Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly West Lakes Shore SA Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our West Lakes Shore SA cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our West Lakes Shore SA cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

My name is Selene, and I love taking care of animals. I had a cat named Loco, who was my greatest love, and I will definitely give all my love to your pets as if they were my own!

I have had experience as a dog and cat sitter for many years in Italy, and I love taking long walks and playing with your four-legged friends! Each day is an opportunity to make your pets happy and ensure they have a day filled with joy and well-being. I am committed to providing high-quality service that reflects the affection and care i would offer to my own pets.I am always ready to adapt to the specific needs of each animal and to maintain open communication with you, ensuring that everything goes smoothly. My goal is to create a safe and loving environment where your pets can feel serene and happy even in your absence.

At the moment I am available for walks, and for visits and cuddles in your home! Let me know your (and your puppies) favorite places for walks! Or if you like to change park and meet new 4-legged friends!

When visiting your home I can also water the plants or pick up the mail!

Hi My name is Alec I'm 25 years old in Woodville Gardens, I have a 2 year old cat. I love all animals. I'm offering my services for dog walking and pet sitting at pet owners home. My qualifications are certificate 2 in Animal Care and have been a dog trainer for Labs 'n Life. Other jobs I have had are graphic designer for Blend Creative and Admin Assistant for Jigsaws Australia. My passions are wrestling, music and looking after animals. I have had family pets my whole life I have looked out for. I'm confident to look out for your pets as if they are my own family. Look forward to meeting you and your pets. I am willing to drive as far as 30 minutes to look after your pet. I want to know as much about your pet as possible so I can have a better understanding of your pets wants, needs and quirks.

My name is Emma and I love dogs but don't have one of my own so would relish the opportunity to share in the joy of yours! I grew up with a gorgeous German Shepherd and various cats and am a real animal lover but work all day and am a firm believer that it's not fair to leave a dog at home on their own all day. I have a cat instead who's happy to lounge around doing nothing while I'm not there! I worked for an organisation that trained guide and assistance dogs for several years and used to get my 'dog fix' there but am now missing that regular interaction. I'd love to take your friendly mutt out for a walk for half an hour each day on weekdays after 6pm or in the afternoon on weekends. Of course the regular exercise it would provide me would be a great side benefit too! I'll take great care of your dog and will make sure they thoroughly enjoy their walk whilst not allowing them to take any liberties. I look forward to forming a firm friendship with your four legged friend!

We are a recently retired couple from Whyalla, SA. I (Tracey), worked in education for many years and Baz is a retired electrician. We are animal lovers and have our own eleven year old Ausssie Shepherd Alby, who is very calm, sociable and friendly. We recently moved to Adelaide for family reasons and have already completed many successful house/pet sits. I have a Police Check if required and we also have references and phone numbers from previous house/pet sits that we can provide on request.
We are very clean, well organised, reliable and always follow through with our commitments, all while treating your home and your pets as if they are our own. We do have a small off grid, fully self contained caravan which we would love to have with us at your property if possible.
We look forward to meeting you and your extended pet family.

Hi, I am a passionate animal lover who believes that every pet deserves to feel happy, loved, and completely at home! I offer fun walks, daycare filled with engaging playtime, and overnight stays where I ensure your pet gets all the individual attention and care they deserve.

I love getting to know each pet's unique personality, whether they are full of energy and love going on outdoor adventures, or prefer relaxing calmly at home. I always closely tailor my care to suit their established home routines, making the experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

Active Walks: Standard walks run between 30 to 60 minutes around the local area, keeping your dog safe, on-leash, and thoroughly entertained.

Daycare & Play: I can provide convenient pickup and drop-off services for your fluffy friend, offering a full day of care, routine feeding, and interactive play while you are running errands or out of the house.

When your out of the house I can come by and look after your pets and ensure that they are happy, cared for, and fed

Safety, Communication, & Handling:

Your peace of mind is my top priority. You will receive regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see exactly how much fun your pet is having.

I have extensive experience with nervous, shy, or reactive pets. If an anxious animal needs extra space, I know how to gently manage their environment to keep them calm.

In the rare event of an emergency, l am confident in handling the situation calmly, administering basic care, and getting in immediate contact with both you and a veterinarian right away.

I am available Monday through Friday at any time, and I can't wait to meet you and your wonderful pets!

