Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Sunshine Coast QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Sunshine Coast QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Sunshine Coast QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Who Am I?
Hello, my name is Sara, I'm 22 and I absolutely adore dogs! I grew up with dogs in my family home and always jump at the opportunity to dog sit for friends or family whenever I can. As an online university student, my schedule is extremely flexible and can be altered to best suit your needs. I am open and excited to help out in any way I can, whether it be short or long-term dog/house sits, weekly walks or plays, occasional trips to appointments or just casual socialisation!
I am currently a secondary carer for a gorgeous Guide Dog puppy in the Guide Dogs Queensland Raiser program. Due to the rigorous nature of the program, I am very comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and can aid in obedience if requested. I hope to continue in this program as a primary Raiser to improve the lives of visually impaired clients with their own Guide Dog.
Experience
I find it so rewarding to look after dogs; I can help them by providing obedience training (tricks, behavioural correction, functional tasks), opportunities for play, basic grooming (brushing, health checks) and lots of cuddles! In return, they are the best companions, get me out of the house for walks and truly brighten my day. I have extensive experience looking after my friends' two Dashchunds, my mum's Schnauzer cross, my dad's Poodle cross and my Lab guide puppy in training. I am comfortable with pet sitting for extended periods of time and love to develop a routine with any dog I look after, no matter the time frame.
Location
I live in Bli Bli, a central neighbourhood with lots of greenery, a dog park close by and backing onto several hiking trails. If your dog is a sucker for a puppachino, there are also lots of cafes within walking distance!
My home has a medium sized yard with grass and plenty of space to run around. It is fully fenced and the gardens are blocked off from the main area.
Services
I really like to customise my services for each client as every dog is different. Walks can go anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on fitness level and what the pup is used to. I can also split walks up into smaller stints spread throughout the day if your dog is more likely to have bursts of energy. If you are comfortable, I would love to take them to the dog park for some socialisation and enrichment play. If you have two pups, I am happy to walk them at the same time.
Due to my flexible schedule, I have full availability and can work around you. I am able to supervise pets 24/7 if necessary, and would only leave them for short periods of time on rare occasions.

Hi! I’m Louise, a trustworthy and caring pet lover based on the Sunshine Coast (Mooloolaba) . I’ve grown up around animals and have hands-on experience caring for horses in France, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to read animal behaviour. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

I’m very active and a passionate runner (former marathon runner), which makes me a great match for energetic dogs. I’m happy to take dogs on long walks or even runs, typically between 30 minutes to over an hour depending on their needs and energy level. I always adapt to each pet’s routine—whether that’s exercise, playtime, or quiet companionship—and I stick carefully to feeding and sleeping schedules.

I have experience caring for pets for friends and family, including feeding, walking, grooming, and giving lots of attention. I’m also comfortable with larger or more energetic animals. I follow instructions carefully and can keep you regularly updated for peace of mind.

I’m calm and attentive in all situations and can handle basic care needs such as administering simple medication and responding responsibly if anything unexpected happens.

For everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home.

I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own—with kindness, patience, and genuine care. I’d love to meet you and your pet!

Hi all,

My 2026 housesitting calendar has an opening from 17 April til 7 May.
I am Wendy, 41 years and like to help others and care for furry friends. I am happy to maintain a house, pool and garden and love spending time with animals. I am a non-smoker and enjoy a quiet and outdoor lifestyle.
I owned my horse for years in the Netherlands and left him to enjoy his retirement, It was a hard choice to leave him behind, but I know he was in good hands for the last journey in his life. I hope to give the same feeling to the owners of the furry friends I will care for. I have experience to look after cats, dogs, horses, fish, rabbits, goats, chooks but other (farm) animals are welcome too!
I had my dog walking and pet minding business in Noosa (Wenders dog walking and pet minding)a few years ago. If u recognise me feel free to shoot me a message
I have been housesitting fulltime for 20 months. I have now settled in the Noosa area and would like to provide my services during holiday seasons and weekends. I have a 8-5 mo-fr job therefore blocked my days during the weekdays. However, if you are ok with your furry friend at home during my work hours feel free to enquire. I have my social life in this area and I know Noosa and the Sunshine Coast very well as I have been in the area now for 6+ years.
I am tidy and you will find the home as you left it. I am used to all kinds of appliances as I have seen most of them by now.
I am flexible and adaptable, easy going with a happy and positive nature.
If you like you can contact and discuss what you'd prefer. I would love to get to know you and the furry friends through a visit in person beforehand. I like to get the approval from the furry friends as well.
I have my week days as unavailable as I work from Monday to Friday. However if you think it would suit your situation and you are located in the Noosa area just shoot a message anyways.

