Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Coomera QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Coomera QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Coomera QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

I'm a dedicated pet owner on maternity leave and looking to get out and about with my baby while earning some pocket money.
Growing up my dad owned a pet shop so I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. At one point we had two dogs, a cat, an African grey parrot, 4 parakeets an iguana 3 gerbils and approx 200 tropical fish!
I've got two 7 year old rag doll cats (Dave and Teddy) and I've used pet sitting services several times for short and long trips so know how important our fur babies are and the standard I'd desire for my two.
They haven't been around other pets and as such I can't host over night but I would be more than happy to do nice park walks with my bub and your doggo or once or twice visits with your cats for feeds and to offer some company.
Other than dogs and cats we had lots of hand reared birds so comfortable around them also.
Living in Hope island so would stick to the Northern Gold Coast

Hi! My name is Ariel I'm 22 years old and i am a passionate animal lover, I have had animals my whole life, I cannot live without them I also have a lot of experience with animals, I use to volunteer at the animal welfare league center and have looked after other animals as well. I have completed a cert II in animal care and now undertaking a cert III in animal care so if you choose me I will definitely make sure that your fur baby is loved cared for and kept safe.
I am comfortable caring for dogs, cats and other companion animals this includes feeding, walking, playtime as well as enrichment activites for them and even maintaining their daily rounties. I can provide regular updates such as photos as well as communication so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and in safe hands while your not home. I am a reliable, patient and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable and very well loved in my care.
Services that i will be doing:

Doggy day care at my home:
I provide Doggy daycare at my home, offering supervision and loving care for your furry friend. Doggy daycare is a great service because it allows enrichment during the day. Providing doggy day care in a more quiet and relaxed home environemnt offers your dog a safe and relaxed atmosphere, which can be a better option for your pet rather than a crowded doggy daycare centre.

I offer dog walking as one of my services to help keep your furry friend active and healthy as well as mentally stimulated. The walks are tailored to your dogs age and fitness level and indiviual needs. I will make sure your furry friend gets plenty of exercise enirchement as well as so much attention, cuddles and playtime all while staying safe at all times.

My name is Anne Ronnenbergh. I am 71 years old . I am South African by birth. I am a caring, loving lady who has many years of experience as a dog owner. I have trained all my dogs from puppy (Dobermans) to walk on leash and off leash.
Have always been available to assist family when they go on holiday to look after their pets. Dogs become stressed when their owners go away so as a dog carer I try to minimise the stress by keeping their regular routine as much as possible. I even sleep in to comfort a dog if required.
When my family left for Australia I took on two extra dogs. At one time I had up to 5 dogs in my care.
I used to care for my stepsons dog Gizmo, a Staffi cross when they went away or a long day out.
I like to care for dogs as they are normally very responsive to me and prefer to be in their own environment when the owners are away.
I recently took care of Ryan and Colette Martin's dogs for 7 days. Slept in their home caring for the dogs.
I live in Upper Coomera with my family and can walk dogs in the area and care for them .
Contact me for an interview.

