Welcome to my pet portfolio! My name is Giulia, and I am a passionate and dedicated animal lover. With years of experience in all types of animal care and an understanding of animal behaviour, I strive to provide the best care possible for your fur babies when they're with me. At a very young age, I fell in love with animals and my love has only grown stronger. I have completed a course in animal studies 1 and 2 at Boxhill Institute as well as having a certificate for canine and feline first aid. I've had many years of experience with animals as I've worked alongside vets doing volunteer work as well as looking after kittens and puppies from a very young age! I currently have a dog (Remy) who is a German shepherd x border collie, 2 cats (Lana and Clover), and 3 bunnies (Thumper, Toffee and Tikki). Remy is a big dog so I've always been comfortable around larger dogs and been able to control them. I'm naturally very good with animals and I'm sure if you give me a chance I will be able to prove that to you :). In addition to basic animal care, when I completed my animal studies course a subject was CPR on animals which I completed to a high standard so please be assured that if something was to happen I would know how to handle the situation correctly. I assure you that I will do everything I can to make sure you and your pet are comfortable with being around me :). 
I've been pet sitting for around 2 years professionally now but I have been looking after all sorts of animals from a very young age. The animals ranged from big and small dogs, tiny kittens, rabbits, rats you name it I've looked after them! I have a genuine passion and enjoy spending time with all animals and becoming a pet sitter has allowed me to turn my love for animals into a fulfilling career. Pet sitting provides an opportunity to bond with various animals, each with their unique personalities and needs and for me, this is very rewarding. 
I provide compassionate pet-sitting services for both vaccinated and unvaccinated pets. Ensuring the well-being and comfort of all animals under my care is my top priority. Rest assured, I follow strict cleanliness and safety protocols to maintain a healthy environment for every furry friend, regardless of their vaccination status. I live in an area with lots of big parks and scenic places to walk dogs (which my dog personally loves) and I'm always keeping my fitness up so long walks are okay for me! I currently work at a café near my house and my schedule is quite flexible but if need be I will work around my schedule to help you out! About me:
I'm 22 years old and I am in my 5th year of studying a bachelor of Law and Arts. I also work as the Quality Manager for a private RTO called 4 Up Skilling where I work from home one day a week. I regularly compete in showjumping on the weekends and have 5 competition warmblood horses of my own. I grew up on a family sheep and cattle farm 2 hours north of Melbourne. We had a range of different pets: cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and dogs (including Kelpies, Labradors and Whippets). I own two whippets called Lilly and Hector who live with me in Melbourne. I love animals and thought pet sitting would be a fantastic job to help me through my final years at uni doing what I love. 

Experience: 
My mum was a vet nurse and growing up I volunteered at the vet clinic where she worked in Avenel, Vic. This included helping administer medications, cleaning pet beds, feeding and watering the animals, and walking/exercising the dogs. I also have experience with rabbits and guinea pigs as I owned these pets growing up, which taught me early on of the responsibility of owning an animal. As mentioned above I also have spent the first 20 years of my life on a farm and have experience in managing a range of different animals. I have also dog sat two of my friends dogs before on the days that I have worked from home, Kevin the Labrador and Margot the Labradoodle. 

Services: 
I offer dog walking and home visit services in the Maidstone, Footscray, Ascot Vale, Maribyrnong, and Sunshine areas. I can come to you, or you can drop off your pet to be walked around Maidstone.&nbsp;I am 10 minutes walk away from the Maribyrnong river and offer walk my two whippets along there. There is also an off leash dog park near me where I could walk your dog. I can walk your dog for between 30-40 minutes depending on what they need. For home visits, I would be there for 30-40 minutes and can water and feed you pet, let it outside to toilet, or spend time playing with them. I can also walk your dog as an add on. I will be offering these services on a Monday and Wednesday most weeks, the times will differ to work around my university schedule. I may also offer in the future a daycare service on Tuesdays as I work from home. I may only be out of the house for 30 minutes at a time to run errands. I have a fully fenced back years with grass the services my two dogs wonderfully. The inside of the house is tidy, with little for your dogs to chew or get into. Please keep in mind that your dog would have to be friendly with my two whippets, mine are a year old and two years old and are good with other dogs, but keep in mind their size and the fact they can be high energy at times. I'm a dog lover who works from home late at nights so your dog will always be right with me or around me and treated like my own furbaby.
I have a French bulldog Ripley who is extremely friendly, loves to play with other dogs and we both have a lot of experience with other dogs of all energy levels, from small breeds to Border Collies.&nbsp;
The inside of my house is dog friendly, I have a secure yard with plenty of grass, a high private fence and very large sheltered area and I also live right next to a giant nature reserve where I take the dogs for a walk.&nbsp;
