I had this "little girl dream" to take care of animals and I'm proud to say I've graduated as a veterinarian 15 years ago and have been doing this since then! Soon after finishing uni, I did a specialization in clinic and surgery of small animals and had my own veterinarian clinic back home, which was a beautiful experience.
Since I moved to Australia I've been working in different areas (behaviour, GP, internal medicine, rehab therapy and emergency), and all this exposure made me the perfect choice to look after your pet.If you appreciate that extra knowleadge type of care, "clinical eye" AND lots of love, I am your person.
I had a baby girl 3 years ago and I've been making some changes on my working schedule, so, now I think is the right time for me to offer pet care! I'm more flexible and it suits my lifestyle. I am also studying to sit the australian vet exam, so its a good balance with my current duties.
I'm currently offering house visits (1 or 2x day)
I have over 15 years of experience and I am confidente with:
-giving oral medications
-giving injections
-checking your pets blood glucose (if he/she is diabetic)
-positive reinforcement training
-recognize any clinical signs of your pet not being well
-CPR trained
-I have pet physiotherapy training, so it can benefit eldery pets or pets recoverying from injury - an extra cost of assessment and treatment may be applied
-taking care of any pets!


I am Daniela, a 28-year-old Colombian, I arrived in Sydney pursuing my dreams and getting out of the routine a little. I have had pets all my life, I have experience caring for dogs, cats and birds. I would love to be able to take your pet on walks, to parks, to play and why not be able to teach him some tricks. I love animals (golden retriever and Burmese cat owner previousl) and treat them as my own. I raised my golden retriever from a puppy until she passed away at 16. I've been wanting to get another dog but because I work and travel occassionally, I'm not in a position to be a full time pet owner, but would love to get my fix of furry love by looking after your pet. I offer dog walking, home visits and overnight stays at your house. Unfortunately I cannot board pets at my own house. The dog walks &amp; home visits will be +30 minutes each. I can do up to two dog walks a day. Because I freelance and work from home, I am available every weekday and can easily fit walks/home visits in my daily schedule. I am available every weekday, with a bit of notice. Mornings, afternoons and evenings are all fine by me.&nbsp;
I am happy to give oral medication to your pet. During home visits I can water the plants for you and bring in the mail. The dog walks will be in an area as recommended by you, or a local dog friendly park here on the Northern Beaches. While house sitting, I am happy to spend the whole day at the house. I'll make sure to lock up and leave the key in the designated area.&nbsp;

My family has always owned dogs, cats and rabbits ( I grew up with cocker spaniels). I have a gorgeous cat now, we can't fit a dog in our apartment so petsitting fills the doggy void in my life. 
You get two services in one with me, I am a certified horticulturalist and would love to take care or your garden and indoor plants whilst you're gone.
I have been house and pet sitting for years now for friends and family. I work part time for myself so can be at home for long periods of time which is helpful for our anxious furry friends.