Hi. My name is Kim. I have nearly 60 reviews between 2 websites . To view, my Mindahome ID is: 96k. On Aussie House S, I can send you a direct link save you searching, as I'm not allowed to put a link on the Madpaws website unfortunately.
I am a solo female traveller, originally from Coogee Beach, Sydney, where I cared for my elderly Mum. I became a professional dancer at age 14, worked in travel for 25yrs; airline, tour guide, been volunteering 30+yrs and also worked in law as a PA.
I’ve travelled, worked and volunteered extensively overseas and at home in Australia. I practice meditation and I’m a non drinker/non smoker. I take my responsibilities seriously and maintain a strict no-guests and no-parties policy to ensure your home is safe and your treasured companions receive excellent care. I'm a homebody too, who does admin voluntary work from home. I’ll follow your instructions about their care to the letter and I won't cancel unless there's an emergency. I absolutely adore animals and their innate capacity to fill my heart with unconditional love. And since ’22, I’ve accrued 60 online reviews across 3 housesitting platforms which some hosts refer to as 'glowing'. So, the only thing you really have to concern yourself with is enjoying your time away and leaving the security of your home and pet’s care in trusted hands.
I've been responsible for maintaining and securing : apartments, houses, townhouses, hobby farms, homesteads (1.5-40 acres) & a cattle block (5K acres), from 1 night to 146 days - on the beachfront, near a beach, on a canal, on a river, regional, rural, remote, suburbia and urban downtown.
My services include housesitting overnight (24hrs securing your home and ensuring your babys are safe), day short visits (depending on your needs - feeding, play, welfare check, companionship), walking (30mins-1hr), training (re barking, pulling on the lead), and grooming (trim nails). I've cared for 37 breeds of doggies/puppys, 18 breeds of cats, 9 of birds, and 10 of farm animals of which a number have been elderly and/or rescue with separation/storm anxiety.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards Kim

Hello!
I am Phoebe. I have just moved back to Australia after 11 years living and working overseas.
I have a gorgeous little kitty cat who is my world and is the most spoilt cuddly little girl. I brought her over from USA with me, having to leave her in a foster care for over 7 months.
I grew up on a farm in Victoria, with dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, goats, alpacas, lizards, fish, chickens, etc. I was always asking my parents for more pets. I raised birds from the nest. Bottle fed lambs, showed alpacas in shows, and trained more than one puppy!
I would love to offer to look after your pet for you in your own home while you are away. I can drop in to walk, cuddle, feed and everything else they need!
As someone who has entrusted my cat's care to someone else in the past, I understand what is required and will be sure to keep you updated every step of the way and send through lots of photos of your animals.
I have always loved animals, constantly being the one who disappears because they saw a dog or cat!! I want to have so many pets off my own, but in the mean time I would love to help you look after your special one!!!
I would love to use this excuse to explore the area, and get in some good exercise too!
Happy to answer any questions you have!

Hi! I'm a passionate animal lover and proud dog mum to two friendly dogs of my own. Being a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and genuinely caring to look after your furry family members. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love for animals and the joy I get from spending time with them, whether that's going for walks, playing, or simply giving them attention and comfort.
I have one Border Collie and one Moodle x Cavoodle, so I’m very familiar with managing different temperaments and energy levels. From the intelligence and high energy needs of a working breed to the affectionate and companion-focused nature of a smaller crossbreed, I’ve learned how important it is to tailor care to each individual dog. I’m confident handling dogs of various sizes and personalities, always prioritising their safety, wellbeing, and emotional comfort.
When first meeting your pet I like to make them comfortable by sitting down and letting them approach me. I put my hand out face down so they can smell me and go at their own pace.
Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply cuddling up for company, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and keep things consistent while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and ensure they receive plenty of love, supervision, and care!
I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member!

Hi! I’m Lana and I genuinely love all animals big and small. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away, so I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ve owned cats, dogs and birds my whole life and have always loved caring for animals.
I offer dog boarding, doggy day care, dog walking and home visits for dogs, cats and birds. Whether your pet needs company during the day, a walk to burn off some energy, or a safe place to stay while you’re away, I’m here to help.
My home is calm and comfortable, with a dedicated outdoor patio area where dogs can safely relax and enjoy fresh air. The space is secure, fenced and undercover, providing plenty of shade and protection from the weather. Dogs have access to raised beds, cooling mats, fresh water and a fun splash pool so they stay comfortable even during the warm Gold Coast days.
I work from home full time which means pets are always supervised, receive lots of playtime, care and cuddles so they feel happy and relaxed. I have a lot of experience handling animal emergencies, administering medications, tube feeding and surgery after care. I make sure to keep them hydrated at all times (especially in the Gold Coast heat) so I aways carry a portable water bottle and even treats (if mum or dad says they are allowed!).
For home visits I am happy to discuss small tasks needed if you’re away such as bringing in mail, taking out bins or watering plants.
I only take a small number of pets at a time so each one gets plenty of attention and care. For everyone’s safety, I ask that pets staying at my home are vaccinated and friendly with other animals. I have three friendly indoor cats who are used to a peaceful home environment. My dog walks are around 30 minutes and I'll usually take them for a walk either around their local neighbourhood, pimpama dog park, coomera sports dog park or oxenford lake.
I’ll also send daily updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and I’m always happy to organise a meet and greet beforehand so you and your pet feel completely comfortable. Feel free to message me anytime if you have questions or would like to chat about specific needs. I look forward to meeting you and your fur (or feather) babies!

