My name is Jill, I'm 60 years old, mum to 2 dogs - Lamb Chop an 8 year old boxer and Honey a 3 year old Daschund. I am very excited to offer my services as a carer for your beloved pets. 
I am mum to 3 boys and a grandparent to three perfect little people who I adore. I am now retired and want to spend more time doing things that I love and pets are my happy place. 
I have become a pet sitter because I have been through the anxiety of where to find the best place to leave my own pets. Invariably that ends up being a trip with them. Or occasionally a son is living back in SA and will mind them. So, I completely understand the worry and I get the responsibility. I can offer regular updates and photos whilst you're away for some extra reassurance. Or, if you're like me, video chats with your fur babies.
For home visits I will come in and spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, playing, feeding, checking water is fresh and, if necessary I can water your plants and bring in the mail, attend to bins. 
For walks I will take your pets for at least a 30 minute walk or less if that's what they require. I will not walk pets on hot days when pavements and roads are too hot. But can spend time in active play as an alternative. 
If you can give me clear guidelines I would love to keep to your pets normal routine as closely as possible. Basically, I want to make your time away as unnoticed as possible by your pets.
Living in a small home with 2 dogs of my own I can't offer boarding or day care. 

Being a mum of our one and only precious tuxedo cat - Momo, our family has always wanted a sibling for Momo. Unfortunately, Momo is an anxious furbaby who might not adapt well to a multi-cat family, so I have decided to channel my passion into cat sitting.&nbsp;
Yes I am NEW to Pawshake however not new to cat sitting nor caring for cats.  I look after my friends' two cats when they are away for holidays. I also had two adorable cats growing up therefore I understand how important cats are to hooman! I hope to be as FLEXIBLE as I can and learn the best ways to care for cats (so I know what's best for Momo as well!)
I offer home visit to houses to care for and play with your cats, ranging from 30 to 60 minutes depending on your needs. I am able to visit the cats either in the morning or evening after work on weekdays. Flexible on weekends and I'll discuss the feeding time with you piror to your booking to ensure we both meet each other's expectations.&nbsp;
I also have experience in medication administration for cats - both pills and liquid. Meet and greet is a MUST if your furbaby requires medication so I can observe and make sure i'm feeding them in the safest ways they are comfortable with.&nbsp;

Since childhood, I've always been passionate about pets. I grew up with 2 dogs, Mike and Bob, and I also always admired my grandma's care for her bird. Living with them taught me the importance of love and care for our furry friends. The opportunity to be a pet sitter is a dream come true for me, as it allows me to be in daily contact with these lovely creatures. The care I provide goes beyond feeding them and giving them water; it involves playing, walking, giving affection, and being attentive to their emotional and physical needs. In Brazil, besides looking after my Bruce, a very active border collie who loves to play, I had some regular clients where I would take animals for walks, take care of their needs for a few days while their owners were away, such as feeding, providing attention, and playing.

Happy to do any general yard maintenance required or feed other pets (birds, rabbits, etc). Work during the day (excluding weekends) so will walk, feed and care for your pets in the morning and afternoon. Happy to accommodate any other services that may need doing such as lawns.
