Hi there, I’m Breanna a qualified veterinary nurse and life long animal lover.
Animals have always held a special place in my heart—they inspire me every day with their unconditional love, loyalty, and unique personalities. From a young age, I felt a deep connection with animals and have always enjoyed caring for them, whether it’s walking dogs, playing with cats, or simply sitting quietly with a nervous pet to help them feel safe and loved.&nbsp;I will keep your pet happy with walks, playtime, cuddles or games tailored to their personalities. 
As a full time veterinary nurse I do work long hours, but I'm available for overnight stays Friday to Sunday and day care on Thursday. Happy to help when I can to give your pet plenty of love and attention 🩷
As a vet nurse I am confident in doing a bit more for your pet if needed- 
- giving medications and injections safely 
- provide first aid and wound care 
- nail trims and anal glands (small additional cost)

I am sincere about caring for your pet, will follow instructions closely and enjoy having him/her as company.  I enjoy the company of pets and I like to give dogs a proper walk. I am formerly a dog owner but don't currently have a dog or cat. My dog passed away a few years ago and I have been living overseas since.  I returned to Canberra recently to take up residence here again.  I'm not the type to invite people over or have parties, and am happy to keep the garden in check if requested.
My major is in biology, then I switched career to university teaching. I periodically work with animals on a farm in Hall, and have professional references available from work if requested. I have 9 months petsitting experience during covid, caring for two cats, and did a lot of petsitting for an elderly couple in O'Connor some years ago (Poodle from a refuge- it needed some love and training).  I have from time to time looked after pets for friends, walking them regularly and preparing specific foods (often cooked) as requested.

Hi I'm Alexandra! I'm originally from Melbourne and am currently studying law and commerce at ANU. I have spent my entire life surrounding by animals, especially dogs, chickens and horses. I have experience looking after dogs, chickens, cats and horses of family and friends when they have been away. However, most of my experience comes from my responsibilities at home. I have grown up on acreage and care for 5 horses and a dog at home. I absolutely adore my pets and love to spoil them with treats and cuddles. I would bring the same level of care to looking after your pets as I do to my own animals - I know what it's like to be the owner stressing about your pet while you're away! 
I would love to join your dog in discovering new areas and walking routes around your home to keep them interested and happy on their dog walks. I know every dog has different energy levels and so I am always happy to discuss how long your dog wants to walk for whether this is 30 minutes or an hour. 
When pet sitting I would give them the same love and attention as I would my own pets. I'm not the kind a person who simply feeds the dogs and then ignores them. I love giving them pats and cuddles as much as they love receiving them! I have handled shy dogs and boisterous ones and I know that they often need different levels of care and attention depending on their personalities. I would love to get to know them before my first session in order to give them the best care possible. Plus I'm always happy to send pictures and updates to keep your mind as ease while you are away!
