My partner, Catherine, and I are Puppy Pals, and together we provide dog boarding and dog walking services. I've had dogs for most of my life, but we currently do not have any pets. I had three chihuahuas most recently (Nesse, Tweet &amp; Rex), but love all breeds. Catherine, who most recently had a blue heeler x (Harley), is also dog obsessed.&nbsp;

Dog walking:
We are both experienced dog walkers, as longtime pet owners and experienced pet sitters. We offer 30 to 40-minute dog walks in Weston Creek, Molonglo Valley and parts of the Woden Valley area. We aim to provide a reliable, quality service, while being as flexible as possible.
Happy to discuss your dog's needs and make adjustments as needed. Please note, equipment such as a leash/harness, collar, &amp; dog waste bags must be supplied.

Dog boarding:
We are not currently taking new clients for dog boarding as we are now focussing on dog walking.
When dog boarding, we take the dogs for a 30-minute walk twice a day (morning and afternoon), depending on the needs of the dog and the owner's guidelines. On weekends we often go to a nature reserve for a longer walk. For safety reasons we will always walk your dog on a leash.
We are experienced with anxious dogs and do our best to settle them in and help them feel at home. Our home is best suited to small and medium dogs who will be happy sleeping inside and spending their time indoors with us, with regular access to the small outdoor space. We take your specific requirements very seriously, whether they are related to diet, medication, walks or sleeping arrangements, so please let us know of any. We do daily photo updates, but please message us at any time you would like an udpate on your how your dog is going.



I am a retired police woman recently relocated to Canberra from Victoria.&nbsp;
I love dogs more than people and also have a soft spot for cats, rabbits and guinea pigs but I am open to looking after most animals. I have two large dogs of my own and have previously had cats, rabbits and fish. I am married and have been with my husband for over twenty years. We do not have children; our dogs are our furbabies.&nbsp;
I am unable to care for pets in my home as my two pooches would not appreciate it! I am very active and love walking, my two dogs are out for at least an hour a day.&nbsp;
I can handle dogs of any size, as my two are a large American staffy cross bulldog and a dingo cross kelpie, and they never seem to want to walk in the same direction.&nbsp;
Two of my dogs have been rescue animals and I have experience working with reactive dogs and believe I have a great understanding of dog behaviours.&nbsp;

I am very much so, an animal lover, whether it's a big dog or small, kitty cat, reptile, rodent or even those unique friends we hold close to our hearts, (talking to you spider and scorpion owners!) As pets light up our life I want to make sure when you're away they get the love they deserve!I have had 2 dogs at once which I walked, washed and played with everyday! There names were Yoda, the Frenchie/Wise One and Duke, the Cavazoo/King Of Wafflton. I have a Central Bearded Dragon named Tigger, who I am fully responsible for, from feeding, washing, cleaning her enclosure, and buying her food. Let's not forget all those fun adventures I have with her in our apartment's courtyard and the costumes I create for her! My brother owns 2 very cute rats, Lily and Bicky, when he is away I care for them and give them very yummy and nutritious meals. I also have more experience then most reptile owners as I have volunteered at Canberra Reptile Zoo in Nicholls, earning me Costumer Services skills and key reptilian knowledge. I also had to learn a lot of random facts to tell the parties of little kids.If you can't tell already I have a passion for pets, learning as much about them and treating them perfectly. I want to walk your pets as I absolutely love exploring new paths, (metaphorically and literally,) making the most of the day and I know the best doggy lakes, dog parks and relaxing routes for your furry friend! As I am experienced in pet care from my family, I am ready to visit your pet everyday when you are away. I can easily treat your pet with respect, care and make sure you don't have to worry when you're on holiday.

I’m Carmen, a qualified vet from Argentina, currently working as a vet nurse at a veterinary clinic in Townsville while I prepare to have my veterinary qualification recognised in Australia.

Outside the clinic, I truly enjoy caring for dogs and cats and providing them with all the love, attention, and care they deserve. I’m supported by my partner, Leandro, who is also a qualified veterinarian and works at a different clinic. We’ve been living in Australia for the past two years, and pet sitting has always been part of our spare time alongside our clinical work.

I am in my early 40's and an avid dog lover (completely dog obsessed). I have over five years' experience as a volunteer dog walker and have been lucky to have my own fur babies for a decade. At present, I have one gorgeous dog who is very dog and people friendly.&nbsp;
I am confident at walking, visiting and pet sitting dogs of any size and temperament. They're all beautiful to me!  I am able to feed, administer oral medication and take care of any other needs your fur baby may have. I am an animal lover who is absolutely dog obsessed; I am the type of person that needs to say hi and pat all of the dogs I pass by on the street. 
Since a young age I have always had a dog and other pets in my life before moving to Australia and since I unfortunately don't have any pets of my own at this moment I love to spend time with other people's pets. 
Despite being new to Pawshake I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 8 years. With all of this experience I have gained the skills to adapt to each animals individual needs to ensure that they feel safe and loved during their times with me.
