I am in my early 40's and an avid dog lover (completely dog obsessed). I have over five years' experience as a volunteer dog walker and have been lucky to have my own fur babies for a decade. At present, I have one gorgeous dog who is very dog and people friendly.&nbsp;
I am confident at walking, visiting and pet sitting dogs of any size and temperament. They're all beautiful to me!  I am able to feed, administer oral medication and take care of any other needs your fur baby may have. I believe that dogs are angels on Earth and deserve to be treated like gold, and my aim is to treat your dogs as my own while I'm caring for them.&nbsp;My motivation for becoming a dog sitter - I love being around and caring for doggos!! 
I will return to work after birth leave in August (four days per week as a public servant), and will be available for doggo duties most weekday evenings, weekends and long weekends.&nbsp;See exact details of my general availability below. 
I would prefer to work on the southside of Canberra to avoid excessive travel, particularly for home visits. But I am happy to negotiate locations on a case by case basis.&nbsp;

I am an animal lover who is absolutely dog obsessed; I am the type of person that needs to say hi and pat all of the dogs I pass by on the street. 
Since a young age I have always had a dog and other pets in my life before moving to Australia and since I unfortunately don't have any pets of my own at this moment I love to spend time with other people's pets. 
Despite being new to Pawshake I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 8 years. With all of this experience I have gained the skills to adapt to each animals individual needs to ensure that they feel safe and loved during their times with me. 
I'm also a very active person and like to keep fit so I love having some company on my walks. 
I have moved to Canberra about 8 months ago for a change of scenery and at this stage I am offering pet sitting in the pet's home, dog walking and daily home visits to keep your pets happy while you're away. I know how hard it is to go away without your pets so I always make sure to update owners with pics of their happy fur friend while they're in my care.

Our pets are often our greatest sources of smiles and affection, and in my home I've got 16 of them (3 Dogs, 6 Cats, 7 Bunnies). I'm experienced within complicated dynamics of heirarchy and pet "separation", as I have this at home and know extremely important these things are. Additionally experienced with catering for dietary/allergy/medically sensitive feeding and environmental requirements, and cuddles galore is always on offer for those big and small lovelies who want some company! I love going the extra mile to leave your wonderful fluffy bundles with extra smiles!
I've cared for animals all my life, and have experience with various different species and breeds but am also a tremendously quick learner, and I will never mind going out of my way to make sure the quality of care is elite, above all else, and I will very happily keep you updated with photos of your lovelies as well as any other requirements that might make you feel more at ease, and able to enjoy your time away from home, knowing they're in the best, careful and most loving hands they could be in until you return home to your beautiful family of furry friends!
