My name is Lauren, and while I am a new Pawshake sitter, I've been surrounded by pets my entire life. I have two beautiful dogs of my own, and they are a huge part of my life. 
I grew up in a household with 2 dogs, 3 cats, 7 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 2 birds, 2 mice, and many fish! So it's safe to say I am comfortable and experienced looking after all creatures, great and small. 
I deeply understand that our pets are apart of our family and leaving them home alone can be a difficult decision. It's important that you have someone you can trust in the privacy of your own home, and to care for your littlest loves. 
I am available for day visits and dog walking in Canberra and surrounds, and would love the opportunity to look after your pets so you can relax with the peace of mind they are in safe hands. I will provide your pets with all the care they need including food, water, medication, cuddles, play/enrichment time, and I will clean up any accidents to ensure you come home to a clean and tidy house and a happy pet. 
I have over 10 years of experience caring for elderly dogs or those who require regular medication (including all the tips and tricks for those pets who need to be tricked into taking their medicine!). I have adopted multiple rescue dogs in my life and have a soft spot for giving them a second chance at life. 
Every pet is different and so is their required care. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and look after them so you can enjoy your home away from home.

Pet sitting is as much about letting someone trustworthy into your home, someone who will respect your place and possessions, as it is about taking proper care of your much loved pet. I am sincere about caring for your pet, will follow instructions closely and enjoy having him/her as company.  I enjoy the company of pets and I like to give dogs a proper walk. I am formerly a dog owner but don't currently have a dog or cat. My dog passed away a few years ago and I have been living overseas since.  I returned to Canberra recently to take up residence here again.  I'm not the type to invite people over or have parties, and am happy to keep the garden in check if requested.
My major is in biology, then I switched career to university teaching. I periodically work with animals on a farm in Hall, and have professional references available from work if requested. I have 9 months petsitting experience during covid, caring for two cats, and did a lot of petsitting for an elderly couple in O'Connor some years ago (Poodle from a refuge- it needed some love and training).  I have from time to time looked after pets for friends, walking them regularly and preparing specific foods (often cooked) as requested.

Hi there! I’m so happy to be back doing what I love — looking after dogs!  
After taking some time off to have my little boy, I’m now ready to get back out walking and spending time with some gorgeous pups around Canberra.
I’m a passionate dog lover and have experience with all kinds of personalities and energy levels, including energetic breeds. I’ve also previously been a breeder in the ACT, so I understand how important it is to provide each dog with the right care, exercise and attention.

Hi there, my name is Emma. I am a 30 year old lawyer and I am a huge dog lover! My family has owned standard size sausage dogs all my life, and I have owned two beautiful, cream coloured mininature long-haired sausage dogs of my own as an adult. My dog, Tully, is 11 years old and she would much rather sit on the couch and nap in the sun than go for a walk, but I am a huge fan of walking and being outdoors so I would love to walk other dogs. I have experience dog sitting and walking a variety of dog breeds for friends and family. This includes smaller dogs (mostly dachshunds) as well as some bigger dogs like keeshonds and labradors. I work from both the office and sometimes work from home so am available on weekends, mornings, evenings and lunch time (depending on the day).
