Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Melbourne VIC Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Melbourne VIC cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Melbourne VIC cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

My name is Paulo Dimas, I am a former pet owner of both Dog and Cat overseas, unfortunatelly both past away before I come to Australia. I am currently living in Melbourne for the past 3 years working as a Barista.
My experience is mainly helping close friends upon request but I would love to have the opportunity to look after your loved one when you need it the most.
I will take one booking at a time because I don't want to get a lot of pets to care, I want to dedicate to a few pets and create a meaningful connection with them to make a difference in the people's quality of life by looking after the ones they care the most.
I am available very early in the morning or late afternoon, all evenings free, weekends free as well. I can take care within home or outside, either cats or dogs. I mainly like Royal Park and Princes Park because of its size and location. I may easily adapt the walk to wherever is more convenient to the pet and its owner. From half an hour or more we can walk and play around, spend some time and energy or just chill and do what dogs do...
I can also water plants, bring mail, top up food and water, report with picture and even sleep in if necessary, it can all be adapted to the owners and pets needs! I am flexible and easy to adjust and adapt to the circunstance. I know that sometimes you just need one time total attention or just a random walk, maybe a constant and repetitive service, I am all in! Sharing is caring and I look forward to share my free time to look after your loved one or two, maybe three!

I’m a dedicated pet lover with over six years of experience caring for my own cat and helping friends with their pets, including two beautiful Ragdoll cats. I understand that every pet has unique needs and feel most comfortable when cared for according to their routine. My priority is ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
Living in Melbourne CBD, I offer convenience for pet owners nearby. I’m attentive, patient, and will ensure your furry friends are well-fed, entertained, and given the affection they deserve. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or simply providing company, I’m here to help.
I also prioritize safety, so I kindly request that all pets are vaccinated. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I’m happy to accommodate any special requests. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I’d love to meet your furry family.

I am an international student from the University of Melbourne. I love pets very much so I would love to spend time with animals, it would make me very happy so I want to be a pet sitter! I have two dogs and a cat in my home country: an eight-year-old Teddy, a two-year-old Border Collie, and a three-year-old British Shorthair. Additionally, I used to work part-time at a pet studio, where my job was to take care of many dogs and cats. I have a lot of experience with pets and really like animals. I am familiar with how to keep pets happy and dispose of their feces. I live near the Queen Victoria Market. For dog walking, I can take the pets to University Square, Lincoln Square, and Flagstaff Gardens. I only want to take vaccinated pets into my home. Please feel free to leave your pet with me!

Hello, I'm Michael, but you can call me Mike. Currently studying at William Angliss Institute, I've been missing my beloved pet dearly since my arrival here. Interacting with other dogs brings back fond memories of my faithful companion back home, Bernard, a 7-year-old Siberian Husky. Dogs, to me, embody the true essence of companionship; they're undeniably man's best friend. I'm committed to ensuring Bernard's happiness each day, providing him with the utmost care and food. Despite the physical distance, our bond remains unwavering, and I eagerly anticipate our reunion. With my active involvement in sports, rest assured that your dogs will always be satisfied every single time. Petting dogs here fills me with immense joy, serving as a constant reminder of the love and companionship they offer, enriching every single moment of my day.
