I have a TAFE Certificate in Animal Studies. I am passionate about caring for animals. I look after dogs, cats, rabbits, other furbabies, birds, and even your pet fish.
I offer home visits, dog walking, and overnight stays if they are in the North Eeastern Suburbs of Adelaide.&nbsp;
I would be delighted to take your pet pooch on his/her favourite walk in your neighbourhood, for up to 1 hour.&nbsp;
If you want me to visit your home, I will feed your beloved pet, clean your kitty's litter trays, and ensure your furry friend has fresh, clean, water. Generally, I will stay for half an hour to chat to your companion - if he/she makes an appearance (!). I can stay longer by prior arrangement.&nbsp;
My overnight stays mean your companion will receive my undivided attention! During this time my services include all normal home visits services, and extra time for companionship.&nbsp;

I am currently a 3rd year vet student, that graduated with a diploma in veterinary nursing, and worked in several veterinary clinics in Singapore before choosing to further my studies in Australia. I was responsible for the care of my adopted dog back home, which unfortunately passed away 2 years ago. I would however love to extend the same care and compassion to other pets.&nbsp;
Other than earning an income to support myself as I work and study, it would be awesome to be able to work while doing something I love!
With the basics I have learned in the veterinary nursing course - such as basic animal care and grooming, skills ive practiced on the job in clinics such as ear cleaning and showering, I believe that I would be able to be of help in making your pet feel comfortable, should they be away from their owners. A bit of background on me: After driving my parents crazy by constantly showing up at home with a new animal in need of a loving home, I decided to make the move from South Africa to Adelaide to pursue my passion for animal care in 2019. I have since earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behaviour and a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour, Psychology and Training.&nbsp;
I've had many different types of pets over my 26 years, and am well versed in handling and caring for all dogs, cats, birds, rodents and reptiles (even the biiig snakes). 
Though I am new to Pawshake, I am certainly not new to the world of pet sitting. I have gained valuable experience working as a pet sitter and doggy daycare attendant for a local business.
Unfortunately, I currently reside in a small apartment, which means I can't have pets of my own or provide boarding services. Pet sitting allows me to provide the innate love and care I've always had for animals to other people's pets, while also helping owners in need of a reliable and experienced sitter.
In addition, in case of an emergency or necessary medical treatment I am also able to provide

I am available from Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm because I am a student. All day on weekends. Within my services I can administer oral medication to pets and teach them various tricks  Feed the pet as necessary. Pets are kept in hygienic conditions: any dirt is cleaned from the pet and the owner is informed of any signs of illness or injury. The length of my home visits depends on how much the owner needs me, the minimum is half an hour. The duration of the walks is half an hour. In 24-hour housekeeping and in all services I can also water the plants.

Hello, everyone! My friends call me Cady. I am 32 years old and I have just arrived in Australia.&nbsp;
Currently living in Adelaide since middle of January and I would love to work in contact with animals, whether it is taking care of them in their homes, go for a walk, playing with them, etc.
I am full available and flexible with the working hours so I can spend as much as you need with your pets, including overnight sitter. Also I have my own car and I could go to your home, pick up your pet and give it a ride or a walk in some park or place you recommend me :)
Usually I make one hour walks with dogs and I could do it with 2 dogs at once if it's necessary.
Sadly I can't have pets at my home since is not allowed in the apartamet :(
Animals are friends to me, not just pets. They are companions and we have much to learn from the purity of their love.
I would like to be able to adopt an animal but I can't since I have been moving in a lot the last years around diferent countries, which makes it impossible for me :(  But I really miss the contact with them, the caresses, their antics and the warmth they give.

When I’m not studying, I have plenty of free time and I really like dogs and walks - unfortunately my dog is in Italy - so why not taking care of somebody else’s dog or cat?!&nbsp;&nbsp;

As I mentioned, I have a dog – Rocco – back in Italy, he is a mix between an Australian shepherd and a Border collie. I am pretty familiar with dogs and I know how to handle them, groom them and even administer medicine. But I’m not forgetting cats, I used to have one few years ago and I often take care of them for my friends when they are away.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi, my name is chloe and I have an imense passion for working with animals and I approach every animal with love, open mindedness and kindness. I am currently a final year veterinary medicine student. Through my profession and studies I always strive to provide an excellent and compassionate interaction with all veterinary patients. This mentality extends to pawshake clients too. I am able to do home visits and medicate any pets who require it including injectable or oral medications. 
We currently have a mini dachshund who is blind and am open to also working with pets who need an extra bit of help and patience. At this time I unfortunately cannot provide care at our family home as our dog is adjusting to becoming blind due to SARDS and apologise if this causes any inconvenience. However, at a time when we can offer dog sitting again at our house; our family home is securely fenced and is of a large size. We also have a pool however, it is fully closed off so your pet will not be at any risk. 
I would love to offer services such as going to your house to care for your furry friend, or offer them walking. Please do not hesitate to get in contact with me. Please keep in mind I am also a full time veterinary student on final year rotations, so there may be times I am unavailable and apologise for any inconvenience but would love to try work with you and your pup/kitty to find times which work for you!

I've recently moved from Ireland to Australia, which means I unfortunately cannot have my pets with me. I have so much love in me for a pet and I want to give that love to the pets of SA!
I have a BSc degree in Veterinary Nursing and I also grew up on a farm surrounded my animals both large and small. I have had cats, dogs, fish and rabbits as my own pets and I've worked with chickens, turkeys and cows on my farm. In my experience from vet nursing I have worked with snakes, small birds, turtles, iguanas and cats and dogs both big and small breeds.
I have experience working with a lot of different animals in all shapes and sizes and if you choose me as your pet sitter, I will always give 100% to the animal I am caring for. I know just how much people's pets mean to them and I want to make sure that when their favourite people in the world aren't there, I can be there.
I am available to come to your home and stay over night for how ever many days necessary. I am currently working as a traffic controller casually, so I will have to leave for a few hours here and there, but more often than not I have time off that I would happily spend with your pets.
If it's just to walk, fed or spend time with your pets. I can also do some basic chores while I am there such as water plants and collect mail and tidy up after the animals.
As qualified veterinary nurse I can also administer medications orally and via injection.
I can also groom your pets, I don't have grooming equipment myself, but if you do and your pet needs to be bathed or is in need of a good trim, I am delighted to be of service.
