Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Findon SA Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Findon SA cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Findon SA cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

My name is Patricia and I had a dog called Scott. He lived for 17 years with me. He was my partner, my best friend and my baby. I also had a disabled cat, called Gato. I adopted him and gave him a live of love, care and security while he had FeLV. He lived with me for almost 2 years. They made me fall in love with animals, so I opened my business in Brazil to work with them and I loved it, working as a pet sitter, dog walker and dog trainer for almost 5 years. During those years, I took courses about behavior, education, and canine communication and language. I worked with dogs of different temperaments and all ages. I use positive reinforcement — a science-based method that rewards good behavior instead of punishing unwanted actions. This approach helps build trust and makes pets feel more comfortable and happy. Now I'm here, in Adelaide, to improve my English for while, and to learn more about animals, animal behaviour and dog training. With almost 5 years of experience in Brazil, I offer my dog walking and pet sitting services here.Walks are good for dogs because they allow them to see the world outside their home, make friends with other dogs and people, play and explore the world. In pet sitting services, I always interact, play, and give affection when they allow it. The visits include cleaning the pet's area, including the litter box, feeder, and waterer. I like to take lots of pictures of animals to show how well your pet is being cared for. If you’re looking for someone reliable and caring to look after your beloved pet while you’re away, please feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to help!

My name is Ben, I am a 39 year old support worker in high schools for children with learning challenges and I am also a yoga teacher. I love caring for and supporting others and helping people live their best lives.
I have grown up surrounded by and loving many animals. My cat Billie sadly passed away at the age of 15 during Covid. I have another cat Frankie who is 19 years old, very active and social and has never had any health issues. Leroy is my best buddy and we do everything together.
I have a lot of experience helping look after others animals whilst they go away or are in hospital. I enjoy connecting with the pets and taking the utmost care with all of their needs whilst in my care.
I understand it can be scary leaving your pets with someone while they may have specific needs and I'm more than happy to follow every step by step guide to ensure your pets routine stays as on track as possible while you are away. Always happy to meet new clients and their babies first to ensure I'm the right person to care for them.

Hi my name is Helen and I absolutely adore dogs.
Our house has an enclosed back yard, with a dog bed and dog couch.
Dogs can sleetp outside or inside in a comfortable garage that has a big brown couch.
There is a large doggy door from the kitchen to the backyard.
I can only take vaccinated pets as I have a 3.5 year Husky X.
He is very friendly as he attends doggy daycare when I am at work and has been around many dogs since he was 10 months old.
To me, they are so special and I understand they are an important part of our family.
I have grown up with dogs and each and every one of them are unique.
Although this is my first time on Pawshake as a sitter I have used it for various services.
I know want to help out others with their fur babies.
I love taking long walks along the beach or parks etc.
My next career move will be opening up a doggy day care centre.
For now, I want to spend as much time as possible with as many beautiful pooches.
I would always offer to do a meet and greet and you can then decide if I am suitable to look after your dog and take them for walks, look after them in my home and stay with them overnight.
Helen xx

I am a Mum of two beautiful girls 11 and 9, I also am Mum to a 4 year old stag hound Cross Bull arab, and a one year old Staffy X Bull Arab. We spend alot of our days at the dog park. Ive had dogs my whole life, I actually believe if you dont like dogs are you even a good person? Yes I know that's mean but seriously who doesn't love a dog, the puppy eyes, the excitement, the cheeky personalities and attitudes plus all that smooching and loving
I have two cats, one hates the world, one just uses me for food. I love them both as much as they love me, which some days isn't alot but some days I could just squish them with my love. Also grew up with Cats since childhood, had so many and at one time we had four .
Same as my kids ^ ^ . Love to hate me, hate to love me. They also adore animals, often far too much, sharing food, love and licks with them
I work in the Disability sector and look after two beautiful pooches for my Participants, walking them for 1 hour and another for two hours on each of my shifts, they love me, of course I'm the lady who walks them but I revel in their excitement to see me
I've been doing Disability care for 3 years almost and have a lovely bond for all my Pooches.
I am consistent, trustworthy and always arrive when I say I will.
My work ethic is based on Manners, respect, time management and most of all caring and loving the work I do whether it's personal care, cleaning up or walking a dog.
Dogs are something I've always wanted to work with and now I get this plus I get to help those who trust me to be their support. I love this part of my daily life.
I am happy to take Dogs for walks for 1 hour and will take them local to your area for walking, local ovals for ball throwing. If you prefer beach or other area then this can be discussed.
I am happy to pop in and feed your pooch or feline and also spend a bit of time with them, we can watch a movie or chill in the yard for a while. I can feed them for you and also will clean up any messes.
I cannot offer in home care as I have two dogs, and two cats and you can never tell if personalities will clash. I also cannot offer any long term overnight care due to family commitments and my other work as a carer.

