Hello! I'm Dhanu, born and raised in Canberra. I ventured out for university but during my time in Canberra, I cherished my years with Pawshake, primarily as a dog sitter and walker. It was heart-wrenching to pause my Pawshake journey due to my move interstate, but I'm thrilled to rekindle that passion as I move back to Canberra. Since childhood, I’ve had experience raising five small to medium-sized dogs at home. I used to assist my parents in walking and feeding them. As an adult, I’ve independently cared for a medium-sized dog, a budgerigar and a Cockatiel for four years, though they currently reside in China with my parents.&nbsp;
I have a genuine love for animals and am willing to invest the necessary patience in their care. With significant time spent studying at home for my postgraduate studies, I’m available to care for animals either at home or by providing feeding and walking services. I am basically at home all day, so I will accompany pets with sufficient time. Despite living in an apartment without a yard and a outdoor area, I can take dogs to suitable places like parks for exercise.&nbsp;
I walk dog two to three times a day according to pet's activity needs, and one time we will play outside for a long time.
I have already had pet sitting experience and I regularly take videos and photos for pet owners every day to confirm their pet's condition.&nbsp;
At present, I don't have any other pets at home, and I have prepared a sleeping carpet for the pets who come to my house, and they can sleep on my sofa.


Hello, my name is Nicole. I just recently moved over here for uni from America. I have always been a huge animal lover and have a long history with animals. I have ridden horse for around 10 years and worked at the barn I rode at helping out with all the animals on the property. I took a two year veterinary and grooming class in school, so I have handled all types of dogs from small to big and calm to hyper. I was a dog Walker and sitter in America before moving and have watched my neighbors animals for as long as I can remember. I myself have grown up with dogs in my home since I was born and currently have a cat, two dogs, two hermit crabs, and one fish. I have never not been involved with animals in anyway my whole life. I would love the opportunity to be trusted with your pets and just want to say a huge thank you for giving me the opportunity to keep animals in my life while overseas and trusting me with your pets! 

I normally average around 30 minute walked but will go less or more depending on the dog and owner preferences. Home visits lengths will be up to the pet parents preferences,  I will happily check in on the pets and make sure everything is taken care of including things like bringing in the mail, etc. When I am able to take on a house sitting job I would stay over the whole time. I also can do basic grooming with dogs, like bathing and brushing. 

I am a young professional living in the Woden valley area. I have lived with fur babies my whole life, am a dog lover, 3 time boxer owner and am currently proudly owned by a beautiful goofy boxer named Beau.&nbsp;
I love being outdoors amongst the trees and nature and would love to help you walk your dog. I frequently walk around the dog friendly Mt Taylor area.
I would be happy to walk your dog with other dogs, if they are ok with other dogs, or walk them one on one, depending on your preferences and accommodate any requests.
Please note that dog walking materials (lead/harness etc) must be supplied.
I can generally manage strong dogs but if they are still learning their manners while on walkies, I would appreciate knowing beforehand.
