My name is Sarah and I LOVE dogs, I have always been around animals as I grew up on a farm in Somerset, UK where we had lots of farm dogs as well as a west highland White House dog. We also bred collies and spaniels which I would look after. I am now 26 and have moved to Australia to live with my brother in Mentone and am missing all of the dog sitting I was doing in the UK as I enjoy the long walks and dog cuddles.

I am a reliable and responsible person who loves animals, I grew up having pets at home (a hamster, a guinea pig, cats and dog), and I have 8 months of housesitting and petsitting experience (can provide reviews and references from previous pet owners). I like nature and walking, hiking and green areas, and I also have experience in training my dog and spending time with many other dogs. DOG WALKS: I am used to being firm and strict with commands when needed but I always use techniques of positive reward with animals. I am used to walking long distances and a dog would be the perfect fellow to bring with me! I think being a pet sitter is the perfect opportunity to do a job and enjoy at the same time. I am available for casual dog walks or some walks every week (including weekends), since I work mostly from home. Usually, I walk dogs once a day, for 1 to 2 hours, but walking time can be discussed according to each dog needs. I can provide some training (ex. reinforcing commands or learning new commands).
PET SITTING AT THE OWNER'S PLACE OR DAY VISITS: Since I don't have a house available to bring the pets in, I offer pet sitting (night stay) at the owner's place or even one or two visits during the day. I have experience providing oral medication to dogs and cats so I'm happy to do this if needed. As I work from home most of the time I am able to spend time with your pets, so they wouldn't be left alone for long. As for day visits, I can come between 30 min to 1h depending on the needs required and price can be adjusted if you need me to stay longer.
