Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Sumner QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Sumner QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Sumner QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi everyone!

My name is Danielle. I’m married, have two school-aged kiddos, and work from home, which means your pup will have plenty of company, care, and attention throughout the day. We don’t currently have any pets of our own (other than my sweet “nephew” Larrie — the cutest black lab you’ve ever seen!), so I would absolutely LOVE to welcome your dog into our home and spoil them like family while you’re away.

I’ve always been obsessed with dogs and genuinely enjoy getting to know their unique personalities — whether they’re energetic and playful, cuddly and relaxed, or somewhere in between. We have a large back deck and secure backyard with plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy the sunshine. Bonus points if your dog loves chasing a footy, because that’s one of my favourite things to do with them!

Because I work from home, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and can choose where they feel most comfortable — relaxing in my office while I work, snoozing inside the house, or stretching out on the deck. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, calm, loved, and completely at home.

I’m also a creative person who loves sewing, and I make handmade dog bandanas, so your furry friend will most likely head home with a cute little gift after their stay! You can also purchase them here at sew much love by danielle.

If there is a service you’re after that isn’t currently. listed, please feel free to reach out and ask. I’m always happy to chat and see how I can help.

I can’t wait to meet you and your beautiful pups!
Much love,
Danielle — the best dog aunty your dog could ask for

Hi there! I'm Laura - a university student studying Dental Prosthetics and currently working part time at a dental practice. I'm based in Brisbane and have a flexible schedule, especially on evenings, weekends, and university holidays!

I absolutely love spending time with animals and understand how important it is to have someone reliable and caring looking after your pets when you're away. Whether it's keeping your dog active and happy with regular walks, giving your cat all the cuddles and playtime they love, or simply ensuring your pets stay safe and comfortable at home!

You can count on me to follow any care instructions closely, keep your home tidy, and send you regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I'm mature, calm, and detail oriented, and I take the trust of caring for your pets seriously.

I'd love to meet you and your furry friend for a free meet and greet to see if we're the right fit! Feel free to reach out, I look forward to helping care for your pets like they're my own!

I have always had a strong love for animals, which is what motivates me to offer caring and reliable animal care services. I personally own three dogs, two horses and 17 chickens, yes you read that correctly! I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their animals are safe, comfortable, and receiving the attention they need while they are away. Whether through pet sitting or drop-in visits, my aim is to provide consistent, calm, and compassionate care tailored to each animal’s routine.
I have experience caring for a range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and other pets. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, and maintaining clean living spaces. I also have experience with drop-in visits, which are ideal for pets that prefer staying in their own home. During these visits, I ensure pets are checked on thoroughly and their daily needs are met. I am comfortable administering medication when required and always follow instructions carefully to ensure pets remain healthy and stress-free.
I am attentive, patient, and respectful of each animal’s individual personality and needs. For the safety of all pets in my care, I only accept fully vaccinated animals into my home. Being trusted with someone’s pet is a responsibility I take seriously, and I am committed to providing dependable, loving care at all times.

Hello and welcome!
Growing up on a large property and having all the pets from cats, dogs, cows and horses, I love them all! I have experience with pets of all ages and temperaments, growing up with a poodle x chihuahua and then adopting 2 kelpies when I moved out of home. Now we have our old boy, Milou living his best life in retirement, however my kids still keep him on his toes!
Currently I offer daily walks, and house drop ins, making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am reliable and will treat your pet as if it was my own. Just reach out and let me know what you're after, I'm very flexible and will try my best to suit your needs! I’m attentive to routines and special needs and you can count on me for clear communication, updates, and plenty of affection.
I'm located in Oxley, but willing to travel different areas. Ideally a meet and greet is encouraged beforehand to ensure we're the right fit. I look forward to meeting your fur baby!
