Hello :) I'm Louisa, in my early 30s, and originally from Germany. After completing my Master's degree (Global Health) in Sweden, I moved to Australia with my partner about a year ago and have been able to gather ample of pet sitting experience.
I primarily offer pet care in the home of pet owners and therefore enjoy walking dogs in their familiar surroundings. This maintains routines, so the dogs feel safe and can enjoy their familiar paths and favourite places.
I lived with my own dog for over 13 years. She was a rescue and a beloved family member to me. Through her, I learned not only about the daily care but also the responsibility and patience required to provide an animal with a happy life.&nbsp;
During my travels, I was also able to gain valuable practical experience: In Romania, I worked at an animal shelter and a clinic for dogs and cats, in Spain, I helped at a dog rescue center, and in Malaysia, I supported a cat rescue. My duties there included administering medication, bottle feeding, and providing intensive care for sick and young animals.&nbsp;
In addition, I took on numerous pet-sitting assignments last year, including around 20 multi-day assignments in Australia – many of them for recurring clients.&nbsp;
I am excited to expand this network through Pawshake :)


I am a 34 year old Chilean 'young man' who has lived around dogs all life, however, I came to Australia and don't intend to have any pets yet, so I miss the feeling of walking, playing and running with them. I enjoy being around any kind of dogs, but have more experience with bigger size breeds. I also have the ability to go out with more than one if necessary. I usually have good chemistry with dogs I haven't met before and I feel like I understand their need really well. I love to go for a jog with them or just going for a chill walk so they can enjoy the outdoor and release some energy. If you want your dog to go out to enjoy and be in good hands do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to coordinate and have both a great experience. Previous experience: With my own dogs  (x6 I can give medication (pils) to dogs.
I prefer morning walks/runs or at night (5am-7:30am or after 18:00)&nbsp;
I would go to any close Parks or walks along the Beach, depending on location. Preferable Newcastle East - Merewether Walks. 30min to 1 hour walk, depending on the dog's energy.

In Spain I live with my mum, her two cats, my two cats and my dog.

With a lifelong passion for animals, I've cherished the companionship of various furry, feathery, and fluffy friends throughout my life. From a young kid and growing up on a farm, I've had all kinds of pets, ranging from cats, budgies, rabbits and three big bull mastiffs which I have loved. Now, we have a 2 year old Groodle named Teddy who loves playing with other dogs just as much as treats and cuddles. Teddy runs our house hold and demands lots of attention which we love to give and would treat any one pets just the same. 
Teddy thrives on daily adventures, puppy play dates, walks through the neighborhood, and run arounds at the ovals nearby. Teddy is very friendly with all dogs of all shapes and sizes. We have a large backyard, fully fenced for the dogs to run around and play in. We also have the ability to separate the dogs if they need some cozy sleep time on the lounges/ or their beds. 
 Pet services 
My partner and I regularly work from home, so your pet will always have company.
We normally do 1-2 daily walks for up to 45 minutes and regularly visit local cafes and ovals with Teddy.
We can administer pet medications.
We can board 2 pets at any one time.
Our home 
We have a large fully fenced and secure backyard with lots of grass for pets to play
We are happy to have pets sleep inside, either in our lounge room, laundry or in our room if they are anxious.
We have seperate rooms to give your pets some downtime if required, or space for slow eaters to finish their meals.
We look forward to loving your pet by giving lots of cuddles, walks and treats.

I come from the countryside and grew up surrounded by animals. They give me energy and joy, and I love spending time with them. I am French and have been living in Australia for a year. During this time, I worked at a kennel in Queensland and in a dingo rescue near Canberra, where I took care of dingoes for two months. Then I looked after and walked a Golden Retriever in Sydney for three months. I would love to be around dogs, cats, or other animals again, which is why I am looking to do pet sitting. I have a car, so I can easily come to your home and take your dog(s) to the beach or the park if you wish. I also have a cat waiting for me in France.
