Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Chelsea VIC Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Chelsea VIC cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Chelsea VIC cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Dogs and cats have been with me almost all my life — they’re not just animals to me, they’re family. I had my own wonderful dogs.
For 3 years, I volunteered at a dog shelter, helping socialize dogs of all breeds and sizes.
And at the moment I'm a volunteer in "the lost dogs home" shelter
I’ve been a dog sitter for 8 years, so I have a great understanding of dogs and know how to communicate with them and make them feel comfortable.

I have more than 30 happy clients in Melbourne.

But most importantly, I want every dog in my care to feel at home. I’ll give them plenty of love, attention and care, so their time away from you feels as easy and stress-free as possible.

I’d be more than happy to keep your furry friend company and look after them as if they were my own. ️

My name is Chelsea and I am an environmental scientist. I have always had a passion for the outdoors and animals. I love going on long walks, hikes and bike rides. I'm also a passionate netball player and coach.
Ive grown up surrounded by animals my whole life, from dogs to cats, birds, rabbits, Guinea pigs and fish. Since moving from home, I haven't been able to commit to a pet full time as I travel for work sometimes. However, when I settle down, the first thing I will be doing is getting a dog!
I have experience in pet sitting through family and friends, notably, larger dog breeds. My family breed Bernese mountain dogs so I have a bit more knowledge in this area. However, I understand that different pets have different needs and I can always make it work for what is required. I love being outside, but it's even better when I can have a furry companion!

Hi there!
We’re Jade and Brad, a pet-loving couple who are happiest when we’re around animals. We’ve both grown up with dogs and cats, and Jade has extra experience looking after dogs through in home pet sitting. Brad works full time, and Jade is currently finishing her degree online, so she has plenty of time to dedicate to your fur babies!
We know how much pets mean to their families, so when we care for yours, we treat them like our own. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, playtime, or just keeping them company, we make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. We want your pets to feel truly comfotrable and looked after. If you have any questions for us, don't hesitate to ask :)
We’d love to meet you and your furry friends and help give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands.

I’m a calm, caring, and reliable pet sitter with a genuine love for animals and a strong respect for the trust pet owners place in me. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from how naturally I connect with animals, particularly those who benefit from a gentle, kind and loving presence. I really value providing care that is genuine and feels safe, low-stress, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs, routines, and personality.
I have previous experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, temperaments, and energy levels, including pets who are a little anxious, shy, or sensitive to change. I’m very observant and take the time to notice the small things — changes in behaviour, appetite, or mood — so pets feel settled and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m also comfortable following specific instructions around feeding, medication, walks, and routines.
I take pet care seriously and always aim to treat animals as if they were my own. My goal is to provide loving, thoughtful care so you can feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in kind and capable hands.

Hi, I'm Can. I've always had cats around the house all my life and regularly walk my neighbour's large dog, so I'm comfortable and confident with bigger dogs as well as small ones. Walking and animals are my two favourite things in the world, so this is genuinely a joy for me. I'm reliable, and treat every pet like my own. I'll make sure your dog comes home happy and tired.
I can walk your dog and play with them, throw a ball around the park etc. I'm comfortable with taking care of any size dog, cats, turtles, guinea pigs, birds or even snakes and spiders if you can instruct me how to feed them. I'm also comfortable administering any type of medication.
Before the first booking I'm glad to do a quick meet-and-greet so you and your pet feel comfortable with me. I can send photo or text updates during walks so you always know how they're doing, and I'm happy to handle keys, feeding, and water while you're away. Based in Seaford and the surrounding south-east suburbs. I'd love to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) friend.

Hi! I’m Nyah I'm 20 years old and currently working as a vet nurse, so caring for animals is something I’m truly passionate about. I have experience handling pets of all sizes, personalities, and needs, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident their pets are in safe and caring hands while they’re away.
Working in the veterinary industry has given me experience with animal behaviour, administering basic care, recognising signs of stress or illness, and ensuring pets feel comfortable and secure. I’m confident caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own.
My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals and wanting to provide owners with peace of mind when they can’t be home. I know every pet has their own routine and personality, so I always take the time to make sure they feel happy, safe, and well looked after.
I’m happy to provide regular photo and message updates so owners can feel connected to their pets while away. I’m experienced managing multiple pets, following feeding and medication routines, and caring for animals with different temperaments and needs. Walks and playtime are always tailored to each pet’s energy levels and routine to ensure they stay happy, healthy, and comfortable in my care. I'm av available for home vists, walks and overnight stays i also can administer medication comfortably if needed and also can clip nails.
your welcome to chat to me to talk about availability

