Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Hollywell QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Hollywell QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Hollywell QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Animals have always been a big part of my life, and my love for them started with my own golden retriever who was with me for 15 wonderful years. Caring for him taught me patience, responsibility, and just how much joy pets bring into our lives. Those years gave me experience in everything from daily walks and feeding to health needs, playtime, and lots of love!Alongside my own dog, I’ve also helped care for my partner’s parents’ pets as well as friends’ pets. Their feedback has always been that their pets seemed very calm and comfortable with me, which makes me proud because it shows they feel safe in my care. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, making sure they’re happy, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away.As a pet sitter, I offer walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and plenty of cuddles. Although my room is on the smaller side, I live just 50m away from the Broadwater, which has extensive walking paths down the Marine Parade that are perfect for dogs. Since I love exercising and staying active, I’m more than happy to take energetic dogs for long walks if they need it. If pets stay over, I can also provide comfortable pet beds to make them feel at home. For everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated pets into my care, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands and in a safe environment.

Hi! I'm a passionate animal lover and proud dog mum to two friendly dogs of my own. Being a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and genuinely caring to look after your furry family members. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for animals and the joy I get from spending time with them, whether that's going for walks, playing, or simply giving them attention and comfort.
I have one Border Collie and one Moodle x Cavoodle, so I’m very familiar with managing different temperaments and energy levels. From the intelligence and high energy needs of a working breed to the affectionate and companion-focused nature of a smaller crossbreed, I’ve learned how important it is to tailor care to each individual dog. I’m confident handling dogs of various sizes and personalities, always prioritising their safety, wellbeing, and emotional comfort.
When first meeting your pet I like to make them comfortable by sitting down and letting them approach me. I put my hand out face down so they can smell me and go at their own pace.
Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply cuddling up for company, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and keep things consistent while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and ensure they receive plenty of love, supervision, and care!
I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member!

Hi! My name is Alazaye :)

From cows to cat I have pretty much done it all. Growing up on a farm definitely elevated my animal experience. I also have a dog of my own back home so pet sitting is a way for me to get my animal fix!
I have looked after big and small dogs, up to 3 dogs at once, cats, calves and horses. Overall I have probably been "sitting" pets since I was 12 years old!
I work full time Sunday-Thursday but outside of those hours i'm at the gym then straight home for dinner. Early morning walks are my favourite especially if it's on a waterfront!
I'm offering house and pet sitting services at the moment. Because I stay in a share house, unfortunately I cannot bring pets into my home.
I am open to sitting all kinds of pets and willing to look after those with special requirements as well.
As of yet I do not own my own transport and am yet to get my NZ license switched over so for now I am vibing it out with public transport!

I am a 30-year-old passionate animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Over the years, I have looked after pets of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, which has given me a solid understanding of their unique personalities and needs. From playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention, I adapt my care to suit each animal, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
One of my key strengths is being able to manage pets with special requirements. I have successfully administered medication, followed specific feeding schedules, and maintained consistent routines to reduce stress. I also provide overnight stays when needed, making sure pets receive constant care and companionship in a familiar environment. My focus is always on creating a calm and nurturing space where animals can truly relax while their owners are away.
In addition to my personal experience, I volunteer at the AWLQ Gold Coast Animal Rehoming Centre, where I regularly assist in caring for both dogs and cats. This role has further deepened my knowledge of animal behavior, strengthened my ability to handle pets with different needs, and allowed me to support their wellbeing while they wait for a loving home. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has shaped my compassionate and professional approach to pet care.
I am dedicated, reliable, and genuinely passionate about providing the best possible care for animals. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or simply giving them the affection they deserve, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting your furry companions and discussing how I can provide exceptional care for them!

Hi there! I'm Daniela, a 35-year-old Mexican who now calls Australia home. Growing up, German Shepherds were a huge part of my life—they were my world. Losing my beloved companion, Mark, five years ago was incredibly tough, but it deepened my love for animals. Now, living on the stunning Gold Coast, I've found immense joy in looking after pets.
Working from home in my own marketing consultancy allows me to take your furry friends for walks, watching them for a few days, or even a week at your place. At the moment, I can't take pets at my place, but I can definitely go to yours. I'm currently walking regularly 2 wonderful dogs, Max and Coco. I've even stayed with Coco for 4 days. I have also taken care of cats and fish.Let me be the one to ensure your pets feel loved and cared for while you take care of other things. ️‍

Hi, I’m Odette – a lifelong animal lover based on the Gold Coast. While I’m new to pet sitting professionally, caring for animals comes naturally to me. I grew up around pets and have always been the friend or family member people call when they need someone loving and reliable to check in on their furry family members.
I live with a sweet kitten of my own, so at the moment I’m not offering pet boarding in my home – I want to make sure she continues to feel safe and secure as she grows. That said, I’m more than happy to come to your home for drop-in visits, cuddles, feedings, playtime, and walkies. Whether it’s making sure your dog gets their exercise and stimulation, or your cat gets some gentle company while you’re away, I bring patience, warmth, and attention to detail to every visit.
I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own – and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and follow any specific routines or needs they may have.
If you’re looking for a dependable, genuinely animal-obsessed carer who will love your pets like family, I’d love to help. Feel free to get in touch with any questions or to organise a meet & greet!
Warm regards
Odette

Hi! My name is David and I’m a responsible, active and calm person who genuinely loves animals and spending time outdoors. I grew up around pets and have always felt a natural connection with dogs — I truly enjoy caring for them, walking them and making sure they feel safe, relaxed and happy.

I live an active lifestyle and spend a lot of time walking, training and being in nature, so dog walking fits perfectly with who I am. I’m very attentive, patient and respectful of each pet’s personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a calm walk, I adapt easily.

I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else. I treat every animal as if it were my own, always prioritising their wellbeing, safety and comfort. I follow instructions carefully, keep routines consistent and make sure pets receive plenty of attention and affection.

I’m motivated to work as a pet sitter because it allows me to combine responsibility, movement, nature and meaningful connection. I’m happy to care for vaccinated pets and I’m always open to clear communication with owners to ensure peace of mind.

I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
