In the past decade, I've had the delightful privilege of being surrounded by furry companions, but currently find myself without any pets of my own.With over a decade of professional experience as a dog walker, my weekdays were filled with the joy of driving the "dogmobile" to gather playful puppers (usually a maximum of four) from their respective homes. Together, we'd embark on adventures to off-leash beaches or parks, returning home to a well-deserved bath, ensuring they were not only clean but pleasantly exhausted for their humans returning from work.
In recent years, I've continued the joy of pet-sitting, catering to the whims and fancies of my favorite furry friends, spanning the delightful spectrum of dogs and cats. Personally, residing in a cozy townhouse, I've most recently had pet rats, fostering a special fondness for these charming companions.
Now, I extend an invitation to bring my passion for pet care to your doorstep. I'm Chiara, I'm in my late 30's and grew up in Sydney and relocated to Newcastle two years ago to be closer to family. I work full time in Marketing for a company based in Sydney, so I have to go into the office 1-2 days a week. Unfortunately that means I can't have pets of my own right now.
I love animals and grew up with two cats and a dog (a bull mastiff). Now I get my pet fix looking after my friends and family's pets when they go away. I've looked after many of my friends' cats as well as my family's dogs - a Staffy, Bull Mastiff and a Groodle.
I enjoy keeping active by walking, running, and going to the gym. I also love catching up with friends, reading, and a good tv series/ movie. 
I'm reliable, responsible and would love to take care of your pet. I'm available weekdays before 8am and after 5:30pm and all day on weekends. I offer:
- Dog walking: 50 minutes walk. I have a car and am located close to Redhead Beach, Dixon Park Reserve, Acacia Avenue Reserve, and Speers Point. Or I can go to a park near you. 
- Home visits: I'll stay for 30 minutes per visit, feeding your pet and playing/ spending time with them. During these visits I'm also happy to collect mail and water any plants. 
- House sitting: for up to 5 days. Longer stays are on a case by case basis.

Growing up with 2 big golden retrievers in the house has given me a passion for working with animals and a knack for taking care of the needs of our furry friends!I am comfortable walking small to medium dogs and very well-mannered large dogs. I offer dog walking and house visits to animals in the Inner West area, and can walk multiple dogs at once if your dog has a buddy. Depending on your dog’s needs, I can take them to the dog park, beach or many dog-friendly walking tracks in the area and will send you a few snaps of your dog on their fun day out. I'm more than happy to throw a ball fifty times, if your dog is anything like mine, or can let them socialise off-lead with other dogs. However, I also know a few quiet walks in the area if your dog needs their own space.Having taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits and some very noisy parakeets, I'm comfortable caring for most animals but would love to have a meet and greet with any new fluffy friends. I've just moved to Newcastle, living with my brother and sister-in law who also love animals just as much as me - they will be constantly fussed! I currently have no work commitments can be available to help out at any time of the day or week and I have access to a car for pick-up/drop offs if needs be.&nbsp;
I am happy to housesit for long periods of time, can be at your home with your pet all day if you need and happy to stay overnight (water the plants, bring the bins out and check the mail if you need too!) Day visits will for as long as I am satisfied that your pet is happy and relaxed.&nbsp;
We do have a cat in our main house but there is a granny-flat below which your dog will be more than welcome to for overnight stays or for me to hang out with in during the day. There is also a back garden for in-between walk toilet breaks.&nbsp;
Our last German Pointer would take 3x tablets a day so I'm more than happy adminstering oral medication for your animals.&nbsp;