My name is Jaala,
Ever since I can remember I have had a passion for animals! So much so it lead me to have my own dog walking and minding business since 2017. The Dobiejax Squad
I have studied at NDTF (National Dog Training Federation) along with doing as many workshops and courses I can. I absolutely LOVE my job so technically I've never worked a day!
Currently based in Carrum. Will do pick up and drop offs
I have 2 dogs an 8yr old Dobermann named Jax & a 3yr old Vizsla Merlot.
I also have 2 cats- 6yr old Burmese Meek & 1yr old Ginger Harrow.
They're all animal friendly and get along with all animals. They've all grown up around dogs, cats rabbits.
All minding dogs sleep inside. And come out on walks.
Outside of Dogs I am a professional boxer so I base my availability and schedule to align with training, camps and bouts.

Me and my partner recently had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, who crossed the rainbow bridge after many happy years with us. We miss him every day, and while nothing can replace him, caring for other pets brings us so much happiness. We know how much pets mean to their families, and we promise to care for yours with the same love and attention we gave our own.I'm a teacher working in Victoria, and I live with my partner. We both absolutely love animals and have many years of experience looking after dogs and cats. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, we're happy to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As we're currently on holiday, we have a flexible schedule and are available most days for dog walking services for 20 AUD dollars up to 1 hours of walking. We'll treat your furry family member like one of our own and keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they're in caring and reliable hands. We can't wait to meet you and your wonderful pets!

Hi, I'm Tom! I've grown up around dogs my entire life and have always loved spending time with them. I currently have two small dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of finding someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable to look after your pets.
Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small companion dogs to larger breeds. Whether your dog enjoys a relaxed stroll, an energetic walk, or simply some company and attention, I'm happy to tailor my care to their needs.
I know that every dog is different, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while in my care. My experience as a dog owner has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each dog's individual personality.
I'm passionate about providing a positive experience for both pets and their owners. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and plenty of care and attention for your furry family member.
I only accept vaccinated dogs and will treat your pet as if they were one of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

Hi, my name is Ellen. I am 23 years old and am currently working part time at a local cafe! I have been a huge animal lover my whole life, having had 4 dogs, which have been my absolute best friends. I have mainly been around and cared for boxers so I am very comfortable with big dogs who have lots of energy and even the ones with behavioural issues! I eventually want a career in animal care or vet nursing. Although I don't currently have any professional experience in dog sitting I have always been around dogs, big and small, I have looked after many family member and friends dogs while they're away. I would love to gain some professional experience by doing something I love, while being able to help any families who need it. I am keen on pet sitting, overnight and day visits and also dog walking!!

Hi everyone ! My names Nik, and I love going on adventures with my big boy Basil.
After taking guardianship of a 5 year old in tact male German Shepherd for over a year now, I've learnt a lot about behaviour management, safe and responsible handling, and giving my dog the best possible chance at succeeding in our training. They say owning a German shepherd will turn you into a dog trainer, and that's not too far from the truth.
My motivation to sign up to this service is to be able to help other dogs become comfortable in all environments.
DOG WALKING SERVICE ( read before booking ) :
This is not a half hour service - and the last place I will be taking your dog to is the dog park. We will be going on nature walks, to the beach, to bunnings and the shops, we will learn how to be calm at the cafe. For this reason my service will be a 1-2 hour commitment. It will be early in the morning (starting at 7am most times). The whole purpose of this experience is to help build confidence in your dog through exercise and exposure to new experiences. This is MOST beneficial for dogs under 15 months old, but also great for all.
The biggest take away that I have had for this last year, is that consistency and time will naturally create the greatest outcomes. To celebrate the small wins when they happen, and to remain emotionally neutral in the stressful times. I'm not a dog trainer - but I love learning and improving and I'm fortunate enough to have a dog who is very well behaved with smaller breeds - I can't tell you how many times I've had owners say "my dog usually doesn't like German shepherds, I've never seen him this fine with them".
if you have a small to medium sized dog and you'd like them to actually get something out of their walks, please reach out :)

VACCINATIONS - its totally up to you what you want to do with your dogs health. The only thing I need to see infront of me when I come for pickup, is a healthy happy Dog.
I wont be offering house stays at this time - but stay tuned that might change!
