushing if they require and will give you daily updates and photos/videos to keep you up to date and give you peace of mind.&nbsp;
We ask that your cats worming and flea treatments are up to date and for you to provide enough food and their preferred kitty litter for the duration of their stay. We will provide fresh filtered water and ensure their litter box is kept thoroughly clean and that they are pampered and loved. If your kitty has any favourite toys, brushes, bedding, blankets, bowls, litter boxes and/or clothing with your scent to help them feel secure, we are happy to use those for the duration of their stay and ensure they come home with your kitty when they leave their stay with us.&nbsp;
We welcome the opportunity for you to inspect our property, a meet and greet with you and your cat/s and to discuss yours and your kitties needs at any time prior to the commencement of your booking.&nbsp;
During our home visits, we are happy to complete any other small tasks like bringing in mail, taking out and bringing in the bins and watering plants.&nbsp;
I can provide a verified police check at our meet and greet. We also have experience with farm animals including horses, chickens, geese, guinea fowl and pigs.

2023 we are travelled Australia in our motorhome.  2024 has seen us become based in our own home and now we have the room to have your furry friends come to us to stay and play.  Happy to accommodate inside dogs and outside.  We even have an empty chicken coop if any chickens need a short term home.&nbsp;
Petsitting in your home (Brisbane Southside/Northside/Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast): My husband and I have been house/pet sitting since 2013, we are experienced in looking after dogs of all ages and sizes. We have looked after friendly cats and nervous cats - even the nervous ones become friendly and love the pats and cuddles.&nbsp;
Our preference has always been  to stay in your home and give your fur babies lots of attention and care rather than just pop in for a visit and then leave them alone. But now we have the room to have them stay with us.  When housesitting and petsitting we spend a lot of time with your precious pet, my husband is retired and i work from home over the internet, so very unusual for us to leave your pet or home for any length of time.