Hello! My name is Chloe, I'm 22 years old and adore all animals. I have many years of experience handling a variety of animals through my volunteer work in a local animal shelter. I have also grown up taking care of numerous pets from hermit crabs and mice, to dogs, cats and lizards!
I am offering dog walking services in the St Clair area (5011). My main availability is evenings, weekends and occasioanly some weekdays.
I have recently moved out of home and away from my gorgeous family dogs who i miss a lot. I would love thte chance to spend some time with your pet. Your mind can rest knowing they are in safe and nurturing hands.
Whilst i do have experience with a broad range of temperaments, i would appreciate well-mannered fur friends so that our walks can be calm and enjoyable for both of us.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if your dog could use a new walking buddy :)
I look forward to meeting you and your pet.

My name is Ben, I am a 39 year old support worker in high schools for children with learning challenges and I am also a yoga teacher. I love caring for and supporting others and helping people live their best lives.
I have grown up surrounded by and loving many animals. My cat Billie sadly passed away at the age of 15 during Covid. I have another cat Frankie who is 19 years old, very active and social and has never had any health issues. Leroy is my best buddy and we do everything together.
I have a lot of experience helping look after others animals whilst they go away or are in hospital. I enjoy connecting with the pets and taking the utmost care with all of their needs whilst in my care.
I understand it can be scary leaving your pets with someone while they may have specific needs and I'm more than happy to follow every step by step guide to ensure your pets routine stays as on track as possible while you are away. Always happy to meet new clients and their babies first to ensure I'm the right person to care for them.

Hi my name is Helen and I absolutely adore dogs.
Our house has an enclosed back yard, with a dog bed and dog couch.
Dogs can sleetp outside or inside in a comfortable garage that has a big brown couch.
There is a large doggy door from the kitchen to the backyard.
I can only take vaccinated pets as I have a 3.5 year Husky X.
He is very friendly as he attends doggy daycare when I am at work and has been around many dogs since he was 10 months old.
To me, they are so special and I understand they are an important part of our family.
I have grown up with dogs and each and every one of them are unique.
Although this is my first time on Pawshake as a sitter I have used it for various services.
I know want to help out others with their fur babies.
I love taking long walks along the beach or parks etc.
My next career move will be opening up a doggy day care centre.
For now, I want to spend as much time as possible with as many beautiful pooches.
I would always offer to do a meet and greet and you can then decide if I am suitable to look after your dog and take them for walks, look after them in my home and stay with them overnight.
Helen xx

Hello! My name is Shannon. Back in 2018 I had experience with pet sitting as I used to travel to locations all over Adelaide with a friend to look after fur babies (can't help but call them that). It's been too long since I have had the chance to get back into it. And I finally have a decent amount of time to dedicate to being a pet sitter.
My motivation stems from a genuine love for animals, adoring all types. Cats in particular have my heart, they're the sweetest and I've never had a negative experience with a cat or a dog. Growing up I had a few cats which I still really miss.
Most of my experience is with small to medium dogs, and one Great Dane! And many cats.
Im willing to do drop bys to make sure the animals are fed, played with and walked, I'm also wanting to do overnight stays, as I love the responsibilities that come with looking after a pet. Making sure they have someone there, especially when I've built up the trust. I'd have one myself but I just can't financially justify that yet! So the privilege of taking care of a pet and giving you as an owner the peace of mind, that they are safe and happy (will always send pictures) is fulfilling enough.
I have a lot of spare time, and all the attention in the world to give to your pets. I'm always 15-30 minutes early once a schedule has been set, as it can give me time to get to know both you and your pet. I'm so keen to learn the different personalities that come with any breed.

i my name is Caitlin. I'm 20 and I love all types of animals. I have grown up around several different types of dogs as well as other pet and I really enjoy spending time with and getting to know different dogs. Each dog has there own personality, charms and weird quirks that we all love. If you trust me to look after your fur baby I can promise you that they will be well cared for and shown so much love while they are on their little adventure. I currently have 2 dog at home named Gabby and Bruno who are actually mother and son. They love meeting new people. I have finished my time at school as of last year and am just looking to do something I can enjoy at least for now. So hopefully I will be able to meet your beautiful pets and have a lovely time together. I don't take dogs to my house as mine are not very friendly with other but I am more then happy to check on your pets and take them out so they can enjoy themselves. I am currently available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for walks up to an hour I will usually stay in the area for walks or find a park near by. I can also spend up to an hour with your dog for a house visit. For house visits I can help with a small task you may have like bring in any mail or watering any plants.
