Top cities for cat sitting in Australia

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Currumbin QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Currumbin QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Currumbin QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi everyone, my name is Shannon & I am from New Zealand. I have recently moved to the Gold Cost after travelling Europe with my partner Curtis for 8 months. While over there we pet sit for many people looking after dogs of all sizes & cats in the UK & Spain! I absoutely loved it and loved the bond I created with each animal. I have always been a animal lover from a very young age and grew up in a house hold with a large Rhodesian Ridgeback named Moh, who is a gentle giant. From a young age (14) I was trusted to look after family friends dogs such as Hungarian Vizsla, GSP's Labrador, Chihuahua's, Cocker Spaniel and the odd cat & Maine Coon cat! I have then continued looking after friends, flatmates & families animals, caring for them as if they were my own. I am extremely active, caring, respectful and would love to have a pet of my own but until then Pawshake will give me a slice of that! I am very comfortable with looking after and walking dogs of all shapes & sizes.
I am currently available Monday-Sunday 5am-6pm for dog walking & house check in's. For the right pet & family, I can be flexible with these hours.
The services that I offer are:

 Dog walks - 30mins - 2hrs

House check in's - can stay for as long as you need & also feed the dog/walk them/play with them/bring in mail/water plants
 Administer medication
 Dog washing

Hey there! Are you in need of a caring and energetic dog walker? Look no further! I'm Milla, a registered nurse who has just moved to the Gold Coast from New Zealand. I also have a passion for dogs and love my daily long walks. With my nurturing nature and dedication to providing top-notch care, I'm ready to embark on exciting adventures with your furry friends.

As a nurse, I've honed my skills in compassion and attentiveness, which I bring to every dog I walk. Whether it's a leisurely stroll or an energetic hike, I'll tailor the walk to your dog's needs. Plus, my daily 5k walks ensure that I have the stamina to keep up with even the most active pups!

I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and requirements, and I'll treat them like the special individuals they are. Safety is my top priority, so you can rest assured that your fur baby will be in good hands.

So, if you're looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced dog walker, I'm here to make tails wag and paws happy! Let's explore the Gold Coast together!

Hi!
I am Hugo Alonso, 29 years old, and I've had pets my entire life (since I was a kid). My first pet was a coker spaniels named Cookie and she was the most lovable dog, I remember teaching her bringing my snacks back from the store, I put my snack in her mouth and she kindly bit it back. Then when she passed, we adopt 2 foster dogs, Canela and Negrita, and we spent the best 12 years together. I used to walk them out 2 times a day, in the morning and when I got back from school or university. Also I played with them, separately, because Canela was really jealous. Sometimes, I used to take them near the beach to have long walks and to play with a tennis ball. Nowadays, back in my home country, we have adopted a foster cat named "Tom" as in Tom & Jerry cartoons and he's amazing, he climbs everything in the house, play with his toys and makes everybody laugh.
Additionally, I find myself as an animal lover, of any kind, I really enjoy their company and they mine. Therefore I believe your pet and I are going to have the best time together! :)

My name is Belén I'm 26 years old, from Argentina, and I grew up with dogs since my very early age. Flor and Rita we're my Childhood dogs, more like sisters to me, like I am an only child, share lot of time playing with them. We share a whole life together, we grew together, but sadly left nine years ago at theirs 12 and 15 years old. They were my hardest lost. Then Simón (the one in the photo) appeared in my life to remember my family and I why we can't imagine a life without dogs. They make me happy. Now I am traveling around Australia with work and holiday visa. I miss a lot of things and people from my country, but who I miss the most is my good boy, who I weekly videocalls. I really love dogs with all my heart and I would be so grateful to work talking care yours. I strongly believe that every dog deserves the most kind, lovely and patience treatment️
