Top cities for cat sitting in Australia

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Glebe NSW Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Glebe NSW cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Glebe NSW cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi! I’m Nashya. Working from home in the heart of Chippendale. I have had dogs my whole life and am passionate about ensuring they live a happy and healthy life. I have a very flexible schedule and can accomodate your needs. I pride myself in being reliable, trustworthy, and having a genuine love and connection to dogs. I have experience with all dog breeds from all walks of life and am confident in handling dogs that have special needs, require medication or extra loving care due to nervousness/anxiety. My plan is to move overseas in the next couple years, so getting my own dog isn’t an option. That’s why I’m here! I need dog love just as much as they need human love Services I offer:Dog Walking - 45 mins - This can be catered to your dogs needs whether that's a walk around the block or play time (leashed or unleashed) at Victoria Park or Prince Alfred Park. Always take treats with me. Additional dogs at lower rate.Home Visits - 30 mins - Working from home makes it very easy for me to come by at any time for a check in, feed, water top up and cuddle (and administer oral medication if necessary). While I’m there, I can also help out with daily household tasks like watering plants, bringing in mail, etc.House Sitting - 24 hour care - I can make myself available to provide 24 hour company and care to your pet. If possible, I may leave for a couple hours at a time to go out for lunch or get groceries, but am very flexible with how much time I can spend in the house. While house sitting, I will leave everything as clean and as I found it. I can provide communications/updates at your request, and do daily household tasks (ie. accepting deliveries, watering plants). To ensure your home security, I will lock the doors, not invite anyone into the home, gather mail, and set any alarms as per your request. All my services come with plenty of photos (if you’d like) to give you a sense of security that your pets are being well looked after.I know that fur babies become a part of the family and any pet that is in my care becomes a part of mine, so you can trust that they will be treated and loved as my own!

Being a pet sitter isn't just a job for me; it's a heartfelt passion. Growing up surrounded by pets, I've learned their language of love. Each furry friend I care for gets personalized attention, tailored to their unique personality. Safety is my top priority, which is why I only host vaccinated pets in my home. But my services don't stop there—I also offer dog walking to ensure your furry companions get the exercise and attention they need. Whether it's a leisurely stroll or an energetic romp, every walk is an adventure. With me, your pets are in loving, capable hands. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to caring for your beloved furry family members. So, if you're looking for a compassionate caregiver who'll treat your pets like family, you've found the right person. Let's give your pets the love and care they deserve! They would love it!

Having such a close relationship with my dog, Rocky, I've grown to love animals deeply. For the last 12 years, I've had experience in walking dogs- friends/family/my own dog. They have ranged from small dogs to medium sized. I enjoy long walks and am patient with dogs who love to sniff everything and anything! But, I am aware some dogs may have limitations in their breathing and might need shorter walks and specific leashes- personally my dog had breathing issues and walks were tailored to him such as a proper leash, breaks between walks, water stops and lots of patience. Furthermore, I am more than happy to send picture/message updates whenever you want! However, it is important that the dogs I walk are friendly and safe around humans in order to have the best experience! I'm looking forward to seeing your furry baby and having lots of fun!

All my life I've enjoy looking after my cats and dogs however since moving to Sydney my current living situation doesn’t offer me the luxury to have pets of my own. As a result I volunteered at an animal shelter because I missed that feeling of spending quality time with them.
Over the many years of looking after the pets of my neighbour and friends, I understand the immense responsibility bestowed upon ensuring the care and safety of your precious fur babies - I am also quite flexible with my time and can cater for your busy schedule.
My walks are usually 45 minutes minimum to around an hour and can accommodate for any special requirements. I will never let the pet off leash unless requested. You can be assured that your pet will be my No.1 priority and ONLY your pet will be with me during my service duration.
Home visits and house sitting services are also available when you need someone to look after your place when you’re away from home. If you have any other niche requirement that you'd like to discuss, feel free to drop me a line and we can figure out what’s best for you and your precious one.

As the "infamous" Sigmund Freud once said “Time spent with pets is never wasted.” Mrs‘ DoLittle signing off for now...
