I am a student at the University of Melbourne. Since I was a child, I have loved animals. I have been involved in various animal welfare programmes to this day. I am a member of WWF Australia and a donor to several organisations such as RSPCA Victoria. I have six years of experience caring for cats before moving to Australia. I have cared for cats from kittens to seniors. I understand the proper diet for cats and their behaviour. I am aware that cats are the best friends of humans. I have also gained experience in cleaning up after them, maintaining their hygiene, and have even dealt with scratches from aggressive cats. All of these experiences have made me deeply love cats. My motivation for becoming a cat sitter is to build an emotional connection with pets (since the apartment where I live does not allow pets) and to give them the best care and love possible.
I am available to visit the pet owner's home at any time, whether morning, afternoon, or evening (however, my availability must be confirmed in advance). The services I provide include special home visits for cats, such as feeding, cleaning the cage and litter box, and playing with the cat. I also offer grooming services, but only for kittens. I am willing to stay with pets for an hour or more, depending on the pet owner's needs. I am also willing to help water plants or bring in mail during home visits, as well as any other needs, as agreed upon beforehand. I also offer house-sitting services, where I can stay for a maximum of three days. I will ensure the safety of the pet owner's home by consulting with the pet owner before receiving guests and ensuring that all safety instructions from the pet owner are followed properly, such as locking doors and windows. Essentially, I emphasise flexibility during the service and strive to provide the best care not only for the beloved pets but also for the pet owners. Hi there :) To start, here's a little bit about me! I'm a student living in Melbourne currently pursuing an architecture degree. The hardest part of being away from home (for me) has been being away from my dogs, so through this experience I hope- more than anything, to just be able to spend some time around animals just because they make me feel at home and at peace. I have always loved all animals- but do share a much stronger bond with dogs- all shapes, sizes and breeds alike, I have been rescuing dogs ever since I was 8 years old, having adopted my first then and have been volunteering at shelters and foundations oriented towards animals back home ever since middle school. I have experience with rescue and care of both puppies and adult dogs.
&nbsp;Back home, I have one pet dog living at home (the other sadly having passed away due to old age a year ago) as well as stray dogs that I would care for around my neighbourhood. My pet dog (named Miro after the spanish painter :P) is a rescued mixed-breed (Called an indie back home) who i adopted when he was approx. 4 months old, hes almost 7 now, somehow? , (Time really does fly quick) who i miss more than anything in the world. I'm hoping that apart from spending my time productively doing something i geniunely do care about, I am also able to connect with your pets, to make this transition a little bit easier for me.&nbsp;
The services I offer are dog walks as well as home visits at your home. For home visits, I would be able to come spend around 30-45 minutes with your pet at a time, Feed them, interact and play with them to give them that much needed outlet for their energy! I would also be able to perform smaller household tasks such as watering plants/bringing in mail etc. My preferences for these visits would be morning&amp;afternoon, evenings up till 7 pm. For walks i would find an area around your home for about 30 minutes or so :)&nbsp;

My names Kate, I'm a 24y/o living in the inner north and wanting to make new (furry) friends :)) I lost my sweet boy Harry (see cover photo) a year ago and I've been really missing having a dog around if I'm being totally honest... given I'm already out walking I may as well use it as a way to get some much needed dog time and benefit not only my mental health but some local dog parents so here I am !! 

I have been a ~casual~ dog sitter since 2019 - so have plenty experience with a range of breeds &amp; personality types. I have quite the soft spot for Border Collies, but have experience walking/looking after American Staffies, Labradoodles (and other various oodles), Golden Retrievers, French Bulldogs, Whippets, Dachshunds, Aussies, Corgis honestly you name it - I've probably crossed paths with it ! 

For those needing a sleepover, I live with 2 other girls in a townhouse just a stones throw away from the local dog park, so I can guarantee they will be showered with attention during their stay!! We have a large living space for your friend to run around in and huge couch to snuggle up on (if they're allowed, don't wish to teach a bad habit to those who aren't at home!!). The outdoor area is a large 5.3x3 metre terrace/balcony (on third level), this does have a 1.5M tall 'wall' however so my place is best suited for dogs who like to be inside at night as I would never leave them up here unsupervised - I spend most of my day at the dog park soaking up the sun especially for the pup's bathroom time. Please note, given the townhouse layout my house is unfortunately not suitable for those with mobility issues (stairs). 

For those just needing a w-a-l-k - whether it's a short stroll to the local off leash park, power laps around the block, or multiple breaks required as I know some of our senior pups heavily require - I am up for the challenge, just let me know what your pal needs and I will make sure they have the best time :)
