I’ve also fostered greyhounds straight out of their racing careers, supporting them as they transitioned into calm, loving family pets. Through this experience, I’ve gained confidence working with reactive and sensitive dogs using patient, consistent training.
Your dog’s safety is always my priority. I practise proactive walking by creating space from other dogs when needed, because while I trust the dog in my care, I can’t always predict others. This helps ensure calm, positive outings every time.
Whether you’re unwell, away from home, managing a busy period, or simply need an extra helping hand, I’m here to support you and your pet. I also offer home visits for feeding, companionship, and check-ins to ensure your dog or cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in your absence.&nbsp;


Hi, I’m Kane! I’ve always had a strong connection with animals, and I know how important it is for them to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away. That’s why I focus on caring for pets in their own homes — so they can stay in a familiar environment with their usual routines, smells, and comforts.

I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and have many years of experience looking after pets for family and friends. From lively pups that love long walks and playtime, to senior cats that need a little extra patience and care, I truly enjoy spending time with animals of all ages and temperaments.

My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from my love for animals and my desire to give owners peace of mind. I know leaving pets behind can feel stressful, so I make it my mission to ensure they receive the same love, attention, and care I’d give my own.

My daughter Christeen loves dogs and other pets.
We have 2 Border Collies at home which she has cared for, for the last eight years. 
If you need someone to come and feed and care for your small pets (rabbits, Guinea pigs, birds, cats), she (with my support) can do that. She can feed them, clean up after them and give them lots of cuddles. She can even take out your bins for you and collect your mail when she visits. Each home visit for 30 minutes.
If you are looking for someone to walk your dog, she would like to do that too. Christeen loves her dogs and her dog walks and would love to give your dog lots of love too. Dog walks for 30 minutes around your local area
Christeen is in Year 10 in 2025, so dog walks and pet visits would need to be around her school and my work schedule. Unless you are very close to us, limited to one visit a day, as two is infeasible at this stage. Contact us with what you are looking for and we'll see what we can do.
Christeen has spent a lot of time with dogs in our extended family, Cairn Terriers, Cavoodles and King Charles spaniels. She has spent time with family friends birds and Guinea Pigs.
Preference for Vermont South or Mount Waverley areas, but will consider close surrounding areas.

I lost my two beloved babies in 2017 and 2018. It still hurts sometimes. I miss them… So here I am to share my love. I'd adore the company of your fur babies and treat them with love and affection as if they were my own.
&nbsp;I have years of experience with doggies, kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs and turtle since young. I know how stressful and anxious it can be going away and leaving your fur baby. It is my pleasure to take one stress or concern away by providing high quality care to your babe in my cozy home. I will keep you updated with photos and videos throughout the stay. Also might annoy you a bit if I have any concerns about your little one 
Your baby will have free access to the fully fenced grassy backyard &amp; open space house! They're also welcome to jump up on the couch with me. My place is next to a beautiful park so a daily walk is guaranteed, and lots of cuddles and company.&nbsp;
I accomodate your babies needs. Please discuss with me if your baby needs more/less exercise or has special requirements such as never to be allowed off leash, not well socialized or disabilities such as blind/deaf and I will accomodate as neccessary etc.

A little about me!&nbsp;
I grew up in New Zealand with an array of furry friends, from dogs, cats, mice, rats, chooks, fish, birds and horses.
I am the one that attends to the ‘broken’ ones that nobody else wanted. I loved them all.
From a very early age, I always had a way with animals, like a deep understanding of whatthey felt, what they wanted. They were my go to when I needed someone to talkto. This has led me later in life, to Reiki and Intuitive Healing, and Inter-species communication.
I have worked with many rescues, including Greyhounds, as well as rescued wild animals, and those still living free. This now includes approximately 20 species of animals, from around the globe.
The information received has been confirmed by pet owners, and via X-Rays in wild animals, as being accurate.
&nbsp;I lived on a farm for 9 years, having further experience with both cows and sheep.&nbsp;
My life wouldn’t be what it is today without furry companions by my side. Animals complete me.&nbsp;
I currently live with my two cats, Puma (a rescue), and Luna, (my Covid saving grace.)&nbsp;

What can I offer for you and your beloved pets?&nbsp;
I will come to your home, up to twice a day. (More per our arrangement for those animals in need of high care and love) All animals will be greeted with love, pats, and cuddles.&nbsp;&nbsp;
As I have an insight into how animals feel, I will allow timid and or rescues to come to me when they are comfortable, rather than pushing them. It doesn’t usually take long, unless they have experienced severe trauma. It’s all about building trust, and for them to feel safe.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I will feed them as per your instructions; change water bowls daily, and brush if requested. I will clean up any doggy or kitty DoDo’s if needed. Time permitting; I will have a quick play in your yard with your dog, or inside stimulus with your pet.&nbsp;
&nbsp;I offer Dog walking on lead, as an additional service. I also offer to take iPhone photos or short videos of your furry family and send to you for peace of mind that they are settled, looked after, and loved.&nbsp;
If there were any emergencies, I would take them to your vet of choice, after a phone call to you to talk things through, or any other arrangements that you may have put in place.
I am happy to give medication where needed, if your animal is easy to administer, otherwise let me know your tricks to make it successful. I have only done needling on sheep, so I'm not really experienced with injecting medications, however I am happy to learn.
If I am walking your Dog, I am happy to encourage basic commands as per your instruction. I usually get a dog to sit, before crossing roads. (My cats also sit before I put their evening meal out ha ha)&nbsp;
I am also happy to water any indoor plants if needed, and collect any mail.&nbsp;
I have been pet sitting (including rescues) and dog walking privately for a number of years, and can provide feedback by previous clients if needed.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I have walked dogs from 8 kgs to 54 kg, and everything in-between.&nbsp;
I have also helped with the re-homing of a Wolf Hound X, as her owners could no longer look her after. I am happy to say that Molly now has a lovely home and family she can call her own.&nbsp;&nbsp;
