Top cities for cat sitting in Australia

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly East Hills NSW Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our East Hills NSW cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our East Hills NSW cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hello, my name is Sharon. I am a 56 yr old Registered Nurse. I live by myself with 2 Jack Russell Terriers and more than 20 Chickens.
I love animals and can't live without them. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds & horses.
I recently loss my regular house sitter who's a mate of mine so I had to find an alternative. This is how I found Pawshake. I found it so difficult to find someone in my area. Hence I decided I'd become a sitter too so we can all get the opportunity to go away when we need to.
Background wise, I have had a constant pet since I was 17. 2 cats. 3 Jack Russell's. Now there's a handful. While I had the 3 Amigos (my nickname for them), I also fostered medium to large dogs for Fetching Dogs. I'm also crazy about chickens & currently have 26 gals.
All my babies have lived to ripe old ages. My current gal Cheeky, is 15 1/2 yrs.
As a registered nurse I have experience in giving medications and can do for your pet if needed.
I am happy to do home visits for you. Dog walking & overnight stays if needed.
I fostered rescue dogs for fetching dogs for many years. I kept them until they got their forever home & treated them like my own. I'm very affectionate with all my animals so I hope yours like cuddles.
Maybe I will see you in the future.

Hi my name is Bethany! I am a 20 year old animal lover🫶🏼
I am a uni student still living at home with parents and have three cats and a dog. I am just looking to help others out while doing what I love (spending time with animals!) Due to university commitments I am unable to do 24hr home visits but I would love to walk your animal or spend some time with them throughout the day. I offer most services available on the app! I love walking and exercise so I see these activities with animals as a bonus. Even just spending time with animals doesn't feel like much of a job to me which is why I am here isn't it. If you do have any questions please reach out to me, I would love to help you and your furry friends in anyway I can🩷
Looking forward to starting this new chapter with some new animals to meet
