Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Cronulla NSW Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Cronulla NSW cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Cronulla NSW cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

I currently own two cats that I absolutely spoil and care for every day, so I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone trustworthy and loving. I genuinely enjoy looking after cats and making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away on holidays, work trips, or unexpected travel.
I have experience with all types of cats — from affectionate and social to shy, anxious, or feisty. One of my own cats has quite a strong personality, so I understand that every cat has different boundaries and needs. I never force shy cats to interact and always allow them to approach me in their own time.
I have been pet sitting for several years for friends, family, and repeat clients, caring for cats anywhere from a couple of days to over a month at a time. I can also administer tablets and follow any specific care instructions required. During visits, I will provide fresh food and water, clean litter trays, and spend around 30 minutes to an hour with your cat to help them feel comfortable and relaxed. My goal is always to give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for in their own home. I will provide owners with daily contact/updates if requested as well as following all emergency procedures.
I pride myself on being flexible, reliable, and genuinely caring towards all animals. Whether your cat is vaccinated or not, I’m happy to help wherever I can. Please feel free to contact me with any questions — I’d love to help you feel confident and comfortable in choosing the right pet sitter for your furry family member.

Good day everyone,I am offering my services for pet sitting, house visits and dog walking. I am comfortable administering medication, walking, cleaning etc. I am located in the Sutherland Shire region in the South of Sydney but happy to travel for those that need assistance. I have been working with animals including dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens and more for 15 years with a more specific focus on dogs for the last 12 years. My experience has afforded me the opportunity for extensive learning about dog behaviour and perhaps most importantly, how to keep them calm and happy.
I work independently as a behaviour consultant to help people with both prevention and resolution to common behaviour issues and as much as I enjoy the work, providing care for people's pets whilst they're away gives me a wonderful opportunity to focus more on providing stability and care.
I have 2 large dogs and live with my wife and 2 children.
I have extensive experience with rescue animals having consulted hundreds of cases over the years in addition to providing free seminars for foster carers and rescue groups to help improve adoption success rates.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

I recently said goodbye to my beautiful Devon Rex after 18 incredible years together. She wasn’t just a pet, she was my family. While I’m not ready to replace her, I’ve found that the best way to honour that love is by caring for other people’s pets and giving them the same attention, patience, and affection.
Animals naturally feel at ease with me. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to person for friends and family who need someone reliable and gentle. I took my neighbour’s Boxer on long daily walks, building a routine she thrived on, and I’ve looked after my brother’s toy poodle many times—whether that’s walking, feeding, or keeping him calm and happy while he’s away.
What you can expect from me:• Genuine care and emotional understanding of animals• Calm, patient handling—especially for older or sensitive pets• Reliable routines for feeding, walking, and companionship• Plenty of affection, attention, and reassurance
I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, because I’ve been on that side too. I’ll treat your animal with the same love and respect I gave my own.
Whether your pet needs long walks, quiet company, or just someone who “gets” them—I’m here.

Hi, I’m Pauly!
I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wollongong, but dogs have always been my real passion and now that I’ve finished my studies, I get to spend more time doing what I love by offering dog walking, sitting, and training services.
I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have my own bichoodle, Aiko. I also help care for my sister’s two German Shepherds, Lynk and Havoc so reactive or “tricky” dogs hold a special place in my heart. Whether your pup is a chilled-out lab or a nervous rescue still learning to trust, I believe patience and consistency go a long way, and I love giving dogs the time and attention they need to thrive.
I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes — small, medium, large, or XL and have experience with German Shepherds ️, poodle crosses, Labradors, Vizslas, Beagles, and many more breeds.
My services:
Home Visits — I’ll feed, check on, and play with your pup, offer enrichment, and even water plants or grab your mail while you’re away.
Dog Walks (30 mins) — Includes pick-up, leashing, and feeding time. Walks combine exercise, light obedience practice, and downtime for sniffing and decompressing.
Overnight Stays — I’ll be there with your dog the whole time, aside from quick trips for food or the gym.
Dog Training — Leash manners, reactivity/aggression work, obedience, puppy training, crate training, and separation anxiety. $200 initial consult, then $40/session.
I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings — flexible around your schedule. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

Hi, I’m a passionate animal lover based in Caringbah and proud dog owner to my Pablo, who is a huge part of our lives. I understand how important it is to know your fur babies are safe, happy, and cared for when you can’t be there, and sometimes everyone needs a helping hand. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs and have experience caring for animals of different ages, personalities, and needs. Through both my own pets and years around family dogs, I’ve developed a genuine understanding of the care, patience, and attention animals deserve. I’ll always treat your pets with the same love, affection, and care that I give to Pablo, so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands. I live in a large three-bedroom apartment with a secure balcony, and we enjoy a very active lifestyle with regular walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. I’ll always treat your pets with the same love, affection, and care that I give to Pablo, so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands.
We live a very active lifestyle and I have no physical limitations. I offer walks between 30 minutes to 1 hour. I am able to assist with pick up and drop off in close proximity. For house sitting, I am able to support your dogs needs, including feeding times, energy levels, play and comfort.

