Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Malvern SA Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Malvern SA cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Malvern SA cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hey I'm Grace!
I'm a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mum to Murphy (or Murph for short), my beautiful but cheeky 5 year old Sheepadoodle. Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits and Guinea pigs has given me a genuine understanding of how important pets are as members of the family.
Over the past few years, I've regularly cared for and walked dogs for friends and family, with experience looking after a wide range of breeds, from tiny Chihuahuas to energetic Border Collies. I'm comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities and exercise needs, and I will always aim to make walks safe, fun and tailored to your dog.
I offer dog walking and can be flexible to suit your dog's age, energy level and routine (30-60mins). As well as drop in visits to feed, freshen water, offer toilet breaks, playtime and plenty of cuddles while you're away.
I'm available from 3:30pm on weekdays, with much more flexibility on weekends and during school holidays. As a reliable and caring person who works in a school setting, I understand the importance of trust, communication and consistency.
I'd love the opportunity to get to know you and your furry friend and provide the same love and care I'd want for Murph. If you think we'd be a good fit, please feel free to reach out! :)

I believe pets deserve more than just a quick check-in. Hi, my name is Ruth - I am a dual citizen (Australia & British) and I teach piano a few hours a week down south of Adelaide and the rest of the time I home school my 16 year old. I love pottery and walking - and I miss my dog Hamish so I love to borrow other people's pets! I am a non-smoker and rarely drink, as I have a strong focus on healthy living.I enjoy living in a clean and tidy space, and I value the places I have been able to call my temporary home. I will treat your home and belongings with respect, just as I would like to be treated by others (universal law).I understand very well that different pets have different needs, and I will maintain the daily routine of your pets as much as I can while I care for them, and am comfortable administering medications where necessary.Walking in nature is one of my favourite things. My child only spends 50% of the time with me, but for that reason I would need two bedroomed accomodation. Ace my son loves cats (has two of his own at dad's house) and very keen on ice skating. We used to live in the Eco Village in Aldinga and now being nearer Adelaide city is more convenient for us now that Ace has discovered his ice skating passion.I love gardening and animals, and I like to spend my time meditating, doing yoga, reading, messing around on my acoustic guitar and cuddling animals. I have owned my own house both in the UK (twice) and here in Adelaide (once) and I've had many rentals. I have an abundance of good references and have been asked back to the same places to housesit multiple times. I have an Australian National Character Check which includes police check.I would be more than happy to provide frequent updates on both plants and pets if you would be keen. You can travel in confidence knowing that your plants and house are in reliable, safe and capable hands.I'm happy to come and have a chat if you would like to meet me and our dates line up.

Hi! My name is Rafaela, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a warm heart and a calm, caring nature. I grew up surrounded by pets and have always felt a deep connection with animals. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for a variety of dogs—from Kititinha, our energetic little Pinscher, to Bob, our protective and loyal German Shepherd, and Niki, the sweetest Yorkshire Terrier. Today, I share my home with Bella, my adorable 1 year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who brings joy to every day.

My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from the love I have for animals and the understanding that pets are family. I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for them while you’re away. I offer a safe, affectionate, and attentive environment, always respecting each pet’s personality and routine. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or special care, your pet will be treated with love and respect—just like my own.

Hi,
My name is Beatriz, and I'm a Brazilian student currently residing in Adelaide. I have a deep love for pets and miss having them around since I arrived in Australia. I am eager to spend quality time with your furry companions and provide them with the best care possible while you're away.
I am a thoughtful and caring individual who enjoys staying home, playing with pets, going on walks, exploring, reading, and learning new things. Animals hold a special place in my heart! Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of having a dog for over 15 years, as well as 4 hamsters, 2 cats and lots of fish. I've even cared for a guinea pig and, believe it or not, a snake (when it was just a little one, haha)!
Spending time with animals brings me great joy. I love getting to know their unique personalities and doing everything I can to make their day a wonderful one. I am truly excited to meet you and your furry family members.
I'm available to provide pet sitting and dog walking services. I'm usually available all day on Mondays and in the afternoons on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I offer services like dog walking, home visits, playtime, and feeding. If your pet knows some tricks, I can help with that too! However, please note that I don't administer medication or offer training or grooming services.
During home visits, I'm very flexible with time, and we can discuss the duration of the visit based on your needs. For dog walking, I typically walk close to the owner's house and make walks of a maximum of 1 hour.
If you need any further information about me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Only available for night walks - 6pm to 22pm any day.
I have recently moved to Australia. I lived in Brazil my entire life and I used to work at the office but eventually, I also liked to pick up some dog walking and dog sitting jobs. I always enjoyed it when my friends asked me to take care of their pets.
I worked with a similar platform/app in Brazilt.
In Brazil, when I lived with my mum, we had a Pug called Chopp, and when I moved, I needed to leave him with her.
I know how much care we need to take with our pets and I know how different dogs could have different behaviour and necessities, so I am a patient and calm person to deal with the situations in which we could be involved.
I live in a small rented house with my wife, so we can't offer pet sitting, but I can offer different services like house visits to do everything that your pet needs, including playing, feeding and cleaning the pet area. I can do short or long walks, depending on your dog necessities and I can go to specific places like parks, according to your request.

Lover of the countryside and its beautiful complements, responsible, honest and bold. Raised in the countryside where I lived many adventures with my faithful 2 and 4 legged companions, those that always surrounded me and that even when I come back home do not cease to surprise me with their crazy things. May life allow me to always surround myself with amazing animals to help them and give them lots of love!
I currently do daily chores with 11 chickens, 2 cats and a dog, tasks ranging from their personal care to the maintenance of their resting and resting places, I go to the smallest detail to make them feel comfortable and happy, I love what I do.
Caring for animals is not a profession, it is a passion that moves us like music and art, I will always be willing to give the best of me to all the animals in the world.
In my house everyone is welcome with or without vaccination.
