Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Sunshine Beach QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Sunshine Beach QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Sunshine Beach QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

We are Samantha and Santiago from Uruguay. We both love animals and live our entire lives with them. We will take care of them and give them a lot of love, always respecting their rules regarding them! We enjoy nature and going for walks, we would love to take your pets for a walk!
We came to Australia to live our first experience abroad, that is why taking care of pets gives us the possibility of getting to know different places and people.
We have 4 years of experience in Uruguay as pet sitters. We were in charge of feeding them, walking them and even giving them medication when they needed it.
We have taken care of dogs, cats and birds but we would have no problem taking care of other types of animals such as horses, chickens, etc.
Right now we are living in Noosa Heads
Don't hesitate to contact us and get to know us, you won't regret it!

Dedicated Pet Caregiver with Genuine Animal Love
For as long as I can remember, animals have been an essential part of my life. I’ve always believed that every pet deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved, especially when their owners can’t be there. That belief is my biggest motivation for working in pet care: creating a calm, fun, and genuinely caring environment where pets can follow their routines and feel completely comfortable and understood.

Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbors. I’ve learned to understand their needs, recognize their unique personalities, and adapt to each one of them with patience and attention. I truly enjoy their little quirks, outdoor walks, and playful moments, but I’m also very responsible when it comes to feeding, hygiene, and overall well-being.

My goal is for every pet to feel happy, safe, and cared for, and for you to feel at ease knowing your companion is in good hands. I’m here to offer attentive, respectful, and dedicated care built on trust and genuine affection every single day with heart. Jjjkhjk

Hi! My name is Karla and I’m a veterinarian from Chile currently living on the Gold Coast.Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for many different species through my veterinary training, wildlife work and personal experience with pets. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, calm and loved while their owners are away.I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’m attentive, responsible and comfortable recognising signs of stress or illness thanks to my veterinary background. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime or simply keeping them company, I will care for your pet as if they were my own.I’m currently based in Surfers Paradise and available for pet sitting and home visits. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and provide updates and photos so you can feel relaxed while you’re away.Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

I have always shared a deep connection with animals. I grew up with a Labrador and a guinea pig who were part of our family, which taught me responsibility and attentiveness from a young age.My friends regularly trust me with their pets when they travel. I care for Rubi, an affectionate cat who enjoys brushing and calm companionship, and I walk Leo, a young and beautiful Bichon full of energy, practicing safe leash handling and positive reinforcement.I adapt to different temperaments, from playful dogs to shy pets needing patience. With new animals, I take time to build trust gently, respecting their space and observing their behavior cues. I follow each routine carefully, ensure secure environments, and monitor eating, hydration, and mood. In emergencies, I stay calm, contact the owner immediately, and follow veterinary instructions if needed. I also provide regular updates and photos, ensuring safety, comfort, and reassurance.

I provide reliable, compassionate pet sitting services designed to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. With a strong background in professional animal care and hands-on experience in veterinary and wildlife hospital environments, I am confident caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs.
Every pet is unique, and I take the time to understand their routine, personality, and preferences. Whether your pet requires daily feeding and walks, medication administration, extra reassurance, or simply companionship, I tailor my care to suit them. I am experienced in recognising early signs of stress or illness and always prioritise your pet’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
I pride myself on being dependable, respectful, and attentive—not only to your pets, but also to your home. Regular updates, photos, and clear communication are always provided so you can relax knowing your pets are in caring, capable hands.
I have extensive experience caring for domestic pets including dogs, cats, and small animals, and I am confident with feeding routines, exercise, basic grooming, administering oral and topical medications, and providing attentive day-to-day care tailored to each animal’s needs.
My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, settled, and loved in their own environment, receiving the same level of care and attention I would give my own animals.

