Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Yagoona NSW Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Yagoona NSW cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Yagoona NSW cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Greetings, pet owners! I am a dedicated pet lover eager to provide top-notch pet sitting services. Growing up on a family farm, I developed a profound connection with animals, caring for both large and small dogs. Currently, I share my home with a Turkish Kangal named Lycan and a Rough Collie named Rumble. This experience has honed my understanding of diverse breeds and their unique needs. My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from a genuine passion for animals. Despite a busy corporate schedule, I yearn to spend quality time with furry companions on weekends. Having previously cared for two cats and maintaining my commitment to my own dogs, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the responsibilities that come with pet ownership. When it comes to the safety of your pets, rest assured that I prioritize their well-being. Only vaccinated pets are welcome into my home, ensuring a secure and healthy environment for all furry guests. Your pets are not just animals to me; they are cherished members of the family deserving the utmost care.

Hi! My name is Laoresha and I’m an Italian girl based in Sydney. I’m a calm, caring and reliable person who truly loves animals, especially cats.
I have my own cat at home, and I’ve also grown up surrounded by cats at my parents’ house, so taking care of them has always been part of my daily life. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, understanding their personalities and making them feel safe, relaxed and loved while their owners are away.
I have experience looking after pets for friends and family, including feeding, cleaning litter trays, playing, giving affection and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
I’m a very responsible and attentive person, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I would always treat your pet with love, patience and care as if they were my own.
I currently prefer cat sitting, home visits and caring for calm pets in a safe and loving environment. Vaccinated pets are preferred 🤍

As a dedicated pet sitter, my passion for animals runs deep, shaping every aspect of my life and career. Growing up surrounded by pets, I developed a profound appreciation for their unconditional love and companionship, which fueled my desire to provide the same level of care and affection to other furry friends. My journey as a pet sitter began from a place of genuine love and empathy for animals, driving me to offer reliable and compassionate services to pet owners seeking trustworthy care for their beloved companions.
With more than 5 years of experience in pet sitting, I have honed my skills in understanding and catering to the unique needs of each pet under my care. From playful pups to senior cats, I have cared for a diverse range of animals, gaining invaluable insights into their behavior and preferences along the way. My services encompass a wide range of offerings, including feeding, walking, grooming, and administering medications, all delivered with the utmost attention to detail and professionalism.
One of my top priorities as a pet sitter is ensuring the safety and well-being of every animal entrusted to me. Therefore, I strictly adhere to a policy of only bringing vaccinated pets into my home, providing a secure environment I have an small backyard where pets can thrive under my supervision.
In essence, my motivation to be a pet sitter stems from a deep-seated love for animals and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in their lives. With a combination of experience, compassion, and dedication, I am committed to providing exceptional care for pets and peace of mind for their owners, ensuring that every wagging tail and purring cuddle brings joy and contentment to all involved.

I offer dedicated and loving dog care, focused on providing attention, routine, and companionship to ensure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and understand how important it is for them to feel relaxed and well cared for at all times.

My services include feeding according to the owner’s instructions, daily walks, playtime, and continuous supervision. I am attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether they are energetic, shy, puppies, or senior dogs who may require a calmer pace and extra care. I always respect established routines and any special requirements provided by the owner.

I am patient, responsible, and reliable, and I treat every dog with kindness and respect. My priority is to ensure each dog receives proper care, affection, and attention, creating a positive experience and giving owners complete peace of mind while they are away.

Hello! My name is Stephanie and I work full-time as a nurse, so caring, patience, and attention to detail come very naturally to me. I’ve always had a deep love for animals and grew up around both cats and dogs, so being around pets feels completely second nature.
I currently have a cat of my own, Jeffery, who truly is my world. Through caring for him and other pets, I’ve gained hands-on experience with cats and dogs of different personalities — from affectionate and playful to shy, anxious, or more independent. I understand that every pet is different, and I always take the time to move at their pace, especially with nervous or timid animals.
I had a wonderful experience using Pawshake myself while on holiday — Jeffery was absolutely spoilt and I received regular updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. That experience inspired me to offer the same level of care and reassurance to other pet parents who may feel anxious leaving their fur babies behind.
During my visits, I’m happy to stay for a proper amount of time to ensure your pet feels comfortable and cared for. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter tray or toilet breaks, playtime, gentle affection (if they enjoy it), and quiet company for pets who prefer space. I’m very attentive and will always follow your instructions closely. You can expect detailed daily updates with photos or videos — or more frequent updates if you’d like.
My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and relaxed while giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away 🤍

Hi my name is Bethany! I am a 20 year old animal lover🫶🏼
I am a uni student still living at home with parents and have three cats and a dog. I am just looking to help others out while doing what I love (spending time with animals!) Due to university commitments I am unable to do 24hr home visits but I would love to walk your animal or spend some time with them throughout the day. I offer most services available on the app! I love walking and exercise so I see these activities with animals as a bonus. Even just spending time with animals doesn't feel like much of a job to me which is why I am here isn't it. If you do have any questions please reach out to me, I would love to help you and your furry friends in anyway I can🩷
Looking forward to starting this new chapter with some new animals to meet

Hi! I’m new to Sydney and one of the things I miss most from back home is being around animals. In my country, I used to take care of my brother’s two dogs: Yuquita, a joyful boxer, and Oreo, a playful husky. They’re full of love, energy, and personality, and looking after them brought so much happiness and purpose to my days.
Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy—whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, or just sharing quiet moments and cuddles. I love learning each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained.
Now that I’m settling into life here, I’d love to care for your pet as if they were part of my own family. Being with animals makes any place feel like home, and I’d be so happy to bring that warmth and connection into my days here in Sydney.

I'm a life long animal lover currently working as an IT professional with flexible hours working from home.
I'm an experienced, knowledgable professional and proud fur dad to two spirited French bulldogs (6 years and 1.5 years old) and one demanding Burmese cat (15 years old). My experience with cats includes looking after Devon Rex, Burmese, Siamese and Domestic Short Hair cats (purebred and adopted).

I'm available for daily home visits to look after your pets in the much of the Inner West, Caterbury-Bankstown and St George areas. Visits will be 1 hour with the option for a 2x visit booking for 2 hour stays or two seperate visits depending on your pet's schedule (and travel time if you're further away)
