Being a dog owner to my two beautiful girls Roxy (Kelpie x Blue Heeler) and Mila (German Shepherd) I understand the importance of loving and care a dog needs even when the owner is away and or busy!
I provide house sitting, home visits and walks! There is a doggie park on the same street as my home (Glenunga Dog Park) where beautifully natures dogs go there to play! I have taken care of him since he was a puppy, it was love at first sight.I taught him not to pee inside the house and how to manner when people is around.I always woke up in the morning and took him out for a walk, I like to do exercise so I took him out every day to run and play in the park.

I am currently doing a double degree in animal science and animal behaviour and have loved animals my whole life. I grew up having many pets in my home back in Singapore. In my lifetime I've had fish, terrapins, rabbits, hamsters, fancy rats and now have a 14 year old maltipoo. I've also worked and volunteered at Mandai Wildlife Reserve for many years and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Singapore for 1 year and 4 months. 
At the SPCA I was in charge of the adoption gallery area which is the area right before the animals go to their forever homes. At the SPCA, I took care of hamsters, gerbils, Guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, cats and dogs. My daily routine was to clean the animals cages in the morning, prepare their meals each day, provide them with enrichment via toys, walks, exercise time and interactions with other dogs or cats. I was also very heavily involved in doing adoptions for the animals and had to handle the animals for the potential adopters to interact with, which sadly included aggressive and traumatised animals.

If you want me to visit your home, I will feed your beloved pet, clean your kitty's litter trays, and ensure your furry friend has fresh, clean, water. I'm a student currently doing my masters at the University of Adelaide. Raised a lot of pets, mostly cats and dogs. I have a cat back home, and my life revolved around him. I am currently a 3rd year vet student, that graduated with a diploma in veterinary nursing, and worked in several veterinary clinics in Singapore before choosing to further my studies in Australia. I was responsible for the care of my adopted dog back home, which unfortunately passed away 2 years ago. I would however love to extend the same care and compassion to other pets.&nbsp;
Other than earning an income to support myself as I work and study, it would be awesome to be able to work while doing something I love!
With the basics I have learned in the veterinary nursing course - such as basic animal care and grooming, skills ive practiced on the job in clinics such as ear cleaning and showering, I believe that I would be able to be of help in making your pet feel comfortable, should they be away from their owners. A bit of background on me: After driving my parents crazy by constantly showing up at home with a new animal in need of a loving home, I decided to make the move from South Africa to Adelaide to pursue my passion for animal care in 2019. I have since earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behaviour and a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour, Psychology and Training.&nbsp;
I've had many different types of pets over my 26 years, and am well versed in handling and caring for all dogs, cats, birds, rodents and reptiles (even the biiig snakes). 
Though I am new to Pawshake, I am certainly not new to the world of pet sitting. I have gained valuable experience working as a pet sitter and doggy daycare attendant for a local business.
Unfortunately, I currently reside in a small apartment, which means I can't have pets of my own or provide boarding services. Pet sitting allows me to provide the innate love and care I've always had for animals to other people's pets, while also helping owners in need of a reliable and experienced sitter.

Hi, my name is chloe and I have an imense passion for working with animals and I approach every animal with love, open mindedness and kindness. I am currently a final year veterinary medicine student. Through my profession and studies I always strive to provide an excellent and compassionate interaction with all veterinary patients. This mentality extends to pawshake clients too. I am able to do home visits and medicate any pets who require it including injectable or oral medications. 
We currently have a mini dachshund who is blind and am open to also working with pets who need an extra bit of help and patience. At this time I unfortunately cannot provide care at our family home as our dog is adjusting to becoming blind due to SARDS and apologise if this causes any inconvenience. However, at a time when we can offer dog sitting again at our house; our family home is securely fenced and is of a large size. We also have a pool however, it is fully closed off so your pet will not be at any risk. 
I would love to offer services such as going to your house to care for your furry friend, or offer them walking. Please do not hesitate to get in contact with me. Please keep in mind I am also a full time veterinary student on final year rotations, so there may be times I am unavailable and apologise for any inconvenience but would love to try work with you and your pup/kitty to find times which work for you!
