Hi parents! I'm Denice, an experienced and passionate animal lover with a strong background in dog care. I have spent years caring for dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they receive the love, exercise, and attention they need.

I currently have a 30-kilogram mixed-breed dog back home in Taiwan (as shown on my profile) and have previously lived with and cared for a 10-year-old Maltese, two 20+ kilogram Blue Heelers in Australia, and a 25-kilogram Poodle-Bernese mix in the US. These experiences have made me comfortable handling different energy levels, personalities, and walking habits. Throughout my career as an occasional pet sitter, I have had nearly 10 different appointments and all ended up with an absolute perfect feedback! Since I'm new to Pawshake, feel free to chat with me to learn more about my past feedback for your reassurance. 

I take pride in being responsible, patient, and attentive to each dog's unique needs. Whether it's a fun walk, playtime, or just some extra love and companionship, your furry friend will be in safe hands! I'm flexible with walking length, usually around 30-60 minutes, twice a day. I love spending time during the day playing with the pups, or even just casually having them by my side/on my laps while I do my stuff and they take their naps. 

I always ensure to make time for a meet and greet prior to the booking dates, so the owners get to know me, I get to know the pups and their habits/routines/house rules etc. just to ensure everything turns out nice and smooth. I send heaps of photos throughout the day as constant update, so you never need to worry about "how's my pup doing? " because the updates will reach your chat  without request! As a regular pet sitter for overnight care, I make sure the house is left clean and tidy, exactly as what it looked like before I came - or even better! Couch will be neatly arranged, blankets folded, bed made, bin taken out, and surfaces wiped. To be fair, nobody really enjoys the feeling of strangers' traces at home - that's why I minimise this worry for you while taking amazing care for your loved pups.

Hey I am Yas! I’m a reliable and caring animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with pets. After moving interstate into an apartment where I can’t have my own animal, pet sitting has become a meaningful way for me to stay connected to animals.

I have previously looked after a friend’s cat for four months while they were away, taking care of daily routines including preparing food, refreshing water, keeping the litter area clean, spending quality time playing, and giving plenty of cuddles. I also administered medication when required and am comfortable following clear instructions to ensure everything is done safely and on schedule.

Having had my own pet (a lovely dog named Bailey) in the past, I know how much trust it takes to leave your animal in someone else’s care. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s personality and needs. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet sitting is as much about letting someone trustworthy into your home, someone who will respect your place and possessions, as it is about taking proper care of your much loved pet. I am sincere about caring for your pet, will follow instructions closely and enjoy having him/her as company.  I enjoy the company of pets and I like to give dogs a proper walk. I am formerly a dog owner but don't currently have a dog or cat. My dog passed away a few years ago and I have been living overseas since.  I returned to Canberra recently to take up residence here again.  I'm not the type to invite people over or have parties, and am happy to keep the garden in check if requested.
My major is in biology, then I switched career to university teaching. I periodically work with animals on a farm in Hall, and have professional references available from work if requested. I have 9 months petsitting experience during covid, caring for two cats, and did a lot of petsitting for an elderly couple in O'Connor some years ago (Poodle from a refuge- it needed some love and training).  I have from time to time looked after pets for friends, walking them regularly and preparing specific foods (often cooked) as requested.

Having always grown up with animals around in my family, and an (unrealised) childhood dream of becoming a vet, I love any opportunity to care for pets. While I don’t have one myself at the moment, I come from a family of both dog and cat lovers (you don’t have to love only one of them!) and have experience training my family dog up from a young kelpie puppy to a well-trained adult dog. 
Overall, I have plenty experience caring for and walking dogs, although I have minimal experience doing this as a ‘job’. As I don't have a dog right now, due to living arrangements, I would love the chance to walk and care for other dogs.

Hi I'm Alexandra! I'm originally from Melbourne and am currently studying law and commerce at ANU. I have spent my entire life surrounding by animals, especially dogs, chickens and horses. I have experience looking after dogs, chickens, cats and horses of family and friends when they have been away. However, most of my experience comes from my responsibilities at home. I have grown up on acreage and care for 5 horses and a dog at home. I absolutely adore my pets and love to spoil them with treats and cuddles. I would bring the same level of care to looking after your pets as I do to my own animals - I know what it's like to be the owner stressing about your pet while you're away! 
I would love to join your dog in discovering new areas and walking routes around your home to keep them interested and happy on their dog walks. I know every dog has different energy levels and so I am always happy to discuss how long your dog wants to walk for whether this is 30 minutes or an hour. 
When pet sitting I would give them the same love and attention as I would my own pets. I'm not the kind a person who simply feeds the dogs and then ignores them. I love giving them pats and cuddles as much as they love receiving them! I have handled shy dogs and boisterous ones and I know that they often need different levels of care and attention depending on their personalities. I would love to get to know them before my first session in order to give them the best care possible. Plus I'm always happy to send pictures and updates to keep your mind as ease while you are away!

As an owner of a nervous and reactive kelpie, I have had extensive experience with caring for and training dogs with mental health issues. I feel particularly passionate about such animals as they deserve as much care and tenderness as any other 'easier' pet.