I would love to hear from you.
Ps: I don't have any furry friends that I take with me. The animals in the pictures are all housesit friends.
Cheers,

Wendy

Hi! I'm a passionate animal lover who understands that every dog deserves exercise, attention, and time to get to know them ! Whether your pup loves long walks, exploring new parks, or simply getting out for some fresh air, I'm committed to providing a safe, fun, and enriching experience tailored to their needs.
As an active person, I enjoy staying outdoors and burning off that energy with more energetic dogs while also ensuring older or more relaxed pups are comfortable and cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own, prioritizing their safety, happiness, and well-being at all times. I couldn't think of anything better than getting to hang out with some fur babies & gaining more knowledge & experience along the way with them!
You can expect reliable communication, punctuality, and plenty of updates so you can feel confident your furry friend is in good hands. I am based in Maroochydore & would love to take your dogs for lovely walks around the beach side or even better dog beach's ! Whatever best suits your pup. I am available for up to an hour walk & dog visits to ensure those tails keep on wagging! I'm most experienced with hyper & energetic dogs as well as tame dogs, but if I'm being honest not super experienced with behavioural dogs. I am new to dog sitting (other than friends & family) & am excited to provide safe environments & grow in knowledge and experience on the way!

Hello! My name is Ashleigh. I am a 30 year old female who works full time as a registered nurse. I am a passionate animal lover, living in a small rental which houses my two beloved elderly Guinea pigs and two leafy stick insects. I have always had animals in my life, whether that be in my home or at my friends' places, farms and properties. I was raised partially on a farm with many animals and wildlife around, which required a great deal of TLC! In terms of pet sitting, I have pet sit many times for my friends and family (cats and dogs mainly), but have looked after birds in the past too. Working in the healthcare field can be emotionally exhausting and I take great joy in being outdoors and amongst our beautiful wildlife. Animals are a great gift to us, and will be treated as such!

Hey there! I’m Marianna, your friendly neighborhood pet sitter with a heart as big as my laugh (and trust me, it’s a loud one!). I may be in my 40s, but I’m forever 26 at heart! Originally from the hustle and bustle of city life, I moved to beautiful Australia in 2009 and found my little slice of paradise on the coast in 2020.

When I’m not managing a café during the day (I wrap up around 2 PM) you can find me meditating, doing yoga, or hitting the gym. I’m all about beach walks, delicious food, and the perfect cup of coffee. Not a party animal, I prefer my home to be a cozy sanctuary, and I promise to treat yours with the same love and care.

Animals have always had a special place in my heart, and I’ve been the go-to pet caretaker for my friends. I adore spending time at the dog beach, watching those furry bundles of joy run free and playfully splash around. I’m comfortable with all sizes of dogs, but I’ll be honest—I prefer not to care for puppies. They’re adorable, but they need a bit more guidance, and my mornings are usually busy.

Rest assured, I’m clean, tidy, and have a soft spot for pot plants and good tunes.

As a house sitter, I’m excited about the opportunity to meet new people and their adorable pets! I’ve made the decision not to renew my lease, embracing a bit more freedom in my life. My goal is to find longer house sitting opportunities while I figure out my next adventure.

I pride myself on being reliable and respectful, and I’ll treat your home and fur baby just like my own. After my workday, you can count on me to shower your pets with love, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I absolutely adore taking dogs to the beach, watching them run and frolic in the sun. It’s my happy place, and I can’t wait to share that joy with your furry friends!

I’ve spent most of my time caring for dogs, and I absolutely love it! Back in Germany, I was a proud pet parent to a Great Dane and a Doberman, along with a few cats and birds. Animals have always been a big part of my life.

For years, I took care of my friends' pets, and about a year ago, I decided to make it official by using a pet sitting app. It’s been a wonderful journey, and I’ve enjoyed every moment!

While I’ve had pets stay at my place, I now prefer to care for your furry friends in their own familiar environment. It allows them to feel more comfortable and relaxed while you're away.

I also have a passion for pot plants and basic gardening, so you can rest assured that your green friends will be in safe hands too!

If you’re looking for a trustworthy companion to care for your home and pets while you’re away, I’d love to meet you and your furry friends!
