I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I got my first dog when I was eight, and ever since, caring for pets has been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs, cats, and other animals for friends, family, and clients, and it never feels like a job—it's something I genuinely love doing. 
Last year I only officially pet sat for 8 days over the Christmas holiday. I took care of one the sweetest dogs I've encountered and consistently fed him and walked at the specified times and specified routes. I kept in daily contact with the owners and send them adorable photos of any updates. 
I know how much pets mean to their owners because I feel the same way about mine. That’s why I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it's taking a dog for a long walk, playing with them, or simply keeping them company in their own home, I do everything I can to make sure they’re happy and well cared for. 

Details about me:
19 years old second student at Macquarie university (Bachelors of psychology and primary education. I'm currently employed as an event staff and have a lengthy record of retail. 

My availabilities for the most upcoming time periods would be: 
Mon-Wed: Early mornings - afternoons 
Thursday: Evenings 
Saturday: Early morning - evenings
N/A: Friday &amp; Sunday

I offer: 
House sitting (can stay up to 8 days -- exceptions can be made)
This includes: Feeding, fresh water, administering medication, playtime, and companionship, watering plants, taking out trash/recycling, and light cleaning (vacuuming pet hair, wiping counters, etc.), bringing in mail/packages, adjusting lights/blinds, and ensuring doors/windows are secure, knowing vet contacts, emergency numbers, and being prepared for any pet-related issues.

Home visits ( will be 1 - 1.5 hours)
This includes: Feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and short playtime, cleaning up any messes or waste in the yard or around house, brining in mail, water plants, sending pictures, videos, or a summary of how the visit went and administering medication at specific times if needed.


  Dog walks (1 hour walks -- unless owner prefers longer/shorter)

Locations will be any nearby park or routes specified by the owner. 
A walk suited to the dog’s needs (duration, pace, route preference. Also wiping paws, refreshing water, and ensuring the dog is comfortable before leaving.

I am deeply motivated to be a pet sitter because animals have played a constant and meaningful role in my life. I truly appreciate the emotional support, comfort, and joy they give, and I strongly believe they deserve the same level of love, patience, and care in return. I work in Sydney CBD and from home, and available for walking some evenings after 5pm (if you need earlier times, I can accomodate depending on the days). Hello! My name is Aysha, and I live on Sydney's north shore. I've always been around dogs and cats growing up, with three dogs at my grandparents' place, a dog &amp; cat at my mum's, and a cat at my dad's. I work as a freelance creative, which means my days don't adhere to a regular 9-5 working week structure. If you're looking for someone who can pop in during the day, cuddle with and feed your pets, and take your dog for a walk - I'm your gal! To me, there's no joy quite like hanging out with our pets.
Our cats (Max and George respectively - stellar names I know) are grumpy as ever but secretly cuddly at heart. Lolly our dog sadly passed a few years ago, and she was always very shy and gentle. I really miss having a dog around, and would eagerly jump at any opportunity to care for one again. I can promise lots of love and enthusiasm, play time, rest time, and cleaning up after them of course. Even if you just need someone to hang out for the day and keep them company, I'd be delighted!

I am an older lady, a retired creative arts teacher . I love travelling and being out in nature  and delving into the mysteries of the wider Cosmos  .  I am an experienced and very well regarded pet sitter   and mad keen animal lover. I work  primarily as a live in sitter  meaning  I will come to your home and stay overnight to care for your pets while you  are away . I normally undertake sits from a minimum of 3 days  and  up to 6 weeks.&nbsp;
I have been pet sitting now for close to three years and have clocked up some really wonderful 5 star reviews  via agencies I worked through prior to joining Pawshake  I dont currently own any pets myself and love the opportunity  pet sitting affords me to spend quality time  with other people's fur babies . I see my role as a doting visiting aunt ...  lots of fun and cuddles walks if required  and spoiling  and often find it hard to say goodbye to the fur babies  I mind   . I  particularly love to walk the doggies I mind and especially love the dog park experience .  I find it a really fun and very sociable part of a sit  .Love watching the dogs socializing  and often find other pet friendly nice people to chat to  at the dog park.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
I usually pack a creative project in my  suitcase  when off to a sit such as a writing or illustration project I have been working  on writing and illustrating and self publishing a second childrens book  as my latest project&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
&nbsp;I  find it works well to have a creative project to work on whilst  spending quality time chilling with the pets I mind in their own home . I feel priveleged and blessed to have had the lovely opportunites to spend  quality time caring for and enjoying the company of the pets I have minded  over the last few years .
Apart from taking care of  cats and dogs of many different breeds and ages I have had quite a bit of experience minding chickens .I once minded a chook house with  50  bossy chickens who were very  enamoured of the applique  flowers on my leather sandles and went for my feet everytime I entered their domain .It was soemwhat terrifying  but I lived to tell the tale   and I am pleased to report the only critter ever to have sheafed its mortal coil  while on my watch  was a little hermit crab .I came downstairs one morning to find its e shell floating upside down and its little legs pointing skywards .  Cause of death unknown  It was very sad . However other than than I'm very pleased to report overall very positive experiences of handing back to their owners relaxed happy pets and a sparkling clean home at the end of each sit.
