Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Northfield SA Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Northfield SA cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Northfield SA cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

My name is Patricia and I had a dog called Scott. He lived for 17 years with me. He was my partner, my best friend and my baby. I also had a disabled cat, called Gato. I adopted him and gave him a live of love, care and security while he had FeLV. He lived with me for almost 2 years. They made me fall in love with animals, so I opened my business in Brazil to work with them and I loved it, working as a pet sitter, dog walker and dog trainer for almost 5 years. During those years, I took courses about behavior, education, and canine communication and language. I worked with dogs of different temperaments and all ages. I use positive reinforcement — a science-based method that rewards good behavior instead of punishing unwanted actions. This approach helps build trust and makes pets feel more comfortable and happy. Now I'm here, in Adelaide, to improve my English for while, and to learn more about animals, animal behaviour and dog training. With almost 5 years of experience in Brazil, I offer my dog walking and pet sitting services here.Walks are good for dogs because they allow them to see the world outside their home, make friends with other dogs and people, play and explore the world. In pet sitting services, I always interact, play, and give affection when they allow it. The visits include cleaning the pet's area, including the litter box, feeder, and waterer. I like to take lots of pictures of animals to show how well your pet is being cared for. If you’re looking for someone reliable and caring to look after your beloved pet while you’re away, please feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to help!

I'm excited to introduce myself as a dedicated and enthusiastic pet and plants sitter. My name is Tami, and I have a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up with pets of various breeds and sizes has given me valuable experience and insight into their needs and behaviors. I truly understand the importance of providing pets with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while their owners are away.
My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my love for animals and my desire to ensure that every pet receives the attention and care they deserve. I am committed to offering personalized care tailored to each pet’s unique requirements. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or medication administration, I take pride in ensuring that every aspect of their routine is maintained.
I have previous experience in pet sitting, having cared for dogs, cats, ferre and Guinea pigs. I prioritize the well-being of all pets and require that they are up-to-date with vaccinations to ensure a healthy environment for all. I look forward to the opportunity to provide exceptional care for your beloved pets.

Hello! My name is Shannon. Back in 2018 I had experience with pet sitting as I used to travel to locations all over Adelaide with a friend to look after fur babies (can't help but call them that). It's been too long since I have had the chance to get back into it. And I finally have a decent amount of time to dedicate to being a pet sitter.
My motivation stems from a genuine love for animals, adoring all types. Cats in particular have my heart, they're the sweetest and I've never had a negative experience with a cat or a dog. Growing up I had a few cats which I still really miss.
Most of my experience is with small to medium dogs, and one Great Dane! And many cats.
Im willing to do drop bys to make sure the animals are fed, played with and walked, I'm also wanting to do overnight stays, as I love the responsibilities that come with looking after a pet. Making sure they have someone there, especially when I've built up the trust. I'd have one myself but I just can't financially justify that yet! So the privilege of taking care of a pet and giving you as an owner the peace of mind, that they are safe and happy (will always send pictures) is fulfilling enough.
I have a lot of spare time, and all the attention in the world to give to your pets. I'm always 15-30 minutes early once a schedule has been set, as it can give me time to get to know both you and your pet. I'm so keen to learn the different personalities that come with any breed.

A dedicated and compassionate pet sitter, I provide personalized care to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. With experience handling a variety of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals, I adapt to each pet’s unique personality and needs. My services include feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing ample playtime and cuddles. I prioritize maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize stress and keep them comfortable.

Happy to do any general yard maintenance required or feed other pets (birds, rabbits, etc). Work during the day (excluding weekends) so will walk, feed and care for your pets in the morning and afternoon. Happy to accommodate any other services that may need doing such as lawns.

Whether it’s a short day visit or an extended stay, I treat your pets like family, ensuring their well-being is my top priority. I am reliable, punctual, and communicative, offering regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Your home is treated with the utmost respect and care during my visits. Trust me to provide the loving attention and reliable care your furry (or feathered) friends deserve.

Look forward to meeting you and your loved ones soon.

I have been a dog parent for years and completely understand the importance of a pet in an owner's life. Pets only understand the language of love and I have seen it when I was petting my own or was baby sitting my friends' or neighbours' pets.
Though coming from an IT background, I realized it at the age of 40, what my real passion was. I want to spend time and get and give unconditional love from these species who communicate loud without words. A family who's passionate for dogs, we all are looking forward to welcome your fur baby with open arms. For the comfort of the pet, I am absolutely fine visiting the owner's home. My home is equipped with a gated backyard providing enough space for the pet to walk around and at the same time have open parks in less than 100meters range to go for long walks.
Dogs need space and it's best for them to run and develop their muscle strength. I am happy and comfortable to take them to leash walks in nearby parks and have them interact with their friends. While it's fun to play with them, but it's equally important to get them to a routine of play, eat and sleep. I believe in working with the owners to understand their patterns and likes/dislikes so they can be taken care of well. In totality, I have about 3-4 years of experience living and loving pets, but that has changed my overall perspective towards life and humanity in general.
Bringing up pets, make you more human and loving as an individual.
I look forward to spending fun filled time and loving time with your baby.

Hi there! I'm Vanina, from Argentina, I'm 34 years old.I always had pets, my first puppy was a cocker spaniel named Lara, then Melody arrived, another super loving cocker spaniel and later Lissy arrived, a playful and affectionate poodle who is 11 years old. When I moved I couldn't take her with me but I enjoy the weekends to be with her.I worked for many years in an insurance company, which I left behind to come to Australia.I traveled a large part of Argentina and also visited other countries such as Brasil, Panama, Mexico, the United States,Spain and France. Australia represents My first destination so far from home, which excites me a lot since I like to know different landscapes, cultures and people.I want to bring you security that your pets are going to be healthy and happy because I know that they are not just pets but that they are companions in your life. I have experience in caring for homes and pets.I was housesitting in Adelaide for 8 months, and it was an extraordinary experience. I'm willing to learn about the care and needs of any pet that lives with you.

We are a caring and responsible couple with pet sitting experience in Argentina, New Zealand and Australia. During every stay, we follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime and plenty of affection. We rarely leave pets alone for more than 3–4 hours and always make sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved. We are comfortable giving oral medication when needed, following owners’ instructions carefully. If an emergency occurs, we contact the owner immediately and take the pet to the nearest veterinarian if required. We adapt to every pet’s personality, whether they are energetic, shy, puppies or senior pets needing extra patience. We keep homes clean and respect every owner’s rules. Every day we send photos and updates, so owners always know their pets are happy and well cared for. We treat every animal like part of our own family with love, patience and respect.
