I am very much so, an animal lover, whether it's a big dog or small, kitty cat, reptile, rodent or even those unique friends we hold close to our hearts, (talking to you spider and scorpion owners!) As pets light up our life I want to make sure when you're away they get the love they deserve!I have had 2 dogs at once which I walked, washed and played with everyday! There names were Yoda, the Frenchie/Wise One and Duke, the Cavazoo/King Of Wafflton. I have a Central Bearded Dragon named Tigger, who I am fully responsible for, from feeding, washing, cleaning her enclosure, and buying her food. Let's not forget all those fun adventures I have with her in our apartment's courtyard and the costumes I create for her! My brother owns 2 very cute rats, Lily and Bicky, when he is away I care for them and give them very yummy and nutritious meals. I also have more experience then most reptile owners as I have volunteered at Canberra Reptile Zoo in Nicholls, earning me Costumer Services skills and key reptilian knowledge. I also had to learn a lot of random facts to tell the parties of little kids.If you can't tell already I have a passion for pets, learning as much about them and treating them perfectly. I want to walk your pets as I absolutely love exploring new paths, (metaphorically and literally,) making the most of the day and I know the best doggy lakes, dog parks and relaxing routes for your furry friend! As I am experienced in pet care from my family, I am ready to visit your pet everyday when you are away. I can easily treat your pet with respect, care and make sure you don't have to worry when you're on holiday.

I love animals! All animals. I'm a dog mum myself, but I also love many other pets and have been the carer of cats, bunnies and birds in my home before. I have a Certificate III in Animal Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Zoology, so I also have experience with more exotic pets, including rodents, reptiles and even sheep and cows. (I am however highly allergic to horses, so I must decline working with them).
I offer care visits of half an hour (or more if you would like). This could include feeding, toileting, pats and playtime, or quick cage maintenance tasks like removing recent droppings or food mess. I also have the training in how to give medication, including intravenous and intramuscular injections.
If you live in an apartment like myself, I can take your dog for a short "business walk" as I call it, but I do not currently offer dog walking services.
I'd love to stop by and visit your dog, cat, rabbit, lizard or beloved cow. I can put my professional skills and affinity with animals to use taking care of your special friend. Dogs in particular will try to cross the street just to meet me - but all animals are drawn to my energy. I have a calming presence, and I'm confident in dealing with animals, and regardless of the species it's important to always be intentional and know that they will pick up on your fear and hesitation. If I've never worked with your kind of animal, I will research and learn so that I can come in with that confidence and presence that is needed.

Hi I'm Mel and now that I'm retired I have more time to do the things that make me happy, one of those is caring for cats.
I have a 17 year old ragdoll cat Lucy who I have had since she was 12 weeks old. One very vocal and demanding cat but very much loved and cared for. I have gained my experience with pets as I have had pets all my life, cats, rabbits, pet cockatoo &amp; my dad bred budgies.
Cats have always been my real love. I was a volunteer with The RSPCA in the cattery for 3 years which I loved, it was a very rewarding job. 
Being a cat owner I know how hard it is to go away &amp; leave your cats, so I will look after your fur baby like it was my own. As part of my care for your cat/s I will feed, clean litter trays, play with and of course lots of cuddles. Also happy to brush them if they like being brushed.&nbsp;
As I’m not working I can feed them anytime of day but my preference is late afternoon as mornings are my time to get to the gym, aqua classes ect. 
If the cat is happy to have me around then minimum time spent at your place will be an hour. No rushed visits.
I'm happy to provide regular updates on how things are going, so that you can relax &amp; enjoy your time away, knowing that your fur baby is being well cared for. Also happy to bring your mail &amp; bins in for you.
Some people ask for gardens to be watered, I can also provide this service as long as you realise it's less time spent with your fur baby.

I am in my early 40's and an avid dog lover (completely dog obsessed). I have over five years' experience as a volunteer dog walker and have been lucky to have my own fur babies for a decade. At present, I have one gorgeous dog who is very dog and people friendly.&nbsp;
I am confident at walking, visiting and pet sitting dogs of any size and temperament. They're all beautiful to me!  I am able to feed, administer oral medication and take care of any other needs your fur baby may have. I believe that dogs are angels on Earth and deserve to be treated like gold, and my aim is to treat your dogs as my own while I'm caring for them.&nbsp;My motivation for becoming a dog sitter - I love being around and caring for doggos!!

I do catsitting job with my wife, who is working as a dental assistant and is a 'crazy-cat-lady' who will pet any cat she meets. Basically, we do this job to meet as many cats as we can.

I am an animal lover who is absolutely dog obsessed; I am the type of person that needs to say hi and pat all of the dogs I pass by on the street. 
Since a young age I have always had a dog and other pets in my life before moving to Australia and since I unfortunately don't have any pets of my own at this moment I love to spend time with other people's pets. 
Despite being new to Pawshake I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 8 years. With all of this experience I have gained the skills to adapt to each animals individual needs to ensure that they feel safe and loved during their times with me. 
I'm also a very active person and like to keep fit so I love having some company on my walks. 
I have moved to Canberra about 8 months ago for a change of scenery and at this stage I am offering pet sitting in the pet's home, dog walking and daily home visits to keep your pets happy while you're away.