️House sitting preferred - I am entirely flexible and can stay for however long️
Hi!
I'm Luka and quite literally everything in my life is centered around animals – whether that be my own kitties, my dad’s dogs or any other animal entering my eyesight.
I do not know what life without pets means and I certainly can't ever imagine living without animals in the future, which is also the reason why my stay here in Australia is becoming a little difficult in some aspects. I am incredibly fascinated by the wildlife and wish to see and experience it as much as possible, but I do miss having a furry friend by my side a lot, which is why I would love helping you whenever you need someone to accompany your pet!
I have never had issues getting along with pets and believe that I can befriend any animal in no time. (You'd think I think I'm a Disney princess.) My goal in life is truly just to spend as much time with animals as I can and one day hopefully own a farm.
I am available pretty much anytime – morning, afternoon, or evening – and am super flexible when it comes to timing. I’d love to offer shorter services like walking your dogs as well as longer services like watching your furfriends when you’re out of town. Anything works for me!
Here’s what I offer:
- Dog walking: Walks usually last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your dog's needs. I love walking in parks, nature areas or calm neighborhoods – always making sure your dog feels safe and gets the right amount of activity.
- Home visits: I’ll spend plenty of time with your pet to feed, cuddle, play or just hang out (typically 30–60 minutes or longer if needed). I'm also happy to water your plants, bring in the mail, or do anything else that helps while you're away – just let me know!
- House sitting: I can absolutely stay at your home while you're away to make sure your pets are comfortable in their usual environment. I take home security seriously – locking up properly, keeping everything in order, and making the place look lived-in (lights, blinds, bins, etc.).
- Medication & grooming: While I’m not a professional groomer or vet, I can help with basic grooming like brushing and bathing if needed, and I’m comfortable administering simple medications as long as instructions are clear.
Since I don’t have a place of my own right now (I’m staying in hostels and hotels while traveling), I unfortunately can’t host animals myself – but I’m more than happy to come to you.
So, whether it’s a walk, a cuddle session, feeding time or overnight care – I’d love to be there for your furry family member. Just send me a message and we’ll work it out together!️

Hey there! I’m Maria, an animal lover from Argentina with years of experience caring for pets of all kinds.
My pet sitting journey began when several family members were away on holidays and needed someone to care for their pets at their homes. I’ve also provided pet sitting services in Townsville, looking after our landlord’s dog during her work trips.
Pet sitting is my passion because I believe every furry friend deserves love, attention, and care, just as I would give to my own. Whether it’s taking your dog for a fun walk, providing feeding and playtime visits, or staying overnight to keep your pets company, I’m here to ensure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, organized, and dedicated to treating your pets and home with the utmost care and respect.
Let’s chat about how I can help!

Hey! My name is Sheryl. I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, growing up surrounded by both cats and dogs. My lifelong experience with pets has given me a deep understanding of their needs, behaviors, and emotions. I am especially skilled in caring for anxious or nervous animals, as my professional background in psychology allows me to recognize stress signals and create a calm, reassuring environment for them.
My top priority is always the well-being, comfort, and safety of the pets I care for. Whether it is providing companionship, ensuring they get enough exercise, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved, I go above and beyond to meet their needs. I understand that every pet is unique, so I tailor my approach to suit their individual personality and preferences.
If you are looking for someone who will treat your pet with kindness, patience, and the utmost care, I would be honored to help.

Hi My name is Santiago, I'm 25 years old and I'm an Argentine/Italian physical education teacher, lover of life in nature, recreation, animals and sports ️
I arrived in Australia at the beginning of 2023, I'm very excited to know this beautiful country, the beaches, the mountains, and everything it has to offer.
I'm currently living in Sunrise Beach!
I'm working a couple days a week in hospitality so I have got a lot of free time during the day. I'm available for few hours a day or an entire day/night/holidays to taking care of your lovely dog. My motivation to be a dog sitter is to try to give the dog a moment of fresh air and a carefree moment about your pet. He or she will be in good hands.
My experience with pets: All my life I loved dogs, I had my dog when I was 3 years old. Her name was Saphena, which, in case you didn't know, is the name of the longest vein in the body. She accompanied me in my life until I was 15 years old. It was a long time and we had a beautiful relationship. I miss her and think of her every time I see a dog enjoying life. That's why I think I'm a very good option to take care of your pet. Because I'm going to treat him or her as if we were good friends
I have experiences taking care of pets of friends and people, the vast majority in a town that I lived in Italy. Many people in the summer used to go to the beach on weekends and that's when they needed me the most.
A few years ago my sister and I adopted a small white puppy that was in very bad shape. We were able to take care of him and rescue him. It was a very nice experience in my life. (He is the puppy that appears with me in the photos)
I'm waiting for your message to get to know each other better! Do no hesitate to contact me!