Hello and welcome - I love pets and am available for services in reasonable driving distance.
I enjoy my time with pets. I can do a drop in feeding/company service or pick up and walk service. I can also walk cats in strollers or on harnesses. Open to boarding small dogs and cats as I don't have room for larger dogs but that could change in the near future. A cat or dog stroller would be appreciated so I can take them to a wide range of places and in and out of buildings and we can walk with leashes / harnesses etc in normal places unless your pet prefers the stroller.
I have had regular and repeat pet sitting for over 20 years often back to back at times in a full time capacity.
I can manage very well a house or apartment with 1-2 cats OR 1-2 small-medium-large dogs or security and maintaining the property only. Due to a previous wrist injury I am unable to walk large dogs that don't heel. I prefer retractable leashes if a dog likes to go and sniff various things. I prefer dogs that are well trained and respnd to comands. Most dogs and cats of all breeds are good with me, I have a very calm nature. The shy ones warm up to me quickly.
For house sits - I am not able do pool service or garden/yard service so this can be outsourced and supervised but your pets will be pampered, petted and cared for as if they were my own and excercised.
I can administer medication and have looked after elderly, blind and deaf cats and dogs.
I am a non-smoker, non drinker / nor take drugs/ substances.
*****I would like to Guarantee your peace of mind when you are travelling*****
I feel a connection with animals and am a very calm and confident person and work well under pressure in emergency situations to find the best solution. Shy pets tend to warm up to me quickly.
I have had experience with many types of homes, situations and pets and been through four cyclones/ hurricanes in the US with two being at different house sits while house sitting outside of Australia.
Kindly reach out if you have an assignment with details of tasks needed.
I am located in Rockdale and have a medium sized SUV that would need to be parked to visit.

Hi, my name is Mariana :)
Nice to meet you!
I'm a Brazilian veterinarian and veterinary nurse with 10 years of experience in the field. I've been working as a veterinary nurse in Sydney for almost two years at one of the largest emergency hospitals. My goal is to offer reliable and compassionate pet sitting services.
I'm available in the mornings and afternoons during weekdays (Monday to Friday).
The services I offer include caring for your pet, playing with them, giving them attention, providing fresh food and water, cleaning up after them, and washing their food bowls. For dogs, I can also take them on short walks.
I'm qualified to administer medications, as I am a veterinarian in Brazil and a veterinary nurse in Australia, so I have the necessary knowledge for this. However, I do not offer training or grooming services.
During home visits, I stay around 30 minutes, depending on the pet's needs. I can also water plants and bring in the mail if needed.
I offer dog walking sessions that last 40-45 minutes, choosing safe and pet-friendly areas for walks.
I can’t host pets at my home, but I’m happy to visit your pet in their own environment and take them for walks, play with them, or simply keep them company while you’re away. I ensure that all pets in my care are vaccinated to keep everyone safe. My work is not just about looking after your pet’s basic needs; I also make sure they feel loved and comfortable in your absence.
I understand how important your pet is to you, and I am committed to providing high-quality care with a personal touch. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in experienced and caring hands.

Regards,
Mariana.

I have hands-on experience in caring for pets within my home, where I have taken responsibility for feeding, grooming, walking, cleaning, and providing companionship to ensure their health and happiness. I am attentive to routines, dietary needs, and behavior changes, always prioritizing the comfort and safety of pets. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and building trust with animals. While my direct experience is home-based, I am passionate about extending my care skills to support other pets and their families. I am reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality care, whether it’s playtime, exercise, or ensuring pets feel loved and secure while their owners are away. With strong observational skills, I can quickly identify and respond to pets’ needs, ensuring they remain happy and healthy. I am eager to bring my dedication and enthusiasm into a professional pet care role. I am mostly available evening time.

I’ve always been passionate about animals, and my extensive experience comes from years of hands-on work, including my time with a mobile veterinary service. This role gave me the unique privilege of caring for pets in the comfort of their own homes, creating a stress-free environment that prioritizes their well-being.
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the needs of animals of all shapes and sizes. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or simply providing a little extra pampering, I’m dedicated to ensuring every furry (and feathered!) family member gets the care and attention they deserve.
Although I’m unable to host pets in my own home, I’m more than happy to visit yours to provide the companionship and care your beloved animals need. You can rest easy knowing they’ll be in the hands of someone who truly loves and understands animals.
Qualifications:
Fully accredited in Animal Psychology and Pet Behaviour.
Certified in Pet First Aid.