Hello! My name is Shannon. Back in 2018 I had experience with pet sitting as I used to travel to locations all over Adelaide with a friend to look after fur babies (can't help but call them that). It's been too long since I have had the chance to get back into it. And I finally have a decent amount of time to dedicate to being a pet sitter.
My motivation stems from a genuine love for animals, adoring all types. Cats in particular have my heart, they're the sweetest and I've never had a negative experience with a cat or a dog. Growing up I had a few cats which I still really miss.
Most of my experience is with small to medium dogs, and one Great Dane! And many cats.
Im willing to do drop bys to make sure the animals are fed, played with and walked, I'm also wanting to do overnight stays, as I love the responsibilities that come with looking after a pet. Making sure they have someone there, especially when I've built up the trust. I'd have one myself but I just can't financially justify that yet! So the privilege of taking care of a pet and giving you as an owner the peace of mind, that they are safe and happy (will always send pictures) is fulfilling enough.
I have a lot of spare time, and all the attention in the world to give to your pets. I'm always 15-30 minutes early once a schedule has been set, as it can give me time to get to know both you and your pet. I'm so keen to learn the different personalities that come with any breed.

i my name is Caitlin. I'm 20 and I love all types of animals. I have grown up around several different types of dogs as well as other pet and I really enjoy spending time with and getting to know different dogs. Each dog has there own personality, charms and weird quirks that we all love. If you trust me to look after your fur baby I can promise you that they will be well cared for and shown so much love while they are on their little adventure. I currently have 2 dog at home named Gabby and Bruno who are actually mother and son. They love meeting new people. I have finished my time at school as of last year and am just looking to do something I can enjoy at least for now. So hopefully I will be able to meet your beautiful pets and have a lovely time together. I don't take dogs to my house as mine are not very friendly with other but I am more then happy to check on your pets and take them out so they can enjoy themselves. I am currently available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for walks up to an hour I will usually stay in the area for walks or find a park near by. I can also spend up to an hour with your dog for a house visit. For house visits I can help with a small task you may have like bring in any mail or watering any plants.

Hi,
My name is Beatriz, and I'm a Brazilian student currently residing in Adelaide. I have a deep love for pets and miss having them around since I arrived in Australia. I am eager to spend quality time with your furry companions and provide them with the best care possible while you're away.
I am a thoughtful and caring individual who enjoys staying home, playing with pets, going on walks, exploring, reading, and learning new things. Animals hold a special place in my heart! Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of having a dog for over 15 years, as well as 4 hamsters, 2 cats and lots of fish. I've even cared for a guinea pig and, believe it or not, a snake (when it was just a little one, haha)!
Spending time with animals brings me great joy. I love getting to know their unique personalities and doing everything I can to make their day a wonderful one. I am truly excited to meet you and your furry family members.
I'm available to provide pet sitting and dog walking services. I'm usually available all day on Mondays and in the afternoons on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I offer services like dog walking, home visits, playtime, and feeding. If your pet knows some tricks, I can help with that too! However, please note that I don't administer medication or offer training or grooming services.
During home visits, I'm very flexible with time, and we can discuss the duration of the visit based on your needs. For dog walking, I typically walk close to the owner's house and make walks of a maximum of 1 hour.
If you need any further information about me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
