Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Docklands VIC Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Docklands VIC cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Docklands VIC cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi! I'm Emilia, I am located in Melbourne CBD near Flagstaff gardens and Docklands. I have experience with taking care of dogs and cats as I grew up with 2 dogs and 3 cats who are back home overseas and I would love to care for someone else's dog/cat! I have experience volunteering at the RSPCA, and pet sitting my friend's cats and dogs in the past. I am a patient and kind individual, I often approach animals gently and I am highly aware of dogs and cats body language. I just graduated from university and work part-time so I have time to take pets on walks or do home visits!
Services:
- Dog walking (1-2x a day)
- Home visits (1-2x a day)
Availability:
- I currently work part-time so I am able to do walks and home visits in the morning and night and some afternoons
- message if you're interested in routinely morning walks as I am currently available most mornings
Please message me if you have any questions, or would like to arrange a meet & greet with your pet before house sitting to see if we are compatible! ️

Hey there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with a serious soft spot for all things four-legged and furry. I’ve never lived a day without a dog by my side, they’re basically my favourite kind of people.
I grew up surrounded by pups of every shape, size, and sass level, and these days I share life with two of the best: a hilarious red English Staffy and a majestic Scottish Deerhound (think Irish Wolfhound’s artsy cousin). So yes, I’m very comfy with both pocket rockets and gentle giants.
I’ve just relocated from Sydney to Melbourne to focus on my art career, and I’m now offering dog walking, sitting, and top-tier cuddles to help fund the dream. Your fur baby will be treated like one of my own: loved, understood, and totally spoiled (in a responsible way, promise). I’ve got that sixth sense when it comes to dogs - they tend to vibe with me instantly.
So if you need someone reliable, loving, and totally obsessed with making your dog feel at home, I’m your girl. Can’t wait to meet your pup!

I'm passionate about furry friends and have always loved spending time with them. My journey into pet sitting started with taking care of friends' and family members' pets, and eventually owning a French bulldog.I quickly realized how rewarding it is to ensure pets are happy, comfortable, and well-cared for when their owners are away. I understand that pets are not just animals; they are family members. That’s why I provide loving, attentive care, treating every pet as if they were my own.
Whether it’s taking your dog for a walk, playing with them, or ensuring your pet’s daily routine is followed, I’m committed to providing a stress-free experience for both you and your furry friend. I pay attention to detail, ensuring that pets get the exercise, food, and attention they need.
I love the bond that forms when caring for pets and seeing their excitement when they feel safe and loved. I look forward to making your pet feel comfortable and happy while you're away!Services I Offer:

Dog walking (30–60 minutes per walk)
Dog walking (drop-in care and companionship)
Feeding and fresh water
Medication administration (oral/topical, if instructions are clear)
Light grooming (brushing, cleaning paws, etc.)I understand how important companionship is for your furry friend, so I follow guidelines:
During daycare/boarding, your dog will never be left alone for more than 1 hour.
I spend most of the day with your pet, offering cuddles, playtime, walks, and structured downtime.

Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priority. If you have any special routines, instructions, or preferences — I’m all ears!Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon!

I’m Becky, a dedicated cat lover based in Melbourne CBD. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for cats, including helping friends look after their furry companions while they were away on holiday. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of cats—their unique quirks, preferences, and the special bond we can share with them.
Every cat has its personality and needs, and it’s always a joy to spend time with them, ensuring they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I can help by feeding your cat daily and making sure they always has fresh water. I’ll also clean and refresh the litter box regularly to keep their space clean and comfortable. Whether it’s active playtime with their favourite toys or quiet moments of companionship and cuddles, I’ll give your cat the attention and affection they deserve. If your cat requires medication, I’m happy to administer it according to your instructions.
I’m flexible and happy to work around your schedule. Living in the CBD makes it easy for me to visit your home without any hassle. If you have any specific requests or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I can’t wait to meet your feline friend and ensure they’re cared for while you’re away!

Hello, I'm Michael, but you can call me Mike. Currently studying at William Angliss Institute, I've been missing my beloved pet dearly since my arrival here. Interacting with other dogs brings back fond memories of my faithful companion back home, Bernard, a 7-year-old Siberian Husky. From his early months, I've treasured our shared moments, whether it's our morning jogs or playful adventures. Dogs, to me, embody the true essence of companionship; they're undeniably man's best friend. I'm committed to ensuring Bernard's happiness each day, providing him with the utmost care and food. Despite the physical distance, our bond remains unwavering, and I eagerly anticipate our reunion. With my active involvement in sports, rest assured that your dogs will always be satisfied every single time. Petting dogs here fills me with immense joy, serving as a constant reminder of the love and companionship they offer, enriching every single moment of my day.
