Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Gumdale QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Gumdale QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Gumdale QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hello! I'm Natalia, a professional full-time pet sitter serving Brisbane and surrounds, including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and parts of rural Queensland and Northern NSW.
I've spent years specialising in in-home pet sitting for cats and friendly dogs of all sizes, keeping their routine and comfort in their own home while their owners are away. Other pets are welcome too.
I've been around pets most of my life, and with a background in counselling and support work, pet sitting has let me bring my extensive experience in caring and empathy into looking after other people's pets. Most pets warm up to me quickly, and I fall for them just as fast!
I'm a non-smoker and non-drinker, clean and tidy, and I work from home as a health care professional, so your pets get plenty of care and attention throughout the day. Police check and references available.
If you need a reliable pet nanny, I’d love to help!

For shared households, homes without air-conditioning in summer, or properties where smoking occurs regularly, I'm only able to offer home visit services.
Discounts available for cat-only sits, dogs when no walks are required, and long sits (3+ weeks). Please enquire

Hi, I’m Summer I’m a proud dog mum to a young German Shepherd named Moka. I also volunteered at a dog daycare, where I gained hands-on experience with group play, basic training, and reading canine body language. These experiences have made me confident with dogs of all sizes, from playful puppies to large breeds.

I currently work full-time during weekdays, so I’m mainly available for mornings, evenings, and weekends. I provide:

Dog walking – regular or one-off walks to keep your dog active and happy.
Drop-in visits – feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, and cuddles while you’re away.
House sitting / overnight care – making sure your pets feel safe and cared for in their own home.

Doggy daycare – daytime care at my home with gentle play, short walks, basic training reinforcement, and lots of cuddle and rest time. I make sure puppies don’t get over-excited and always have enough naps to feel settled. Daycare covers up to 8 hours (e.g. 8am–4pm), with extra hours available for an additional fee if needed.

Basic training reinforcement – supporting leash manners and simple commands during walks. I have also worked specifically on leash pulling with my own German Shepherd, and he now walks calmly at heel. Of course, every dog is different, so I will adjust based on what motivates your pet. When booking, please let me know about your dog’s personality and what they are most interested in, so I can tailor the experience for them.

I have a spacious backyard where dogs can run, play, and explore in a safe environment (see photos for reference). If you book Boarding or Daycare, please contact me after the reservation. I will provide you with a customised daily schedule of training and playtime for your dog, so you can see how their day is planned.
I always tailor the routine to each dog’s needs, ensuring the right balance of exercise, training, rest, and companionship. Your furry friend will be both happy and safe under my care.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring local parks, and giving dogs the exercise and enrichment they need. I treat every pet like my own and always focus on building trust, safety, and comfort. For everyone’s wellbeing, I only accept vaccinated pets. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and become their new walking buddy!

Hi! My name is Maria, and I’m an animal lover with lifelong experience caring for dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and personalities, so caring for them has always felt natural and joyful to me.

Throughout my life, I’ve cared for medium and large breeds such as Rottweilers, Dalmatians, and Labradors, as well as mixed breed rescue dogs. I’ve also participated in animal volunteer experiences, supporting and caring for dogs in need. In recent years, I’ve been the main caregiver of my Chihuahua, who is my beloved pet in my home country.

I’m excited to have the opportunity to walk, visit, or stay with your dog for as long as you wish.

I’ll be studying in the afternoons from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, which means I’m available in the mornings, evenings, and overnight to care for your pets. I’m happy to adapt to their routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and any special care they may need.

I’m a calm, responsible, and attentive person who truly enjoys being present with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own.

We are a family of four: my wife, our son, Hachi (our dog), and me. We’re both passionate dog lovers and have always had dogs in our family. So, when we finally got a home, the first thing we did was welcome Hachi into our lives!
Our Place:

We have a turf ground where the dogs can play.
A covered deck provides a cozy spot for them to rest during the day.
When the weather isn’t ideal or at night, we always keep them inside to ensure their comfort and safety.

My Experience:

Dogs have always been a part of our home and family.
As a dog owner, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away. You can trust us to keep you updated daily with adorable photos.

We take Hachi for walks twice a day and, on weekends, to the Pt Chev dog park or the beach. If your furry friend loves walks, they’ll have a great time with us!
I work from home most days, which allows me to spend quality time playing in the backyard and teaching them fun tricks.
Before we care for your furry friend, I’d love to arrange a meet-and-greet. This way, we can ensure everyone is comfortable and familiar.

We are animal lovers and enjoy having small size dogs come to stay. We have a house with a large size fully fenced deck and live very close to the local dog park. He's very sociable, love cuddles and kisses! We have looked after serveral dogs and absolutely love it! We would love to look after your furbaby and be rest assured they will be loved and cared for as if they were our own. They will have the best time away whilst you are enjoying yours! We will send you regular updates with photos and/or videos. We are very excited and look forward to have your furbaby stay with us.
