I have done pet sitting for a couple years now and along the way I have looked after so many beautiful animals. I am a vet nurse and am still studying. I have worked with animals for years now, dog boarding, doggy daycare/grooming and now work at a vet clinic. I love to look after animals and treat them as if they were my own. Services I offer is House/Pet sitting. I am free most of the time with occasional weekends away but my calendar will show when I am available. When I am house sitting I am always there at night/staying the night, there is some days I will be at work for 8hrs but will always come back to the house to feed/walk/accompany the pet. I can administer medication very well and will always communicate with the owner re the medication. I can stay at the owners home for however long they request and always make sure to clean and tidy the place before leaving the property as well as securing the home.

I’ve dog sat for families before and always treat every dog like they’re part of my own pack. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments including anxious, nervous, and even reactive or aggressive dogs. I understand the importance of patience, reading body language, and building trust at the dog’s pace.
For example, with anxious dogs, I’ll take things slow, sitting quietly with them, allowing them to come to me, and keeping their environment calm and predictable. For more energetic dogs, I’ll match their energy with engaging play and structured walks. If a dog needs space or is reactive, I’ll choose quieter routes and avoid busy areas to keep them comfortable and safe.
I genuinely love walking, and my walks are typically around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your dog’s needs. I’m also available throughout the day to check in on your dog, with walks usually taking place in the afternoons.

Hi ! I’m Thalya and I live with my partner Jack. We’ve been together for 5 years and during that time we’ve house sat and pet sat for many friends, families, and clients.
We have experience caring for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even horses. We’re confident with different personalities and always follow each pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled.
We also have a gentle greyhound named Winslow, a retired racer who is friendly with other dogs and cats. When introducing pets, we always take it slowly and carefully to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed.
Our home is calm, cozy, and ideal for pets who enjoy a relaxed environment with plenty of love and attention. Pets are rarely left alone for more than 2–3 hours, and often have someone home with them for most of the day.
A typical day includes morning and afternoon walks (usually along local paths or grassy areas), regular feeding routines, and lots of supervision, cuddles, and downtime. During walks, pets are always kept on leash unless instructed otherwise, and we take care to choose safe, quiet areas.

I offer home visits, dog walks and home-sits.
I’m an animal lover, I grew up with 3 dogs, but am not settled down enough to have my own yet. So I love being a pet aunt and have been pet sitting for around 5 years. I’m experienced with older and sick pets, and have done vet visits and medication, as well as young boisterous pups who need more walks and stimulation. I love a pet snuggle! But equally if yours is a little more independent or timid, I’ll respect the warming up process :)
To me, a home is a haven, so I’m super clean and tidy, and will treat your home with the utmost respect!
HOME VISITS AND DOG WALKING:
My availability is generally early morning and nights after work. I can feed your pet, walk dogs (half an hour to 45 mins usually), get the mail in, water plants and any other tasks that might be required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.
I will generally stay an hour depending on what you require. I'll only accept drop in's for the suburb I'm in.
Dog walks are anywhere from 25-45 minutes depending on the needs or limitations of the dog. I'll always act as advised, so if you have a park you would normally take them to or if they like a particular circuit, that's where I'll go. I'm very cautious of off-lead areas until I'm very familiar with your dog, and they're familiar with me. 
HOME SITTING:
I prioritize longer pet sits, as it allows us to be in more of a routine, but am happy to consider shorter sits, especially with repeat clients (and I always love caring for pet friends again - nothing makes me happier than when your dog races to see me or cat comes over for head scratches when they recognise me!)
I'm unable to take live-in sits that are further than 30 mins from the city, and generally only service the eastern, north east and south east suburbs. Any further out and my travel gets too crazy.
I work from home part time in admin, and take casual retail and promo shifts, so while there may be days I'm away 8-9 hours, it's usual that it's only 4-5 hours at a time. I keep a routine of being able to walk dogs in the morning and at night. And feed on a morning/night schedule also. On long term sits, I'll make sure to wash dogs as required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.
I'll of course keep the house immaculate, and water plants, collect mail and tend to all the household things that come up.
I don't invite friends around, if possible I'll park in the driveway for the visual cue that people are home, and I have a strong system for locking up as I leave. Your house security is of utmost importance!
I’m part of a network of Melbourne pet sitters, so if anything comes up that I’m unsure about, there is always support from others with experience. I’ll send you lots of pics while you’re away, as I know you’ll be missing your fur children, and send lots of updates!

I want to be a dog walker because caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life. I currently have Cleo my German Shepherd and Suki my Doxiepoo, so I'm experienced with both large, energetic dogs and smaller breeds with big personalities. Growing up, I had Labradors which founded my love for dogs.
