I am very much so, an animal lover, whether it's a big dog or small, kitty cat, reptile, rodent or even those unique friends we hold close to our hearts, (talking to you spider and scorpion owners!) As pets light up our life I want to make sure when you're away they get the love they deserve!I have had 2 dogs at once which I walked, washed and played with everyday! There names were Yoda, the Frenchie/Wise One and Duke, the Cavazoo/King Of Wafflton. I have a Central Bearded Dragon named Tigger, who I am fully responsible for, from feeding, washing, cleaning her enclosure, and buying her food. Let's not forget all those fun adventures I have with her in our apartment's courtyard and the costumes I create for her! My brother owns 2 very cute rats, Lily and Bicky, when he is away I care for them and give them very yummy and nutritious meals. I also have more experience then most reptile owners as I have volunteered at Canberra Reptile Zoo in Nicholls, earning me Costumer Services skills and key reptilian knowledge. I also had to learn a lot of random facts to tell the parties of little kids.If you can't tell already I have a passion for pets, learning as much about them and treating them perfectly. I'm Phoebe and I aim to provide reliable, attentive care, long walks, and plenty of cuddles for your dogs. Coming from a home of two large dogs, I have experience handling dogs from large to small (and their varying strengths). As I miss my childhood dogs (a German shepherd and Rhodesian Ridgeback!), I am seeking jobs that provide canine company. I've taken a keen interest in dogs since I was very small and love to see unique breeds or mixes! As such, nothing brings me more joy than a well exercised, content, and well cared for pup. 
I have previous experience walking dogs (large, medium, small) as well as house visits. I am mindful of surroundings, other dogs, traffic, and weather conditions. I tailor each walk to suit your dog's energy level and temperament, while maintaining safety. 
For home visits or sleepovers, my aim is to maintain your dog's normal routine as much as possible. I'll follow any feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any specific behavioral or household guidelines you provide. I'm happy to give your dog as much play time, training, or cuddles as your dog needs (outside of walks!)
I am covered by Public Liability insurance to ensure peace of mind. I'm also very flexible as my I am currently studying at ANU!

I have a genuine passion for caring for animals and providing calm, reliable, and attentive pet care. I aim to keep pets feeling safe and comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible, especially when they are anxious or in a new situation. With nervous pets, I take a gentle, patient approach, allowing them to approach me in their own time and using calm body language to build trust without pressure.

I have experience caring for both dogs and farm animals, including pet sitting two dogs (one young and one older) for a week. During this time, I followed specific feeding routines, provided companionship, and ensured they were comfortable and settled throughout the day. I am also experienced with feeding multiple animals and adjusting to different dietary routines and instructions. The older dog required multiple medications throughout the day, which I delivered routinely. 

For home visits, I typically spend time ensuring pets are fed, have fresh water, are comfortable, and receive attention before leaving. I am happy to provide updates to owners after each visit, including messages and photos, so they feel reassured while away. I am dependable, observant, and always communicate clearly if anything changes or needs attention.

I am an animal lover who is absolutely dog obsessed; I am the type of person that needs to say hi and pat all of the dogs I pass by on the street. 
Since a young age I have always had a dog and other pets in my life before moving to Australia and since I unfortunately don't have any pets of my own at this moment I love to spend time with other people's pets. 
Despite being new to Pawshake I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 8 years. With all of this experience I have gained the skills to adapt to each animals individual needs to ensure that they feel safe and loved during their times with me. 
I'm also a very active person and like to keep fit so I love having some company on my walks.

Hi I'm Alexandra! I'm originally from Melbourne and am currently studying law and commerce at ANU. I have spent my entire life surrounding by animals, especially dogs, chickens and horses. I have experience looking after dogs, chickens, cats and horses of family and friends when they have been away. However, most of my experience comes from my responsibilities at home. I have grown up on acreage and care for 5 horses and a dog at home. I absolutely adore my pets and love to spoil them with treats and cuddles. I would bring the same level of care to looking after your pets as I do to my own animals - I know what it's like to be the owner stressing about your pet while you're away! 
I would love to join your dog in discovering new areas and walking routes around your home to keep them interested and happy on their dog walks. I know every dog has different energy levels and so I am always happy to discuss how long your dog wants to walk for whether this is 30 minutes or an hour. 
When pet sitting I would give them the same love and attention as I would my own pets. I'm not the kind a person who simply feeds the dogs and then ignores them. I love giving them pats and cuddles as much as they love receiving them! I have handled shy dogs and boisterous ones and I know that they often need different levels of care and attention depending on their personalities.