Hi, I’m Odette – a lifelong animal lover based on the Gold Coast. While I’m new to pet sitting professionally, caring for animals comes naturally to me. I grew up around pets and have always been the friend or family member people call when they need someone loving and reliable to check in on their furry family members.
I live with a sweet kitten of my own, so at the moment I’m not offering pet boarding in my home – I want to make sure she continues to feel safe and secure as she grows. That said, I’m more than happy to come to your home for drop-in visits, cuddles, feedings, playtime, and walkies. Whether it’s making sure your dog gets their exercise and stimulation, or your cat gets some gentle company while you’re away, I bring patience, warmth, and attention to detail to every visit.
I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own – and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and follow any specific routines or needs they may have.
If you’re looking for a dependable, genuinely animal-obsessed carer who will love your pets like family, I’d love to help. Feel free to get in touch with any questions or to organise a meet & greet!
Warm regards
Odette

Hi! My name is David and I’m a responsible, active and calm person who genuinely loves animals and spending time outdoors. I grew up around pets and have always felt a natural connection with dogs — I truly enjoy caring for them, walking them and making sure they feel safe, relaxed and happy.

I live an active lifestyle and spend a lot of time walking, training and being in nature, so dog walking fits perfectly with who I am. I’m very attentive, patient and respectful of each pet’s personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a calm walk, I adapt easily.

I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else. I treat every animal as if it were my own, always prioritising their wellbeing, safety and comfort. I follow instructions carefully, keep routines consistent and make sure pets receive plenty of attention and affection.

I’m motivated to work as a pet sitter because it allows me to combine responsibility, movement, nature and meaningful connection. I’m happy to care for vaccinated pets and I’m always open to clear communication with owners to ensure peace of mind.

I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

Only servicing Hope Island !
Working with animals has always been a dream of mine and this is only the start of my life's purpose! Come along with me on my journey!
During home visits, I will stay for 30 minutes to an hour just to make sure that the food has been eaten and an overall physical check to ensure they are okay also to ensure the house is safe and secure. Some of that time will be necessary for some cuddles as well!
For cats, I will feed per request, clean the cat litter, clean anything that has been dusty and general spot clean to ensure your cat feels safe.
For dogs, I will feed per request, clean their poop from the backyard, take on walks, play with them and do overall spot cleaning.
Time is never an issue for me so I will never mind spending some valued time with your pets making sure that they feel loved and secure.
If you have plants, I would love to water them for you or even if you're needing your fish to be fed.
Once completing my daily feedings and cuddles, I will do a routine check to make sure the house is secure and all the doors and windows are locked as like prior.
Upon request, I will happily send update pictures of your furry friend and any extra requests will be accepted!
For walks if your pet walks a certain path, I would love to take them on it to fit their routine but if they love new smells, I am happy to take them a new route close by, including dog parks in your area. The standard dog walk is 45 minutes to an hour but there will be no time limit on walking just as long as your dog is satisfied!
Dogs must be trained properly for walks and be well mannered and will be refused if they do have reactive behaviours and poor recalls - this is for the safety of your dog/s, other dogs and owners and also myself.
