Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Darch WA Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Darch WA cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Darch WA cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

I am a devoted dog lover, looking after them and interacting with them. I grew up with dogs always in the household and they were a vital part of our family, so I am aware of their importance to their owners. I always treat them with the utmost care and respect and when they stay with us they are part of our family too.Our house is spacious and there is plenty of room outside for exercise. Lovely parks just opposite. A quiet street. Clean, non-smoking family environment. Enclosed backyard. Plenty of space to run around. We only ever board a dog(s) from one owner at a time and I rely on the owner's wishes as to whether the dog is comfortable outside or would rather come into the house - also taking into account the season and weather conditions.Your dog(s) may be taken for 2 walks every day (approx 30 minutes) usually in the morning and afternoon/evening to ensure they are well-exercised, although if they are getting on in years the walks may be a little shorter. Whatever they are comfortable with. All breeds are welcome. They will get personalised attention 24/7 so that you can feel confident that they will be well looked after while you are away. I will send you regular updates of photos and texts so that you know they are comfortable and happy staying with us and you can have peace of mind about your favourite pooch(es) while you are away. You can return with the assurance that they have been well looked after and have enjoyed their holiday break as much as you have.

Hi! We’re María (31) and Martín (32), a couple from Argentina currently on a working holiday in Australia.

We both love animals and have always felt a strong connection with dogs and cats. Being away from our own dog Frida, a Border Collie full of energy and love, is actually one of the things we miss the most while travelling.

That’s why we started doing pet sitting while in Australia we worked with trustedhousesitter .We enjoy spending time with animals, getting to know their personalities, and being part of their routine even if it’s just for a few days. It also makes us feel closer to home.

We have experience doing pet sitting for different dogs and cats, both in homes and while house sitting. We are comfortable following routines, feeding schedules, walks, and basic care, and we always make sure pets feel safe, calm and not alone.

We are responsible, caring and tidy people, and we genuinely enjoy this kind of lifestyle because it combines something we love (animals) with trust, respect and calm environments.

We would love to continue pet sitting and treat every pet as if they were part of our own family.

Growing up in Ireland on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and cows taught me how to care for and understand animals from a young age.
I’ve always had pets in my life, and I currently have two dogs and a cat back home who mean the world to me. Being around animals brings me happiness, and I enjoy spending time outdoors with them.
I love going for long walks and exploring new places, making dog walking a perfect fit for my lifestyle. I’ve also gained experience walking dogs for family and friends, from small terriers to larger breeds like Dalmatians.
I’m responsible, caring, and patient, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My motivation is simple — I love animals and want to make them feel happy and cared for.
As I have grown up with my two dogs I have experienced dealing with dogs of all ages.

If you’re looking for someone truly dedicated to animal care, I am exceptional. I have spent 28 years caring for a wide range of animals — from cats, dogs, rabbits, and hedgehogs to even owls. At one point, I owned 50 indoor cats, which taught me immense patience, organization, and the ability to manage multiple animals’ needs simultaneously. In addition, I spent many years feeding and caring for stray animals daily, ensuring they received attention, food, and safety. I am gentle, patient, reliable, and deeply compassionate, understanding that every animal has a unique personality and specific needs. I pay close attention to behavior, diet, and wellbeing, and I approach every animal with empathy and kindness. Your pet will be safe, understood, and genuinely loved in my care. With me, they will receive not just attention, but a nurturing environment where their happiness is the priority. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
My service contains hosting and daycare of cats or dogs.

My name is Vanesa and I’m an animal lover with a lot of experience caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I offer walking and visiting services. I had the joy of spending 17 wonderful years with my Shih Tzu dog, who taught me so much about patience, love, and the responsibility of caring for a pet. I also had two adopted cats who were with me for 3 years, and through them I learned to respect their space, understand their unique personalities, and care for them with kindness and consistency.
While living in the Gold Coast, I volunteered at an animal shelter where I helped clean, feed, and care for the animals—mainly cats, but also dogs from time to time. This experience deepened my bond with animals and confirmed how passionate I am about their well-being.
I’m responsible, caring, and attentive. I love going on walks with dogs, playing with them, and also spending calm, quality time with cats. I’d be happy to look after your pet as if they were part of my own family.

Hi! I’m Jasmin, based in Perth, WA, with a deep love for animals and caring for them like they’re my own. I’ve grown up surrounded by pets and have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small animals. I’ve pet sat for various breeds, and have provided care ranging from playful puppies to older pets needing a gentle pace and extra attention. I also have a 5 year old Kelpie x English Staffy of my own.

As a sitter, I offer a range of services including in-home pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, administering oral medication, and giving your pet the love and attention they deserve. I do not offer boarding, so I care for pets in their own home where they feel most safe and secure.

What motivates me is the peace of mind I can give to pet owners. I’m reliable, gentle, and attentive to the individual routines and personalities of each animal. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, long walks, or simply keeping their environment calm and tidy while you’re away, I’m here to help.

I also have experience giving medication, managing pets with anxiety, and following detailed care instructions. I treat every animal with the same care and respect I would give my own.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss how I can support your pet’s specific needs. I look forward to meeting your furry family!
