Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Rose Park SA Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Rose Park SA cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Rose Park SA cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi! My name is Priscila, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life—I’ve had them since I was 5 years old, and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am.Recently, I was accepted into a PhD program in Australia, and during this time my husband and I had to make the difficult decision to leave our 1-year-old Shiba Inu, Eevee, in Brazil with my parents, as Australia has very strict pet entry requirements. Because of this, I truly understand how important it is to trust someone to care for your pet as if they were family. When we adopted Eevee, we invested a lot of time learning about dog health, behavior, training, and daily needs. I bring that same level of care and attention to every pet I look after. What I offer: Dog boarding & daycare in a safe, calm home environmentDaily walks (typically 30–60 minutes depending on the dog’s energy level and needs)Structured routine, including feeding, playtime, rest, and enrichment activitiesConstant supervision when pets are in my careRegular updates with photos and messages, so you always know how your pet is doingA typical dayYour dog will enjoy a balanced routine with walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of rest. I adapt the schedule to match your pet’s usual habits as closely as possible, so they feel comfortable and secure.Safety & comfortClean, pet-friendly home with secure spacesNo overcrowding — I prioritize quality care and attentionCareful introductions if there are multiple petsClose monitoring of behavior, appetite, and wellbeingIn case of emergencies I stay attentive to any changes in behavior or health. If anything unusual happens, I will contact you immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the nearest vet. I always follow your instructions and preferences regarding care.

Hi, I’m Zaina!
I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for them has always felt natural to me. Since moving to Australia with my husband, I’ve been offering pet care services to help local families feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and genuinely cared for.
Services I offer:

Dog Walking (calm, structured walks suited to your dog’s pace and personality)
Home Visits / Drop-ins (feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, litter cleaning, and companionship)
Pet Sitting & Boarding (a warm, safe, relaxed environment with lots of attention)

My experience & approach:
I’m comfortable with small to large dogs, energetic pups, seniors, and pets that need a little extra patience. I’m also confident supporting dogs who are shy, anxious, or reactive — I keep things calm, give them space when needed, and follow your handling instructions carefully.
If your pet needs it, I’m happy to administer basic medication (e.g., oral meds or topical treatments) exactly as instructed.
What you can expect when booking with me:
Regular photo/video updates
Reliable communication & flexible scheduling
️ Lots of love, cuddles, and genuine attention
Respect for your home and your pet’s routine
I’m always happy to organise a quick meet & greet first so you feel totally comfortable. Message me anytime — I’d love to meet you and your furry one!

Hi! I'm a reliable, caring, and passionate pet sitter who treats every pet like they're part of my own family. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your furry family members, so I'll keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout my visits. My goal is to ensure your pets stay happy, healthy, and stress-free, while you can relax knowing they're in safe and loving hands.

My care includes:

 Feeding and refreshing water
 Dog walks and outdoor exercise
 Playtime and mental stimulation
Cuddles, companionship, and lots of affection
Toilet breaks and keeping to their usual routine
Regular photo and video updates for your peace of mind
Cleaning up after pets, including litter trays and accidents

How Much Time I Spend
I believe pets deserve more than just a quick check-in. During house visits, I spend quality one-on-one time with your pet, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, enrichment, and care—not just the essentials. For overnight stays, your pet will enjoy companionship throughout the evening, overnight, and morning, helping them feel safe and relaxed while you're away.
My Home Setup
If your pet stays with me, they'll be welcomed into a clean, safe, and pet-friendly home where they'll be treated like part of the family. They'll have plenty of space to relax, play, and receive lots of attention throughout the day. I keep a calm environment, follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure.
I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful pets!

I'm excited to introduce myself as a dedicated and enthusiastic pet and plants sitter. My name is Tami, and I have a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up with pets of various breeds and sizes has given me valuable experience and insight into their needs and behaviors. Hi, my name is Ruth - I am a dual citizen (Australia & British) and I teach piano a few hours a week down south of Adelaide and the rest of the time I home school my 16 year old. I love pottery and walking - and I miss my dog Hamish so I love to borrow other people's pets! I am a non-smoker and rarely drink, as I have a strong focus on healthy living.I enjoy living in a clean and tidy space, and I value the places I have been able to call my temporary home. I will treat your home and belongings with respect, just as I would like to be treated by others (universal law).I understand very well that different pets have different needs, and I will maintain the daily routine of your pets as much as I can while I care for them, and am comfortable administering medications where necessary.Walking in nature is one of my favourite things. My child only spends 50% of the time with me, but for that reason I would need two bedroomed accomodation. Ace my son loves cats (has two of his own at dad's house) and very keen on ice skating. We used to live in the Eco Village in Aldinga and now being nearer Adelaide city is more convenient for us now that Ace has discovered his ice skating passion.I love gardening and animals, and I like to spend my time meditating, doing yoga, reading, messing around on my acoustic guitar and cuddling animals. I have owned my own house both in the UK (twice) and here in Adelaide (once) and I've had many rentals. I have an abundance of good references and have been asked back to the same places to housesit multiple times. I have an Australian National Character Check which includes police check.I would be more than happy to provide frequent updates on both plants and pets if you would be keen. You can travel in confidence knowing that your plants and house are in reliable, safe and capable hands.I'm happy to come and have a chat if you would like to meet me and our dates line up.

Hi,
My name is Beatriz, and I'm a Brazilian student currently residing in Adelaide. I have a deep love for pets and miss having them around since I arrived in Australia. I am eager to spend quality time with your furry companions and provide them with the best care possible while you're away.
I am a thoughtful and caring individual who enjoys staying home, playing with pets, going on walks, exploring, reading, and learning new things. Animals hold a special place in my heart! Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of having a dog for over 15 years, as well as 4 hamsters, 2 cats and lots of fish. I've even cared for a guinea pig and, believe it or not, a snake (when it was just a little one, haha)!
Spending time with animals brings me great joy. I love getting to know their unique personalities and doing everything I can to make their day a wonderful one. I am truly excited to meet you and your furry family members.
I'm available to provide pet sitting and dog walking services. I'm usually available all day on Mondays and in the afternoons on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I offer services like dog walking, home visits, playtime, and feeding. If your pet knows some tricks, I can help with that too! However, please note that I don't administer medication or offer training or grooming services.
During home visits, I'm very flexible with time, and we can discuss the duration of the visit based on your needs. For dog walking, I typically walk close to the owner's house and make walks of a maximum of 1 hour.
If you need any further information about me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
